SIEGE: the sitting down before a town; blockading to take by force; a long, distressing or wearying period of time.
SEIZE: to put in legal possession of; to take possession of suddenly and by force; to have a sudden and drastic effect upon; to take advantage of the opportunity quickly.
The Lord is saying SEIZE the opportunities at hand...The Lord is saying to SEIZE the land. SEIZE the cities... the strongholds of our minds and burn the idols of our vaulted, vain, man-made thinking to the ground.
Then SEIZE our watering places... the heart and spirit of us, and dig them out and bring them into submission to God Holy Spirit.
And then SEIZE and EXECUTE the false prophets... the speaking of our tongues that tear down others, and ourselves by allowing God to have control of that member, the tongue, which no man can control but by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
Oh people, let us come one by one to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and allow Him into our hearts in the dark places that there be light to live, and our minds that there be real spiritual understanding, and into our bodies to be healed and whole.
