Comments: I have come upon several memorial sites and this one truly holds a special place in my heart. I guess being in the same line of work as he makes his death hit a little closer to home. I know that no amount of time will ever heal you totally but isn't it wonderful that little mechanism in us that God gave us that lets time take away the sharp heart renching pain? (This too I have experianced with the loss of my cousin) I pray you keep this site going for inspiration to others who just need a place to come and share their own experiance and know they are not alone.

Comments: Hi, there seems to be a common sadness in our lives. My nephew was killed by a drunk driver on Thanksgiving Day 1997. He served in the National Guard and looked forward to making a career in firefighting. He talked about it everytime I spoke to him. I was so proud of him. He wanted to save people from burning homes, automobile wrecks and so on. He wanted to serve the public in helping people only to have it taken away by a drunk driver. Not only did his death affect his sibling, grandparents, aunt and uncle. It affected his younger cousins. Young children that had just experienced death the month before Jeremiah's death. They cried, they asked questions and they had something to say. That is why they started KewlKiddz.org. Kewl Kiddz is a place where kids, 13 years and younger can go to and speak about issues that are important to them. We also have a web ring, Kewl Kiddz Against Drunk Drivers (KKADD) where kids have the chance to say what they think about the drunk drivers/driving that took someone dear to them away.
Please, DON"T DRINK AND DRIVE!! it not only takes away from the older generations, it also takes away from our younger people. People that should be innocent to the permanence of death.... It is like a part of a book that the young person can never read, can never learn from.
May God guide you and your family. May He watch over this mans young son and guide him through the right paths and chapters of life.
