Part 3

“So, anyways, Daddy took us to see the fireworks on the Fourth of July. They were so pretty, I’ve always loved fireworks, though they were probably better up here. . .” Andie rambled on and on, she had so much to tell Pacey.

The two were up in Andie’s bedroom. Pacey was stretched across the bed, while Andie was busy putting some things away. She glanced over at Pacey. He was just staring at her, just listening to the sound of her voice.. She could tell he wasn’t taking it in.

“ . . .And so then I met up with this really hot biker named Viper, and I’m pregnant with his son. Isn’t that great?” She tested him in the same sing-song tone.

“mm-hmm.” Pacey seemed to agree. “Hmm? What?” He wondered if he had heard what Andie had said correctly.

Andie smiled and leaned over to give him a kiss. “Nothing. Oh, God, I’m so happy to be back here with you. I’m just waiting for someone to wake me from this dream”

“Me too, Andie, It’s so great to see you again.” He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her onto his lap. “But you don’t need to worry, it’s not a dream. We’re together again, and nothing’s gonna keep us apart.”

“I love you so much, Pacey” Andie whispered.

“I love you too, McPhee.” Pacey kissed Andie passionately. “So, what do you feel like doing? I feel like having a party, we need to celebrate.”

Andie smiled. “ I don’t know, I kinda feel like just staying here with you . . . alone.”

“Oh, really?” Pacey gave her a cocky grin, one that Andie loved so much, and had missed all summer. Her heart melted.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. “Andie!” Jack called from downstairs, “Get down here, you have a welcoming committee!”

Andie smiled, “So much for being alone.” She was dissapointed, but excited to see her friends again.

Pacey kissed her again. “We’ll just have to wait till later on tonight.”
