Through the woods, I walked so. Not knowing why, but sure, The answer will show. Onward I trod, Though I knew not why, Till the mountains gave way, With a splendor, of field and sky. But of this field, never had I seen, Of blue and yellow, Red and green. But up in the distance, That which I see, I know is the answer, Of why here, I came to be. For on a hilltop, looking as dazzled as I, A figure stood, framed by the sky. I knew at once, this figure that I see, But us here, together, How could this be? But in each others arms we were, As by a slight shove. Above us I looked, And there, a white dove. And I knew then, In you I had found, True love.
