Jennifer Ashbrook. What can I say, I love Jen-Jen. She is an amazing flutist, a whiz on the swing dancing floor, and a beautifully fluent writer. She was one of the four drum majors for the 99-2000 Mighty Eagle Band. She also has the knack for saying the funniest things. Well, to me that is. Espousedly mine, this girl has a genuine desire to be the brightest, most enjoyable person to be around. She can make anyone smile, and her laugh is pure gold.
Aaron Bray. Now in Texas A&M, he is the peer I have the utmost respect for. This godly young man is always there for me, whether its just to say "hi" or to listen to me in my many troubles. Its impossible to not get the feeling that he's genuinely caring about your situation, ready to listen, pray, or help you out. His leadership skills are evidenced through his drum major position he held in the Crowley Band. His skill at caring for people is only rivaled by his trumpet playing and math abilities. Thanks Aaron for everything.
Cynthia Chan. I have know Ying Ying for a very long time. We both went to the same church for a while until she moved to Arlington. A fun loving sweet girl, she's always ready with a quick smile and good laugh to brighten up the day. She is one of the members of the Hurricane Harbor Posse that hang out there ;).
Susan Chiang. Ahh Susan, always there to bring happiness, always there to crack a joke and bring a smile, always there to REGULATE if anybody gets out of line! This studious young lady can strum her guitar, or smack the tennis ball with equal fervor. Susan is an awesome friend, and I hope she stays normal in that big and strange world of UT.
Gail Hayworth. She is Crowley High School's Salutatorian and currently attending Brown University. Gail in her eternal effervescent bubble has the ability to brighten my day. Though she may be a bit eccentric, gullible, and even paranoid at times, you can't but help feel better after being around her. This talented girl kicks butt in taekwando and has an innate ability to draw. Her outgoing attitude may overshadow her true competitive nature in academics. Success (future lawyer in the making) is lining this kindred spirit's future brightly!
Jenny Ho. Extrememly fun loving, and always ready to smile away the days problems, Jenny is an awesome person to hang with. I always get a kick talking with her, cuz she's never depressing; she always seems to bring good news! Too bad she's in Hong Kong....
Manson Ho. In the University of Texas at Arlington, this big man is growing up with an aspiration in criminal justice/law. Manson is very intellectual, and we share similar interests in authors and books. He has been a great friend through out my life. We've always been playing video games or baseball together. He's a really great conversationalist, and I always enjoy talking to him.
Vicky Ho. Though rather quiet on first appearance, Vicky has never failed to be a good person to talk to. My li'l sister, she has a fantastic skill for art. Her works are currently being displayed in my room. She evidently saw some beautiful vision that inspired her to take up the French Horn, but she decided to quit. How could anyone want to quit such a beautiful instrument!!
Wanchi Ho. Currently at Dallas Baptist University, Wanchi is a sweet person through and through. Her positive attitude radiates consistently. It can be seen in her undying motto, "No problem!" One flash of her smile, and the day's problems look a lot less dim. You can talk to her about anything, and she'll listen. She's always there to be a friend... and make sure my tag isn't sticking out.
Andrew Higgins. Andrew is in his dream school, UT Austin, rooming with Poon and Mitchell. He is a simple but intelligent guy who loves God. His closeness to God has inspired me many times to do the right thing. This man can jam on his Baritone Horn, well enough to be a drum major anyway, and is gifted in mathematics. He is also illiterate, or reads so slow he might as well be. To me, he will always be the PIMP, a mentor and friend.
Ben Krueger. Ever faithful, ever true, little white boy, I love you. *Sob* Ben is my long time buddy, we go back to the Nintendo days. I remember he would come over EVERY Saturday to attempt to beat me in Mario Kart. Pathetic. Nowadays, he attempts to beat me in basketball...ok I'll shut up now, I suck at basketball. Now this guy, he has some skills to talk about. Every throw from the free line, *swish*. How depressing.
Matthew Leung. This guy is my long time buddie and pal. Ever since we were wee young 'uns, we played nintendo (Simon's Quest, UN Squadron) and football with each other. Little Matt has turned into big buff Matt. His weird sense of humor will never cease to amaze me. He plays the trumpet for the butt kicking LD Bell band, and rocks at starcraft. Tousche!
Laura Marshall. Currently at TCU, Laura is a precious innocent girl and the only person that seems impossible to be corrupted by the trio. Her brilliant smile can sure make the day seem a lot less dark. Always considerate of others (sometimes a bit too worried) its hard not to have a good time when near her. I wish she would show off her awesome piano skills more though (and wear socks).
Jason Mitchell. The ultimate mix of laziness and evil. Jason is definitely one of the biggest slackers I know, but also one of my best friends. He is intelligent (or rather i should say deviously cunning) regardless of his work ethic and is studying Electrical Engineering at UT Austin. He rooming with Poon and Higgs, who I suppose have adapted to his love for Anime and sharp objects. Good ol' Satan err I mean Jason.
