The Well-Known, Oft-Seen Promotional Shot Only four people in this cast shot are in their final design (Anakonda, Willy, Ikira, & Queen Tatania). As you can see, Jack has short dark hair and an outfit that looks to have a lighter version of Machestro's breatplate. I'm guessing the brunette in blue next to Tatania is Rozalyn. And Mick is blonde. Disturbingly blonde. As is "Look, season two Jonny Quest from TRA is making a cameo!" blonde. Shame this is the most seen screenshot of X9 on the web.
Design Poses for a Machina Soldier, Anakonda, and Mick Don't ask me why these three were grouped together, but since it features my two favorite characters, I'm not complaining. I really like the pose on Ana, with her slingshot. Also, Mick seems to be brooding; "brooding" and "Mick" don't really belong in the same sentence. He's not a brooding guy (thank God).
Close-ups of the CGI/Cel-shaded Art from the Above Picture Man, even if that expression for Mick is wonderful, the cel-shading is still very, very freaky. (I'm not a big fan of CGI.) Still, good to know he wasn't brooding, and it features the CLOD! I love the CLOD! Shame that the rest of the cel-shaded models weren't included. The thought of a cel-shaded Rosalyn fascinates me, in a sort of "Manos", Torgo-y, horrifying way.
Screenshots. These were found on Toonarific Database, not the Google search. There's no shots of Mick, but I figured I'd add them anyway.

Machestro glowering
Ana talking to Jack
Willy, Ikira, & Ana (in disguise) (Question: If Willy's there, where's Mick? If he strays too far from Willy, he's liable to do something stupid and get arrested.)
Queen Tatania
King Renard
Another view of Renard, with his spider-like headset
Jack onboard the Scout Glider And doesn't he look upset! Someone must've called him "boy" again. Anyway, this pic was a gift from George Fergus, the Epguides editor in charge of X9 info.
A Maze of Some Sort with the Logo I have no idea what this could possibly be, but since it looks neat & is Xyber 9-related, here ya go.
And now, a very, very special pic. So special, it gets a thumbnail.
This is the best picture of Jack & Ana EVER! And now I know who drew it and why it was so familiar. This was found at a gallery of Adam Hughes pin-ups. Mr. Hughes is probably best known, at least to me, for his work on Top Cow's Tomb Raider series. Some are of his superhero work, Top Cow & otherwise, but the recurrent theme is busty ladies. How this got in there I have no idea, but thank goodness it did!
Added 6/25/04:
A mouse pad I won on eBay. Proof that I'm a compulsive type collector.
A printer's copy of a gateway ad, the X9 section. Again, an eBay find; this was the copy sent to comic/magazine publishers for use in one of the folding ads found on inside covers featuring the fall '99 line-up.
The design process for page 1 of the comic. Found at artist studio Draxhall Jump's webpage via Google Image Search. Oh, and here's the one for page 2.
The cover to Fox Kids Magazine, Fall 1999. Looks familiar, huh?
A toy line ad. Which I love because it features my two favorite vehicles.
Part of an article, a series description. Almost all of FK's art wasn't of the finished designs. Strange.
Xyber answers kids' letters. Sorry, I thought this was cute.
Part of a preview schedule ad. Very curious - what caused the back-up in episodes shown? Oh, right, I forgot; it was an original product, so FK was trying to kill it. They just forgot to change the magazine content.
Finally, a personal coup de grace: Page one of the FK Fall '99 comic! And for ease of reading, page two. Kept nice and big for ease of reading. I don't particularly care for the art, but it's only a two-page quasi trailer.
