Salt'n'Pepa(Norman Smiley & John Franklin Kemper Jr.) - Salt'n'Pepa was a surprise to everyone in the sport when they joined up. After Booker T & Norman Smiley's recent tag title win, Booker T got hit by a Semi-Truck driving in Juno. Booker T died, and Smiley had a problem..No partner. While mourning his partner's death, he was still forced to defend his titles. John F. Kemper Jr. stood up and volunteered to be his partner. Suprisingly, he and Smiley hit it off perfectly. They had some tag team work, that all others wanted. They worked great together in the ring. They kept those tag straps, and everyone wanted them. They defeated all big or small that came at them. Most with virtual ease, but some were a little tougher. Salt'n'Pepa held the tag belts longer than anyone in R.W.F. History, holding them almost an entire season before Smiley got hurt in a singles match..and J.F.K. had to find a different partner. During that reign, there was talk of them being the greatest tag team ever. At the time, everyone thought the Scorpians(Shosoru Iekea/Shosoru Kata) was. Well, guess who stepped up. In a match that millions watched, Salt'n'Pepa defeated the Scorpians. It was a great match. One thing to be said though, Scorpians were not in their prime. I would've loved to see the match if they were, but I'm not sure if even the Scorpians could've beat Salt'n'Pepa. They were just too damn good. I'm sure sooner or later, this tag team will actually be inducted into the Hall of Fame...along with J.F.K. being in their already. How can you hold a team like this out? If Smiley hadn't got hurt, I believe that Salt'n'Pepa would've held those titles til they retired. There were other tag teams who were dominating, obviously..the Scorpians, the Hounds of Hell(Memnock/Caladan), Blood & Magic(X & Merlyn), Eliminators(Darius Brooks/Grayson), and G.S.N./Seether. But, none had domination like Salt'n'Pepas.
