Disclaimer: Kevin, I give you all omage for the magnificent idea of Dawson's Creek. I am only using them for my own enjoyment. Don't sue me please! Only $28 more and I'm out of debt with my mom!!! I also don't own "Together Again" that groovy Janet Jackson song from Homecoming '98. (Which didn't resolute in my heart being broken as yesterday's dance did.)

Author's Notes: This is a short and sweet story about Andie and Pacey. Hallie will be in this story. If you don't read my P/J series, you wouldn't know that Hallie is Dawson's cousin from Hollywood (who's a big star there also) and Taylor is her best friend. Plus D/J are together.

TOGETHER AGAIN
By Brooke

"We were sitting there on the edge of Dawson's bed, watching "Titanic" with Dawson and Joey. It was only the 5th time I'd seen it but Andie wanted to watch with ME so I thought I'd be tolerant. Then she turns to me and says,'We're exclusive right? I mean, I don't have to worry about you running off with some cheerleader/rocket scientist, right?' Then I crack some joke, which I now see was TOTALLY inappropriate, and she's GONE! Like that. I must have been sitting there stunned for a long time because when Dawson and Joey came up from air, they asked where she was," Pacey said, exasperated.

Hallie had listened patiently to him for a long time. 2 hours to be exact. She glanced at her watch. 4:01 A.M. This really didn't seem like the same guy she'd known since she'd spent that first summer in Capeside 10 years ago. According to Pacey, he'd gone home in a daze at 11:00 P.M. and just sat there for about 3 hours. Hallie had gotten home at 1:00 A.M. from seeing the late screening of "Varsity Blues" (which her boyfriend Bret had snuck them in to see since he worked there) at the Rialto with Taylor and gone to bed (after missing her curfew by two hours).

Then, at 2:00 A.M. Pacey had climbed in her window and layed out his sob story for her.

"Well, is the patient ready for my analysis?" asked Hallie.

"Yes, you are Dawson's relative."

"Do you want her?"

"What?"

"Pacey, you heard me. Do you, Pacey Marc Witter, want Andie, um.." Hallie stopped.

"Andie Melanie McPhee. Isn't that one of most beautiful names ever?" he asked, distracted.

"Okay, I'm gonna take that momentary lapse of your real personality as a yes," she replied, rolling her eyes.

"Pacey, why couldn't you just tell her a week ago? When it was Christmas. That's the best Christmas present a girl can get, you know."

"So you want Andie as your one and only girl, correct?" Hallie asked again.

"Well, besides you..."

"Aww, how cute," Hallie said sarcastically. "Jokes got you here- girlfriendless and miserable at 4 A.M. in the first place. So you want her as your girlfriend?"

"More than that. I, I..." Pacey was hesitating.

"You?" Hallie prompted, knowing what was coming. (Hallie's so SMART.)

"I love her, Hals. I truly do."

"Pacey Witter settling down. Amazing."

"I can't wait to tell her. I have to go now."

"Um, Pace? I hate to be the one to be checking in with reality but it's snowing and 4:30 A.M. These factors may counteract on your attempts."

"No," he said. "I have an idea. And you are helping me. Get dressed. We have places to go."

******************************************* Andie McPhee woke up in a start. She could have sworn she heard a pound on the window. She glanced at the clock. 5 A.M. An hour and a half until she had to get up. She tried to go back to sleep but she couldn't stop thinking about Pacey. It was a good thing she'd never told him that she'd fallen in..... THUMP!

There's the sound again! she thought. She got up and looked out the window. She squinted through the icy panes. Who was that and what had they done? She unlocked her window and stck her head out. She started to smile at what she saw.

Written carefully, in footprints in the snow, was ANDIE MCPHEE I LOVE YOU FORGIVE ME. Pacey was standing next to it, looking sheepish. Hallie was on the other side of the phrase, laughing outloud. She stuck her head out even farther and saw what the noise had been. The two had thrown snowballs at her house.

"I love you too, Pacey! And forgive you!" she said. She closed and locked her window and ran downstairs to let them in.

She threw the door open and Pacey kissed her. "Come on. I'm gonna take my two girls to breakfast." They held hands and started out.

"Wait! I'm in pajamas!" she said.

Hallie and Pacey looked at each other misheviously. "Look at us Andie!" Hallie said.

Andie looked at them, Pacey in plaid Joe Boxer pants and Hallie in blue Old Navy ones with snowmen.

She linked her arms through Pacey's. "Let's go."

"I know exactly were we can go to! It's this great little place...." Hallie started. She knew they weren't listening (No one ever listens to the smart one) but it didn't even bother her.
