Why The Last Unicorn? I can already hear you asking! I suppose it's a spiritual thing with me. Call me a dumb and naieve child, but, I still hold in my heart, to this day that someday I will see a unicorn. And in times of trouble in my life, I can imagine the peace and beauty of a unicorn, and instantly I feel better. Sometimes it makes me cry, since, due to the "legends and lore" of a unicorn, they only come to virgins, but, in my mind, I think that "virgin" means those pure of heart and devoid of hate. I like to think of myself as those things, and even if I am not, I never shall give up on my unicorns.

Okay..I'm going to assume since you surfed into this webby page, that you know me. If not..that's okay I guess. I like visitors..makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!!!

Okay, the "basic 'a/s/l'" question. I am 25 (I will be turning 26 this August [Speaking of which..where's my card?! haven't you sent it yet?!]), and (DUH) I am a female. I live in Texas (which is the PRETTIEST state in the WHOLE WORLD!!), just north of Austin. I am currently no longer 'gainfully' employed as a college student, but have settled into a steady job as Head Teller of Government Employees Federal Credit Union of Austin, Tx (the oldest Credit Union in Texas, since 1931!).

In case you can't tell from my own personal links, I have a 5 year old son (he was born January 27, 1998). He will be starting Kindergarden this fall, thank goodness!! And yes, I will try to get more updated pics on this website...until then...DEAL!!

I also wanted to include a page for my friends, past and present, because without them, who would I be? They are important to me..they let me vent at them about things that frustrate me. All in all, my friends are what have helped keep me going.

And, of course, I cannot forget a French Horn page, since, if it weren't for my music, I probably would have gone insane a LONG time ago (or at least be nuttier then I already am, ehh?). No, really...I had a WONDERFUL horn teacher right now, and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have gone to SHSU, or even think about returning. And OH YEAH..if you're reading this, and know how I can POSSIBLY audition for like the Disney Orchestra (like the ones who do the music for the moives) would you email me and tell me HOW, since that is my DREAM!!! Or, maybe if you know how I could play professionally, that'd be peachy too!!!

I guess I am a simplistic person at the core. I am happiest simply reading, chatting with my friends on mIRC, taking a LONG bath, spending time with my son, and practicing my horn, when I find/make the time. I like to get email, so please, Please, PLEASE email me!!! There are many things I would like to do with my life, and to show and give to my son. To make him realize the value of this precious gift that we have been given....I am truly a simple person, wanting nothing more then enough money to keep a roof over my head, food in my mouth, music on my stand, books on my shelves and songs to fill my home!

I want to travel to the far edges of the Earth. Although, failing that, there are a few places I want to see someday before I die. I want to go to Ireland, to see the "motherland" as you will. I want to see Austria and see the "Dancing Horses" (Lippizan Stallions). I want to go scuba diving off the coast of Australia at the Great Barrier reef. Someday...maybe!! :)

Well, I did have a page for my "dark" side...guess I'm gonna have to see if I can rebuild...;)

Here's another picture of me in High School (my freshman year) doing what I did (and still do) the best..playing my horn. This is me marching at the 1991 Texas UIL State Preliminary Marching Contest. I am proud to say that the Georgetown High School Marching Band took 4th that year. My high school is also one of the few High Schools to use real French horns on the marching field..they proved a purer tone, and, in my opinion, keep the horns up front, it's always an impressive sight to see those bells flashing in the stadium lights!!!

Here I am at Prom my Senior year. I went with a dear friend named Andy. I had a good time, got to dance with alot of my friends that I had grown up with..and I STILL think a man in a tuxedo is a sexy thing!!!

Okay, this is not meant to be an offensive comic to those of my friends who are Christian or otherwise, I just saw it in the paper and it struck me as funny. (why yes, George, I DO have a sick sense of humor!!!)

I would also like to say I am now a supporter of the Blue Ribbon Campaign for Free Speech for personal reasons. Please remember that the Government has no right to try to control us in this fashion. I just want you all to remember that! :)
