Johnny Peiz and The Mens Club was spawned after the unfortunate breakup of Loadmouth recording artist's Frank D. and The New Deal. Jesse Jamz, an original member of Frank D. quickly picked up charismatic vocalist Sebastian Sparks at a local monster truck rally. Sebastian had been working as an intermission entertainer down at the Astrodome's famed monster truck show for over 3 years, and while the audience loved his soulful renditions of such old Metallica tunes as "Leper Messiah" and "Blackened", he was excited to join up with Jesse Jamz. It was at this point that both Jamz and Sebastian needed some raw Northern European talent, preferably from the English Isles, and they immediately headed for Glasgow, Scotland in late '96. In Glasgow, Jesse Jamz and Sebastian donned traditional kilts and marched through the town square searching for talented musicians. Off in the distance a haggard Andy McAllister sat molding a pair of wooden shoes (Apparently Andy had confused traditional Scottish footwear with that of traditional Dutch footwear...those crazy Scotsmen), and he heard the clamor from the center of town. Andy informed them that he could beat the living hell out of a sturdy drum set, and he immediately joined the fledgling group. The band still needed a bass player, and since Derek Smalls was busy with his Jazz/Blues Exploration project, the group decided to try the Irish countryside. Traipsing through the pristine green pastures of Ireland, the three unruly lads stumbled upon another more unruly lad (I say he was more unruly because his hair was, and still is, by far the most unruly of the group). This unruliest of chaps was none other than Matt McClellan. Well aware of the dangers that faced him in Ireland (the I.R.A., potato famine, rabid sheep, etc.) Matt decided to learn the bass, a talent that would give him a spot in one of the most influential bands ever to roam the planet. The band, now in full form, headed back to Houston, Texas to excite audience after audience of faithful fans.
THE SONS OF FRANK D ARE BACK WITH A VENGEANCE.
