Thoughts on Tempations and Trials

Happy the man who holds out to the end through trial! Once he has been proved, he will receive the crown of life* the Lord has promised to those who love him. No one is tempted is free to say,"I am being tempted by God." Surely God, who is beyond the grasp of evil, tempts no one. Rather the tug and lure of his own passion tempt every man. James 1:12-14 My brothers count it pure joy when you are involved in every sort of trial. Realize that when your faith is being tested this makes for endurance. Let endurance come to its perfection so that you may be fully mature and lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4 I have been reading article on temptation, and trials. Even I have been face with temptations, and trials. I have heard if you feel tempted, and this is a way is to avoid temptation, is do not put yourself in the position where you might be tempted. For instance, if you feel like you gonna gamble all your money away, do not go to the Casinos. This is just an example, to be ware of how we can prevent sin from happening. Another way is to stay away from sin. Ask God to help you or us in tempation, well we feel so weak like we gonna give in, ask him to help us to stand in what we believe. Put on the armor of God, so we can stand against the wiles of the devil. Praying helps too, and reading his word. Resist the devil and he shall flee. James 4:7 Blest are we who hold out to the end of trial, for God will bless us with the crown of life. It is pure joy when we hold out to the end. Lord, I just pray for those who are expriencing temptation and that you will be strong in them, and that they will turn to you, and you will help them to hold fast to their beliefs in you. Lord, may we put on the armor of God, in order to be resist the wiles of the devil, may we be enlighten by your Holy Word, and guidance of your Holy Spirit. Thank you for all the trials we endure, for it is pure joy. We grow and mature in you as we trust in you. In your name Jesus I pray amen. HOME NEXT
