Carey Stevens
"Well I had a grad student for this class, and it was not very enjoyable. We had to create a huge project in the end which was a very unpleasant experience since it counted for such a large amount of our. By the way no other class had to do this project." - Student - Grade B
Frye
"Do not, I repeat do not take the prof. He is a royal pain and has the most abstract questions on his exams. Speeches are real tough. No margin for error." - Student - Grade B
Jeffcoat
"He is anal and goes by the book. No margin for error. do not take him." - Student - Grade: ?
"He is not a tough teacher. He grades hard, but if you use the things he teaches in your speech, you'll do just fine." - Student - Grade: A
"i would not reccomend Jeffcoat!! He grades VERY hard and takes off points just for scratching your nose, or leaning to one side, and for every "um" or "uh" or "like" that you say. It's almost impossible to pass his speeches. Although he is a nice guy, but he takes off points from your final grade for absences!! take this class only if you want a great challenge." - Student - Grade: C
King
"TAKE KING FOR 111! He knows how hard this class is on all people, and he takes it into consideration when grading. Only two tests, plus a few give-me assignments, and then the speeches. He really listens to students and if you think he grades you wrong on something, he is quick to discuss it with you and change it if necessary. You WILL NOT be disappointed." - Student - Grade: A
Nichols
"I'm not even sure if he still teaches here, but if he does, maybe he shouldn't. He has like three jobs including teaching here. He has poor health and misses class more often than the students. I can count on one hand the number of classes I attended, and I still made my B. The only time I did come was on speech days and exam days. Good luck studying for the exams--what a waste of time. Take someone else if you actually want to have a class." - Student - Grade: B
"This class was a breeze. Nichols is a nice man who doesn't demand a whole lot. If you do the speeches you've got it made. He has a sense of humor and likes to offer interesting statistics. I enjoyed the class and I hate speaking in front of people." - Student - Grade: A
Sumner
"Easy A, grades very leniantly, tests are pretty hard. She grades very soft on your speeches and that absorbs any trouble you might have on the tests. She is very soft spoken and kind hearted. Just a generally all around nice person. She gives alot of notes, and she's a fast talker." - Student - Grade: A

Dr. Jean Eldred
"This lady is cooky!!! She counts off if you are tardy or late...GO TO CLASS! She will keep you the entire time of class and you have to watch her drink a slim fast or Dr. Pepper the entire lecture time. She gives out assignments that you basically answer and turn in...no hard grading (she puts stickers on the perfect papers!). She gives quizes and her tests are easy if you study. This class can be rather boring when she gets off onto one of her stories, but overall it is easy and you will laugh at her craziness." - Student - Grade: B
Williford
"Fun instructor and interesting course. Must show up for class or she counts off your grade. Tests are fill in the blank but if notes are taken every day, they are easy." - Student - Grade: A

"Do not, I repeat do not take the prof. He is a royal pain and has the most abstract questions on his exams. Speeches are real tough. No margin for error." - Student - Grade B
"The class is interesting, however the teacher his in his own world and jumps to conclusions extremely quickly, and he doesn't lecture over what will be on the test although he makes you think he does. If you just want to take a hard class where the assingments are irrelevent and take too much timeto do, then be my guest to take this prof." - Student - Grade B
Parker
"She is a very good instructor and her classes are enjoyable. Tough to pass unless you study very hard and thoroughly though." - Student - Grade C
Towns
"DO NOT take this class! This is the most awful class I have ever taken here! You have to literally spill your guts and talk about things you would NEVER want to talk about with strangers, and you have to talk every day about your personal life in front of the whole class. I came to class every day, made low A's on his tests (which take a butt-load of studying and are all essay), and I made A's on the 2 papers we had to write in there. I STILL got a C just because I didn't talk every day about my personal life. Talking in class was like a 30% part of your semester grade. It was a total waste of time. He was a really nice guy, but stay away from this class!" - Student - Grade C

Mayer
"Copy editing, headline writing. I took the class in the summer, and well, Dr. Mayer kinda grew on me. He's a strange one, but you'll come away with a greater understanding of grammar than you ever wanted. The class is relatively easy if you understand how the parts of speech fit together. By the way, don't buy into his "Clean Thoughts Week" or "Manners and Morals Week" (both extend indefinitely), they're shams (shhhhh....)" - Student - Grade: A

Glascock
"If you've ever had Glascock for a class, you'll understand why I wouldn't recommend anyone take this course with him. Wait for Dr. Mayer to start teaching it again. Day after day it is nothing but notes, notes, notes. And Glascock speeds through them so fast you won't have time to write everything down. In addition, you don't even need to know half of what he puts up on the overhead, so you'll waste your time trying to copy things down. His tests are not reflective of the material at all. Essay tests in com law? They should be easy but instead they have been extremely difficult. Glascock expects you to memorize every case you study in class and be able to spit it all back out in essay form. And since he only gives three tests, you can't afford to mess up. The legal briefs he assigns are a pain in butt too. For your own sake and sanity, wait to take this class with Mayer. Glascock is the kind of teacher that is the exact opposite of what an inspirational, informative and experienced teacher should be. In a word, he stinks." - Student - Grade: D
Mayer
"Great class, but be careful. 10-12 pages of notes in 50 minutes. Dr. Mayer is a strange one, but he grows on you, and if you can get used to his sense of humor you'll enjoy it." - Student - Grade: A
