Back in the 60's Dr Pepper lost it's dot, because the font they used didn't have a dot so it went from Dr. Pepper to Dr Pepper.

An old slogan of Dr Pepper is 10, 2, 4. Back in the 1920's there was research that said people would lose their energy at 10 O'clock, 2 O'clock & 4 O'clock. So Dr Pepper advertized that you could pep up your energy and they sugguested that you drink Dr Pepper at 10, 2 & 4
