Dumas

"One hell of a guy! very enjoyable class. although there are a lot of articles due the class is great. a very helpful professor. makes sure that everyone in the class is up to speed. relates all class dicussions to everyday happenings. easy to learn. all around great class!" - Student - Grade: A

"Best teacher I've had!! He makes sense, his tests are over what he discusses in class. He reviews for his tests until your sick of it. This semester he let everyone who was pleased with their grade blow the final!" - Student - Grade: A

"Talk about a pathetic excuse for a teacher! If you are easily offended ... stay away. He curses in class, calls all females darling and honey, and stinks like rotten vegetation! This is the most unorganized teacher I have every had. You will pay $80 for a new book that is never used because his lectures will be out of the old book and he will use a test bank for exam questions that are out of the old book. He will bring no notes to class, therefore he cannot remember what he told you from one lecture to the next. He will often tell you wrong information. Then he will tell you that you don't have to read the book at all, because the exam will strictly cover the notes. Then you will find yourself in the exam reading questions that you have never even heard before because they were not in the lecture and you should have read the book! He assigns a great deal of busy work, 50 articles with a 2 page summary and how if affects the economy (he will never read these, but he expects you to turn them in and he will slap a grade on it according to whether he likes you or not). "I don't care for him as a person, he is one of the most arrogant people I have ever met. But, he really is an excellent professor. He is very structured and prepared for class. His exams are very do-able and come straight from the lecture. The first exam, I read the book - but all the remaining exams I never cracked the book and I went into the final with a 98 average. He will give four exams and a final, and you get to drop the lowest test grade. There are alot of graphs and he will expect you to know them. He will give you a problem set to work prior to the exam and he will go over these the day before the exam, be prepared to participate. But, if you work these practice sets, you will pass the exam. I would definitely take him again.!" - Student - Grade: A

Edwardson

"Very, very easy! Not only is he just overall easy going, he actually makes some of it make sense! I took Eco 231 last semester and failed, but have an A in his class. He gives 4 tests, and you get to drop one, plus homework and computer assignments that help keep your grade up, and bonus attendance quizzes worth up to 5 points on your final average." - Student - Grade: A

Howard

"This man is the best math teacher I've ever had. He makes sure you totally understand the material, and he gives ample time for review. After Stats 220 I didn't think I would ever understand statistics, But Howard made learning easy. I loved this class!" - Student - Grade: A

Simmons

"He teaches theory with few numerical examples. His tests are multiple choice and very short. Since they are on scantron, there is no partial credit. Also, no formulas are given to you . . . must memorize them all-some are a page long. Gag!" - Student - Grade: ?

"Worst teacher I have ever had in my life. I am a good student but this guy could frustrate anybody. He has been on probation for failing too many students. Each test is worth 8 points. The total possible is like 24 all semester. He does not fully work any problems out on the board. Save yourself and your money and take Howard. He makes it as enjoyable as this subject could be." - Student - Grade: F
