Black men, white women
Black women, white men
Should not be condemned
for interacting and becoming friends.
Inject forgiveness into the bloodstream,
Puncture the skin with wisdom,
Eradicate stigmas, eliminate dogmas
and anaesthetize racism.
Prick us with enlightenment,
Numb the nerve endings of alienation
Desensitize the pain of rejection
and anaethetize racism.
No-one is better than the other,
We are all brothers and sisters
in the eyes of the Father;
We were all born out of woman
and we will all die one day,
So anaethetize racism
and cast ignorance away.
