From a conversation with Bob Maledon of Auburn Hills, Mich (12 Jun 2002) - Johannes and Catharina (Doerzaph) Maledon came to America about 1832. He has not found any record of exactly where or when. Their daughter Barbara was born in Buffalo, New York in 1833.
