Hey!! I'm Charlotte, and I've been a Wallflower fan since May 1997. I'm 23, and I'm from Austin, TX. I'm from Dallas originally, but I came to Austin to attend college, and after graduating, I took a job in Austin. (I LOVE it here - I just couldn't leave ...). For the record, since I'm a native Texan ... No, I do not ride horses everywhere (I've probably ridden a horse twice in my life), I've NEVER worn cowboy boots, the only time I've ever worn a cowboy hat is because it was part of my band uniform - therefore required, I HATE country music, and I don't have big hair. However, I do say "ya'll" a lot, I love to watch football, and well, Walker Texas Ranger goes to my friend's church... he's very short. Anyway, I've been to three Wallflower concerts. I haven't actually met them, but I've come really close. I actually yelled something at Jakob once, and he answered back. Also, once I stood right next to Greg, but there was a covered fence between us, and he couldn't see me. Anyway, I met Vanessa in February 1998 at the old VH1 Wallflower BB, and we've managed to email each other pretty much every day since then (except for weekends and holidays). As you can probably tell, my favorite wallflower is Greg. Because of this, I feel like I'm in the minority most of the time (I mean, who really notices the bass player?), but I *know* there are other Greg-fans out there. I love the Wallflowers - their music is beyond awesome!! Also, because of them, I made two great friends and met tons of other wallflower fans! Another one of my favorite bands is the Beatles. I've loved their music for about 10 years now, so if you've got a Beatles question, you can ask me, and I'll probably know the answer. Gee, I wonder who my favorite Beatle is...could it be the bass player, Paul?? My favorite album of all time is Abbey Road by the Beatles :
I also like REM, Matchbox 20, Blues Traveler, Live, Sarah McLachlan, Pearl Jam, Creed, U2, etc., the list could go on and on! Some "older" music I like - The Byrds, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, CCR, The Doors, Elton John, The Mamas and the Papas, The Bee Gees (SNFever), The Monkees (I'm serious), and yes, even (ahem) Bob! Even older music than that - Beethoven!!, Chopin (wonder if Rami knows any), Bernstein (fun to play), Copland (even more fun to play), Tchaikovsky, Ravel (Bolero), Bach, and even Sousa (piccolo parts in marches are something else). I played the flute for 10 years (the piccolo for 3), and I MISS it already! It was always very relaxing to sit and play music for an hour or so every day. Anyway, I hope you like our web page's tribute to the Wallflowers' rhythm section! Be sure and visit Vanessa and Leigh's web page - it's awesome - a good place to go for updates on our favorite band. Please sign our guestbook and/or email us if you have any questions/comments/etc. Check ya later!!

Hey!! You may recognize me from the other page I'm a part of called Mourning Train. Yeah I just had do something about my fav Wallflower, Mario. I have to say I'm among the most obsessed Wallflower fans there are!! Really, I spend a lot of time surfing the net looking up stuff on them, working on this page and on the other one, talking to fellow Wallflower friends and going to the new message board that Leigh came up with called Flowerheads Online for the latest news and gossip or whatever. I've been a Wallflower fan back in September '97. I heard OH like in March or something but I wasn't really curious about them. I even still remember the very first wallflower Page I went to . It was Julie's wallflower page. I could go on forever talking about the guys but my parents and friends unfortunately aren't too fond of that idea. I've never been to a concert of theirs but was very close to going this May when they came to Austin but since I didn't have someone to go with me and didn't have transportation everything was blown off. Hope I can next year when they start to tour again and when their new album is out!! Gotta stay optimistic about these things!! Ok you're probably wondering where Charlotte and I met. We met at the VH1 Sounding Boards and came together to bring our obsession to another level!! (He he!!) The Wallflowers are indeed my ultimate fav band of all. After all their music inspired my interest in music. Before I didn't really listen to the radio but when I heard "One Headlight" sparks flew!! Just can't see myself not listening to their music!! Here's a taste of what other bands I like besides The Wallflowers:
Well I just turned 19 this Sept 5!! I'm in college, just finished up my first year this May!! My major is Pharmacy. I know your probably wondering how in the world do I find time to be here. Well, where there's a will there's a way!! I've made two wonderful friends while going to the Sounding Boards. Their Leigh and Charlotte. Both are super awesome love you guys!!
Well, on August 1, Vanessa, Leigh, and I met. Vanessa drove up to Austin with her family to visit her aunt, but she managed to spend the whole day Saturday with Leigh and me. We drove around downtown and showed Vanessa the different places in Austin where the Wallies played. We also stopped at Dobie Mall so Vanessa could buy the Jakob poster, but @#$%!!, they were all out!! We stopped by Barnes and Noble to scan the magazine racks for any Wallflower articles. (Of course, I scanned through "Bass Player Mag.", but, alas, no Greg articles or pics). We also went by Ruta Maya, a local coffee shop, where the Wallflowers were seen eating lunch the last time they were here. After our Austin "Wallflower sites" tour, we headed back to Leigh's to watch Wallflower videos and surf the net all afternoon. We had a blast meeting each other, so if you've got any "online" Wallflower friends living near you, I highly suggest you try to meet. (It's great for getting out all the supressed wallflower-fan energy). Anyway, Vanessa and Leigh - you guys are just as nice, cool, and fun in person as you are online, and I can't wait until you move up here to go to college, Vanessa, so we can all get together again. The next Austin Wallflower concert -- HERE WE COME!! ~ Charlotte
