About my oldest son

This is my first born son, Michael Casey and his lovely bride Cheryl Renée. They were married July 16, 1994. The ceremony was in Kingwood, Texas at the Little Church in the Woods and the reception was at the Kingwood Country Club.

Michael was born May 17th in Glendale, California. He weighed 10lbs.4ozs. and was 23" long. We took him home 2 days later to 801 No Lacey Santa Ana, Calif. We lived there for 6 months until his dad entered the Army. Michael and I moved to Hayward, California with my parents while his daddy did basic training at Ft. Ord, California. We were only 90 miles away. We visited him on week-ends.

Michael grew up an Army brat, living in California, No. Carolina, Berlin and Texas. He played football and graduated from Judson High School in 1991.

He attended Southwestern Assembly of God Bible College where he met his lovely wife. Cheryl was born April 13th and has lived all over the world. She graduated from SW Assemblies of God Bible College, this past January. She majored in business. We're all so proud of her. I'm so thankful Michael and Cheryl found each other.

        

Michael means Godliness. Lifetime scripture: I Timothy 4:8 "Godliness is benefical in every way; it holds promise for this present and for the future life." Casey means Brave Protector. Lifetime scripture: I Thessalonians 5:6 "Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."
Cheryl means Womanly. Lifetime scripture: Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." Renée means Born Anew. Lifetime scripture: Psalm 119:174 "I long for Thy salvation, O Lord; Thy law is my delight."
