TRUTH OR DARE
Parts 1-3
By Sarah

Part I:

“Snow, Snow and more snow!” the weatherman on the TV said. With that note Dawson clicked the TV off.

“Looks like snow,” he said with a chuckle to Joey sitting next to him.

“I guess, Dawson,” she said.

Dawson and Joey had gone back to being friends. They knew deep down they wanted more but were both afraid to ruin what they had gotten back.

Jack broke up with Joey after he realized he was gay. When his father found out about this he sent him to a boarding school in Providence.

It was almost 8:30pm. There was at least three feet of snow outside and it was still coming down. Dawson’s parents were both away. Dawson’s dad had married Tamara and Mrs. Leery had married Bob. They both lived in Capeside but they were both away for the week in Vermont. Dawson’s parents were totally ok with the situation.

“More snow?” Joey groaned. “Anymore and they’ll be snow pouring in through the window.” She pointed to the infamous window she’d climbed in her entire life.

Pacey and Andie came through the door. Their hair was messed up and Andie was tucking her blouse as she was coming through the door to Dawson’s room. They had been “fooling around” in one of the guest rooms.

“Pace, your fly’s down,” Dawson said.

“Oh my God,” Pacey said and zipped it up. He sat down on the chair and Andie sat on his lap.

“It’s still snowing,” Pacey said surprised.

“Yep,” Dawson said. “The weatherman said there’s much more to come.”

“Hello?” a voiced called from downstairs.

“Up here,” Dawson said.

Jen and Abby came upstairs.

“Hey Dawson,” Jen said.

“Jen,” he said surprised. “What are you doing here?”

“Well, Abby and I were over at my house and the power went out so we came over here,” Jen said.

“Jen, you live next door,” Dawson said. “If your power went out then mi--,” All the sudden the lights went out. “mine would,” Dawson finished. “Well, there you go!”

“Dawson, let’s go find some candles,” Joey said.

“Ok,” he said.

They went downstairs and got candles.

“Well, if it isn’t the coo-coo bird and the dumb ass,” Abby said plopping down on the bed.

Pacey and Andie just gave her evil looks and Andie squeezed him tighter..

Jen sat down next to her on the bench by the window.

Joey and Dawson brought the candles up and lit them. He then put some batteried in his TV/VCR. He put in ET and watched it.

Jen and Abby did each other’s nails, Pacey and Andie started making out and Joey and Dawson watched the movie reciting all the lines. When it as over they just sat there.

“I am sooooo bored,” Abby said.

“Sorry, Abby we can’t entertain you 24/7,” Joey said.

“Entertain me, you call ET entertaining??” Abby said.

Dawson got a shocked look on his face but didn’t say anything about it.

“You know what we should do?” Abby said.

“I’m afraid to ask,” Joey said rolling her eyes. “Truth or Dare!” Abby said.

“What??” they all said. “No!” “C’mon, it’ll be fun!” Abby said.

“Abby, not again!” Jen said. “It was horrible last time we played.”

“C’mon, this time will be fun!” Abby said. “I’m not going to shut up ‘til we play.”

“Ok, we’ll play,” Pacey said. “Just to shut you up.”

Part II:

“Pacey, you go first,” Abby said.

“Ok, Dawson, truth or dare?” Pacey said.

“Dare,” he said.

“I dare you to kiss on the lips for one minute....Joey!” he said.

“What?” Dawson said.

“Pacey, don’t do this,” she said.

“Joey, a dare is a dare,” Pacey said.

The started kissing and getting into it. They continued kissing for one minute.

“Ok, Dawson you go,” Abby said. “Ok...” he said. “Abby, truth or dare?”

“Truth,” she said.

“Why do you torture us 24/7?” Dawson asked.

They all got intense stares on Abby.

“I don’t torture you guys, I joke with you,” she said.

“Yea, right,” they all said.

“Ok, my turn!” Abby said.

“Pacey, truth or dare,” she said.

“Truth,” he said.

“Pacey, well, as we all know you have boinked two people,” she said..

They all looked at her like what a bitch! “Yea....” he said.

“Well, who was better Ms. Jacobs or Andie?” Abby said with a devilish smile.

“What?” Pacey said. “I’m not anwsering that!”

“Why not?” Abby asked.

“Yea, why not?” Andie said. “Because I don’t know,” he said.

“What??!” Andie said with tears starting to well in her eyes. “You don’t know.”

Andie got up and stormed out of the room and hid in the guest room closet and started crying.

Pacey didn’t know she was there.

“Abby, what the hell is your problem???” Pacey asked.

“What do you mean?” Abby asked.

“What did I ever do to you to make you want to ruin what I have with Andie,” Pacey asked.

“Pacey, your a stupid, teacher screwing loser,” Abby said. “Give it up, Andie can do better.”

Pacey just sat back in his chair and thought about how he screwed things up with Andie.

Part III:

All of the sudden the power went back on.

“Oh, well, we best be on our way,” Abby said.

“It’s been a pleasure.”

With that note, Abby and Jen were out the door.

“I can’t stand either of them!!” Joey said.

“Me either,” Pacey said.

“Jen is ok, but she’s been a bitch lately,” Dawson said.

“I have to go find Andie,” Pacey said.

“What the hell kind of answer was that, by the way, Pacey?” Joey asked.

“Look, I didn’t know what to say,” he said. “I love Andie.”

“So, are you saying Tamara was better?” Dawson asked.

“No, Andie was better,” he said. “I don’t know how because it was her first time but she was.”

“It’s because you love her more, Pace,” Joey said.

“Yea,” he said. “I do.”

Pacey ran all over the house until he reached the guest bedroom. He opened the door and Andie was asleep on the ground curled up in ball, tears stained her face. Pacey kissed her and she woke up instantly.

“Pacey,” she said. “Don’t!”

“Andie,” he said. “I need to talk to you.”

She got up off the ground and sat down on the bed next to her.

“Andie, I’m sorry about what happened in there,” he said. “I didn’t know how to say what I wanted to say, so I just blurted something out.”

“Ok,” she said.

“Let me tell you the truth,” Pacey said.

“Ok,” she said.

“Andie, I love you more than life itself,” he said. “When we had sex it was amazing because I had never loved someone so much.”

“With Abby’s idiotic question everyone expected me to say Tamara because she had more experience but Andie, it was you.”

“What?” Andie said.

“Andie, I love you a hell of a lot more than I loved Tamara and that’s what made it so special.”

Andie got tears in her eyes but they weren’t tears of sadness, they were tears of joy.

“I love you that much too,” she said and started kissing him passionatly on the bed.

Meanwhile, in Dawson’s room, Joey and Dawson were watching the Weather Channel to see what was up with the snow.

“The snow will stop shortly after midnight,” the weatherman said.

“What time is it Jo?” Dawson asked. “11:30,” she said tooking at her watch.

“Good, it will stop soon!” he said.

“Dawson, can I ask you a question?” Joey asked.

“Sure, about what?” Dawson said.

“About our kiss during truth or dare,” Joey said.

“What about it?” he asked.

“Did you feel anything?” Joey asked.

“Maybe,” he said. “Did you?”

“Maybe,” she said.

“I did,” Dawson said. “I felt the intense feeling I got when we were going out.”

“Me too,” Joey said. “I feel the same way.”

“Jo, do you want to get back together?” Dawson asked shyly.

“I was hopping you’d say that!” Joey said.

They started kissing on the bed with the snow falling on the world around them.
