"His tests are hard but if you study they are passable. what bothered me was his attitude in class. Every other class period he would waste at least 20 minutes of class time lecturing us about our test grades. He treats students like they are kindergarteners, rather than college students. His class his also absolutely dull. I think marketing can be fun but not if all you do is read directly out of the text. Take him if you like being talked down to, you plan to go to class come hell or high water, and if you have a high tolerance for boredom." - Student - Grade: B

"Doesn't teach much, but read the book and you'll be fine. You learn more about the tobacco industry than you'll ever want to know. Tests are not easy, but she curves. One group project, save all your research, she wants it turned in with the final paper. If you're just taking this class for an elective, I strongly recommend. "She has no concept of grading. Not a good system because the grade you get is not the grade you deserve. Does not appreciate effort. Does not care. Never discusses anything with detail until the day before it is due. Needs to go over her grading again. Is totally innacurate. She just takes off or whatever she feels like. "Avoid her at all cost. Dr.Kahla's desire in this class, is to keep the students guessing her every thought and next move. Once you think you're prepared and you think you understand her assignments, it's time to think again. Dr. Kahla leaves you second guessing even herself, plus the feeling of being stranded and all alone is an every day occurance. Besides the "guessing game" we must endure, we also have to figure out her strange and unorthodox way of grading assignments and tests.
