• I heard that there are going to be two new bears from TY....they are Peach ( a peach bear with a green string around his neck) and a blue bear (a blue bear with a dk blue ribbon around his neck and a dk blue cloud on his chest.)
• I heard that TY was going to retire all the beanies and start fresh!
• I heard TY was going to stop making beanies!
• I also heard that the reason ty is retiring so much is to make way for a new line of plush, or to clear away some of the less popular beanies off retailors shelves
• Someone said that ty will announce some new releases Oct. 1st, one of them being a penguin with a santa hat, another will be a santa clause.
• I heard that Halo is not going to retire because of the Halo Forever Campaign.
• Someone said that they are going to come out with new beanies for the New Year.
• I heard that TY was making a new line of TBB's and they are coming out in March.

• We received this e-mail from a friend: I am writing on behalf of myself and 34 victims to request your help. There is a beanie scammer lurking on the beanie guestbooks and beanieauction sites (Ebay, Up4Sale, Beanie Nation, Epage, My Shop and Yahoo). Hisname is M. Bear (aka Marvin Bear) from San Francisco, California. He is alsoknown to have used the name R. Ancheta. Marvin Bear advertises a 3 bear promotion (Libearty, Maple andBritainnia) for $99.95 and has recently also offered Germania for $33.00. His adsand auctions usually list a redirection URL to a Geocities website. Hisemail addresses has recently had the Excite.com extension. Once you emailhim, Marvin Bear will give you a bogus "confirmation" number, in which youwould have 7 days to mail him a check or money order to any number of mailbox addresses he has used. He moves around quite often and his promotions generally end on the 20th of each month. Currently, he has two websites, http://mbpromotions.url4life.com andthe email address is mbpromos@excite.com. The address used forMBpromotions is 41 Sutter St. Ste#1410 SF CA 94104. Marvin Bear is also currentlyusing the name R.A. Enterprises and asking people to make the checks to R.Ancheta. The URL is http://raenterprises.url4life.com and email address raenterprises@excite.com. The address used for RA Enterpises is 268Bush St. #3340, SF CA 94104. The Caution List website has an entire page devoted to M Bear. That iswhere you'll find my story as well. The URL is http://www.traderlist.com/beanie_blowout.html. At last count, thetotal scammed by M Bear from known victims were $7768.55 (with 5 victims yetto respond from traderlist.com) We believe the amount lost is much highersince most people do not report Internet crimes. The following authorities are actively working on this case. Pleasecontact them if necessary: 1. Bonnie Bone, SF Postal Inspector (415) 778-5837 2. Police Chief Harold Lane of Shannon Castle, PA (412) 885-9300 True many of us who were scammed should have been more careful,however, it does not give the right for M Bear to continue in his criminalactivity. Also Announced were two Beanie Buddies ... corrected from earlier posting: Inch and SchweetheartPillow Pal - Spangle Ty retailers can order 12 of each of Buddy at summer tradeshows. They can order 20 of the Pillow Pals as well. If I hear more, I will add to this information. I will alsomodify any changes that may be necessary.