Jesse Ngoo. A freak of nature. He manages to just about reach 6 feet, and as any Chinese person will tell you, that is quite an accomplishment. This guy will provide you grins just from being remotely near him. His goofy jokes brighten my day. He always adds a very needed spark in my dull life... except when he's showing me up in sports. Whether its the court or fields, Jesse dominates.
Phiyen Nguyen. She's also at the big land of UT Austin. Gifted with a bright mind and a personality to match it, Phen is one heckuva girl. A true asian, she and I can talk about a variety of subjects that only asians can. I enjoy every chance I get to talk to her. She is a beautiful person in and out.
Jason Poon. Now at UT Austin, its not his strong character, or his ability to jam on the guitar that earns him my respect. He's just... the man. I mean, we are a pair, together, best friends. Peanut butter and jelly, Sonny and Cher, Bausch and Lomb, you get the idea. You know, God puts someone on earth especially made for you. Someone to lean on, to understand, to have them understand you, to be with. This is my guy.
Natasha Poon. Currently at TCU, Natasha is the most talented musician I know. Her great piano playing skills never cease to amaze me. Not only the piano, but she picked up the guitar with stupendous speed as well. This fun loving young lady also has a certain talent to bring smiles to all those she talks to. The first one to say "hi!" every time, she is one of those rare people that always seem to have friendly dispositions. A true jewel of a friend.
Kunt-yi Eugenia "Gena" Samqui. One of my few highschool friends that made it out to California with me (Actually my only highschool friend). Really sweet but also really bright, Gena's living life large at Claremont McKenna College. Godly yet wacky, Gena is truly unique. Her younger sister (Pent-yi) and my younger brother are friends also, so its like a double sibling-friendship thingie. Weird, but totally cool.
Jennifer Spivey. A TCU Horn Frog, Jennifer is an incredibly sweet girl who has a good amount of spunk, even though she is always accusing herself of being too passisve. I was proud to have Jen-Jen as one of my drum majors in 99-2000. She's always shown great amount of musical talent on the clarinet, not to mention her outstanding academic prowess. Thanks Jennifer for the "swinging" good times.
Laura Anna Stewart. The Crowley High School class of 2000 Valedectorian, LAS is now a full fledged Aggie. She is truly gifted with a great intelligence that manifests itself on whatever task she chooses to embark on. She has introduced me to such great but addictive novelties such as THE WHEEL OF TIME series and I may flunk out of school because of it. I enjoy listening to her unusually sarcastic but delightful sense of humor. She's a great person to talk to, not only because she's an incredible person, but because its really easy to look down upon her and feel tall. ;)
Amy Tyan. My cousin. She's really quiet for the most part, but if you ever get the chance to talk to her, she'll give you a meaningful conversation. I remember long ago, Andy and I would pick on her a bunch, that just proves how much fun she can be! =) Seriously Amy's a really nice person, she just needs to talk more, and expand her vocab to a little more than just "hi" and "yes." ;)
Andy Tyan. My other cousin. This guy is wacky and neat, a true friend you can count on. He, Jason, and I have a lot of history together. He's musically talented, being able to play the piano, violin, and trumpet. His mind is also very powerful, and he may one day beat my SAT scores (not likely ;) And for some unknown reason, he can play basketball better than any Chinese person I know. I wonder where he got it from, cuz those genes sure aren't in me.
Andrew "Kang Kang" Wang. Little Wang, he is my blood and kin. Ironically he is not so little, but a big man on the North Crappy err I mean North Crowley Campus. He is extremely intelligent and hard working, and has high goals for himself. Drew balances his school work with band (he is a snare player) and tennis. He is one of the most competent people I know. I love him and he is one of the main reasons why its going to be great to go back home during vacation. My little Andrew is growing up.
Steve Witt. Steve, a TCU Horned frog, is the embodiment of "confidence." This guy is unafraid, ready to face the world with a dashing smile and a personality of gold. Humorous, talented at percussion, singing, and art work (I have a caricature of myself from him), this guy never ceases to amaze me. A great person at heart, he has room for each of the many people he knows. Steve, you're everybody's local super hero.
Ben Yee. He's a TAMS geek! This guy is constantly smiling and joking and being happy, and really just a joy to be around, except when he's showing everybody up with his awesome vertical. Never the less, whenever you're having a bad day, get next to him, talk for a bit, and you can't help but smile. He's got the most amazing ups and is also a clarinet and tennis player. By the way Ben, only fruity guys play the clarinet =D.
Olivia Yiu. I met her at DCCYC. She's very perky, spunky, and energetic ;) Though she has a tendency to be a bit jumpy, she is a genuinely sweet and kind hearted girl. She's really fun loving, and one of the few people who would actually make the effort to go out to fun places and hang out.
There are many people that have touched me in some way or another. Give me a mail if you would like to correct some data up here.
