Animals Are Cool!!
--in memory of Wackyduck--
Even as a student at UT Austin, I did what I could for any critter I saw. This is a picture of a typical evening at the Turtle Ponds behind the main building. I would bring food and water for the birds and squirrels so they would have a safe place to eat and drink.
This is my kitty, Chat (pronounced Shot). She is 9 years old, but is still my baby!!
These are my 3 other ducks, Duck, Anjon, and Malibu, before they got their green heads. They are waiting patiently for me to finish filling their pool.
This is Duck and Malibu enjoying themselves IMMENSELY in the pool a few minutes later.
Uh-oh, Anjon is cyber-mooning you all!!
This is Wackyduck (center of pic) and his buddy Bandit, both at approximately two weeks old. Wacky was killed by raccoons Dec. 13. He was 3 months old.
This is another pic of Wacky (right) and Bandit (left).
After the incident, we began trapping and relocating raccoons. This was our first customer.
