John Franklin Kemper Jr. vs. Eddie Kruger - These two won feud for so many reasons. These two brawled from their rookie season, til they headlined Robomania. Alot of you don't realize how important headlining Robomania is. It's the greatest honor, as the greats get to headline. Robomania I was headlined by Shosoru Iekea vs. Surf Cowboy, after Ieakea pulled off an upset against Caladan. Robomania II was headlined by "Luscious" Luke Pinnick and Arcane, which Luke came out on top for the World Title. Robomania III was a battle between Dutch Destroyer and Memnock, which Dutch came out on top for the World Title. Robomania IV was Dusty Collins vs. Destroyer in a great battle, Destroyer proved his worth winning the World Title. Robomania V was their year. It was a 6 way rumble, elimination style. Where it came down to Kruger & JFK..they battled all over the arena only for J.F.K. to win the World Title..but what a great event. That was just a taste of how important this feud was. They fought in some of the most grueling matches ever. Most of the matches weren't for a title, just for respect. They were like battles to prove their worth to each other, and everyone else. They both wanted so bad not to lose, they'd have broken bones..but not give up. They'd finish a match if it meant a Concussion, and possible time off from R.W.F. It was all about beating the other man. They hated each other so much that they tried to kill each other everytime they stepped into the ring. They had intensity that made the crowd go wild for both men. They ended up having a kinship from trying to hurt each other so much. They became friends, and tagged up with the Tag Straps for a bit. They still had their great matches, just no matter how bloody or tattered they were they hugged after the match and limped off. They had a feud that was to stand against all other feuds. J.F.K. came out with 4 wins and 3 losses in this feud. But, I can't say that either won it. They just clicked in the ring. They could steal the show at any card, and could hardly ever be backed up after a match. They were truly, truly...Legends of the Sport. Even though Kruger's career ended too early, after winning the R.W.F. World Title twice. He was still a legend, and after J.F.K. did about everything you can do..his career ended in the ring. Even though J.F.K. is the only one in the Hall of Fame right now, you might eventually see Kruger who knows. But, Kruger was never about the spotlight anyway. These guys won match of the season 2 or 3 times, but they deserved an award everytime they stepped into the ring. I don't know of 2 men who put their bodies on the line as much as John Kemper and Eddie Kruger. Both these mens dedicated their heart and souls to the R.W.F. We will never forget their feuds, as they may have held up the R.W.F. for a few years. Merlyn vs. Destroyer - In a big upset Merlyn vs. Destroyer beat out Caladan vs. Memnock and JFK vs. Eddie Kruger. It was an upset but after thinking about it, I could see alot of reasons why. This had all the makings of a great feud from point one. Merlyn had wrestling ability which for a rookie was amazing. The R.W.F. was in a bad way. Caladan, Memnock, Zapp, "Luscious" Luke Pinnick, Arcane, and Shosoru Kata..all gone. They were looking for a superstar. Druid & Marcus Alen stepped up at first, and looked to be a great feud before both men left mysteriously. This left R.W.F. in turmoil. Destroyer stepped up with a great surprising record. He came off a good season, receiving most Hardcore of the season. But, this was not expected. JFK & Eddie of course went on to feud. Dusty Collins was another surprise to shoot to stardom. But, a rookie by the name of Merlyn was showing great ability in the ring. He came from nowhere, win after win. Finally he came against Destroyer in what was set to be destruction by Destroyer. Merlyn upset him after interference. The crowd was shocked, later..they wrestled again and shocking enough. Merlyn beat him again. It was also by interference, but that has never mattered in the R.W.F. The only thing that mattered is a star was born. A rookie with the only 2 losses in that season so far against Destroyer's R.W.F.'s current number one man. Destroyer was outraged, but couldn't keep his mind on the rookie as Blue Blazer Jr.(Later to be found out as Mangahaus) was on a rampage and wanted the Destroyer. After a no-contest against Blue Blazer Jr. Destroyer was knocked out the KOTF, and Merlyn survived to the Final 8. Where he wrestled Xavier Channel, another promising rookie. X won it after a rollup shocking the R.W.F. World. Merlyn flipped and beat the hell out of X, causing him not to be able to go on. X beat Merlyn for the World Title, but left the KOTF for Dusty Collins to walk through. Destroyer got past his Blue Blazer Jr. feud, and looked back to the point at hand. A smart mouthed rookie, who was undefeated against him. In the next few weeks to come, Destroyer tried and tried to get a piece. Come to find out Kristian "Merlyn" Armstrong was the Australian Outlaw's little brother. This explained alot, as the kid had talent and was very..very underhanded. Destroyer finally got his wish, as these two finally got to go at it. It was a good match, but Destroyer had the upperhand most of the time..and finally got his clean win as the match ended. Destroyer went on to be inducted to the Hall of Fame, and break the wins record that season with 25 wins. No one thought anyone could take 2 wins against Destroyer, but Merlyn did. Destroyer only lost 4 times that season and won about everything you could. But, Merlyn proved to be a force in the R.W.F. before dissapearing he became one of the greats by winning a King of the Forest. Both these guys careers could've went different directions if not for meeting each other. So, in turn I wouldn't call this an upset..just a realization.
