AST 105

Dan Bruton

"Dr. Dan is an awesome professor. He's very easy going. Making an A in this class is a breeze if you do the simple homework assignments and either take notes or read the chapters." - Student - Grade: A

Norm Markworth

"Dr. Markworth was great. He has very little homework, and it is optional. If you do it then it is extra credit on the following exam. Uses lots of slides and videos to teach with in class and he will answer all of your questions very patiently. It is an easy class, except for the one annoying, mandatory trip to the observatory, which is just inconvenient. " - Student - Grade: A

"Dr. Markworth is a great professor. He's not as personal as some professors, but you learn none the less. He uses a lot of visuals.....I mean A LOT. Its very helpful for those of us that don't know the first thing about space. If you're thinking of taking AST 105, take Markworth." - Student - Grade: B

"This class was cool! Very Easy, and Norm was a great professor. Take this class for your science credit." - Student - Grade: A

"Dr. Norm is awesome. It takes some effort to get to know him, but if you do, it helps the class pass easier. DO your work, pay attention, and pretend taht all the viceos are astounding, and you'll do great. His exams are very difficult, so study for them. As a person, Dr. Norm is cool. He's not just a scientist and prof; he acts in the LampLite Theatre. He's a bit, uh. . . expressive in his opinions. The first time I met him, he was pounding an his keyboard and cursing the screen! But he really is a neat guy.." - Student - Grade: B
