Make sure everyone on the squad is responsible for bringing something needed: buckets, hoses, sponges, glass cleaner, paper towels, brushes for tires, vaccuum cleaner (if you're cleaning inside of the car too), soap, etc. Most merchants (McDonald's, Wal-Mart, etc.) will allow you to use their parking lots/faucets.
Ask a local Ty dealer to donate a hard to find beanie (Millenium bear, Glory, etc.) to the squad. Sell raffle tickets for $1 each. Each girl profits $1 for each ticket she sells. No cost involved except for the roll of tickets!
This idea was used by our elementary all-star squad. The gym donated use of its facilities for a Friday night. Each girl invited friends from school to spend the night at the gym. Each ticket to the Bunk-in was sold for $15. Pizza and drinks were served. Each girl profited about $13 for each guest that attended. Some girls easily made over $100 in one night!!!
Our squad held a golf tournament. Each cheerleader earned $$ according to the number of players she had, and by getting hole sponsors.
