Parents Prayer

Lord, please guide us daily
Grant us wisdom, strength and love,
As we guide this precious child
You have sent from above.
Give us patience and control
To not hurt or neglect
But instill with loving firmness
The behavior we expect
Help us to teach by good example
That your laws we must obey,
For children learn from what they see.
Not just what we say.
Oh, Lord, we need your guidance
We cannot do this alone
Lord, may we have raised a Christian
When at last out child is grown.
