"She is an exceptionally brilliant woman. She got her PHD when she was in her early- to mid-twenties. She comes off at first kind of hard-edged, but if you are honestly putting forth an effort to do well, she will help you out. If you can ever catch her in her office, stop by and visit a moment. The more enthusiastic you are, the more response you'll get from her. Guys seem to like this class because they think she is good-looking. I suppose from a girl's point-of-view (which would be my own) she is pretty. She dresses well and is professional in class. If I had to take another psychology class, I wouldn't mind one from her. One last thing: DON'T BE LATE! It's her biggest pet peeve, as you quickly find out." - Student - Grade: B
"She was probably the best teacher I've had at S.F.A.! If I wasn't already so far along in my major, I'd switch majors just to see more of HER! I suppose I'm biased since I fell in love with her on the first day of her class, but alas...she's married. She expects you to be on time, and to have read the material she's going to go over before class. Her enthusiasm and complete grasp of her subject material make her classes very enjoyable. I never missed a class, and actually looked forward to going to this one. If you need to take PSY 133, take it from Dr. Scharff. "He was okay, but he was kinda dull. He does an outline on the board of what all he is going to cover for that day, so if you really want to you can copy that and leave and just read in the book on the details. He was very helpful in if you had a question or didn't understand anything. He also offered extra credit. It was a pretty easy class. I never studied and I got a C, so I would reccommend him." - Student - Grade: C

"This lady is great, and makes Human Sexuality even more interesting than it already is. She is very candid, and very much likes student interaction during class. My class is over 100 people, but it's still a blast b/c after a while people loosen up and the class is very enjoyable. I hope to be able to take her again for more psychology class.
