THE MOLE: HOW YOU COULD HAVE KNOWN!

EPISODE ONE

In episode one, the two moles were chosen for the game.  Justin, a 20 year old student from Victoria.  Also the host for the third series.  And Daniel, an 18 year old student also from Victoria and runner-up in series one.

EPISODE TWO

They start to keep track of their events of sabotage in a mole diary.

"As the MOLE well I’m THE MOLE"

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Daniel's Diary
15/02/2001

About to do my first sabotage and put something into one of the passwords for the door.  My sabotage: using a bad password.

Justin's Diary
16/02/2001

11:00am - Good luck team! Ok, first things first the, first challenge. This one appears to be a very easy one to sabotage mostly due to the very nature of it, BUT I think I’ll wait to sabotage it, just until I get an e-mail from all the other contestants (just so they can’t pin point me!)

12:24pm - Well, Well, Well, someone is trying to form an alliance with me, Isaiah is suggesting that we complete the questionnaires together, looks like a possible first victim... but then again he might be useful to remove suspicion for my actions onto him. Still not much communication about the bomb challenge, this is also to The Mole’s advantage...

2:33pm - Looks like trouble on the horizon for the contestants as THE MOLE has just caused a failure. Veronica demanded an explanation, but none was forth coming from anyone. Everyone seemed very hopful when Veronica announced success but then everyone dropped like a stone when they found out that they had failed the challenge because of a saboteur.

Justin's Diary
17/02/2001 10:51am

The Group seems to have completed the first challenge, but little do they know THE MOLE has been a busy little MOLE and has been submitting various passwords to different doors.

Justin's Diary
18/02/2001 11:00am

Well, I was rather cruel in the previous challenge so this time I might go a little easier on them. For this challenge we have to do one of four challenges. I’ll probably complete the top one, just to throw them off the track and make me appear to be the "helpful contestant"

Daniel's Diary
18/02/2001

Just did a bit more mole activity, sent a message to everyone saying that we will give the task to whoever is the first person to send in saying they can do a task. This then may mean they do it and are exempt from doing another challenge, which means they could be the only one's with a a scanner and sound recorder and cannot do all the other second parts of the tasks, that have not been done. Do u get it?

Justin's Diary
19/02/2001 4:44pm

Well, I think the team is going extremly well at this challenge and as such I think it’s time for some creative interpretation (or from a MOLE perspective breaking) of the rules by THE MOLE. If I vote for one person to be exempted from a challenge, then they can’t win the free pass, SO I wonder what would happen if SOMEONE MYSERTERIOUSLY voted for everyone?

Well logically no one can receive the free pass as everyone has receive an exemption!   Costing them the free pass is the most important thing in this challenge, the money is less important...this time. In addition by helping complete the challenge and win the money I may help throw people off the track.

Justin's Diary
20/02/2001 1:35pm

We seem to be having problems working out who’s doing what and whose not, do we?  Perhaps a little handiwork from THE MOLE? The extra "challenge" that the host has given us (The Post-a-thon) seems to be distracting people from the job at hand.

The Current Mole Suspicions: Right now a lot of people are suspecting either Toni (due to lack of communication with the rest of the team) and Steve (I really don’t know why) are THE MOLE. I don’t think I’m currently under any more suspicion than the other players, but I’m still keeping my sabotage to minor things e.g. strange and unidentifiable breaking of the rules.

Isaiah is currently one person to watch out for. Today I was chatting with him about our "alliance" when strangely Veronica happened to ask if I was in a alliance. I told her NO. I also informed Isaiah of this fact as well. He then reminded me to keep the alliance secret...

Another strange thing that happened today, Ithomas asked if I was from the UK, was this a trap to trick me into lying? I don’t know but I told the truth and that seemed to satisfy him. I’m going to try and lure Ithomas into elimination at the end of this episode, his questions are making me a little uneasy..

Things to note about the group: Veronica seems to be one of the main messengers in the group (along with Steve) I think that if she were to be eliminated the group would lose some of it’s stability. Dave (shark_white_great_the) doesn’t appear to be helping much, perhaps he is trying to attract mole suspicion? One person that does appear to be taking a leading role is Steve he’s a good leader figure, which is what I will be exploiting...

Daniel's Diary
20/02/2001

First sabotage was to take a long time to talk to my fellow teammates. Secondly with defusing a bomb, i put in a fake password into the last line. Not even my own password. Then I didn't even try my own password. But my team was too eager and failed anyway. Then i took a long time to get my profile up, to make my team think of me as someone trying to look suspicious. Or a mole.
I sent a message to the team telling them they should hurry up with the next challenge and get over the last challenge, from them off the scent as they may think i want to get it done. Also wrote the next people to write in should get a task, so that we couldn't work out who is best at what, nor could we do the fourth task if someone can do everyone but only has to do one. Then i was given a task by daltonic, who is trying to act suspicious. Task one, i took a photo of me wearing cow slippers holding a sign that reads "2nd series the mole online" instead of what was asked being "Series II" Finally with the posts, some of them were not necassirly about the other team, its up to the host how they want to handle that.

Justin's Diary
22/02/2001 10:49am

They actually won a challenge this time...I did submit my own picture, to help throw them off the track but, obviously my attempts at confusing the group as to which tasks had been completed failed... Oh, well.  I guess the only thing I'm annoyed about is that Toni will be gone first which means everyone else is safe...for one more episode at least...After watching THE MOLE last night I'm pleased to say I've got someomore ideas of how to distract/sabotage the team..let's see if they fall for it...

EPISODE THREE

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Justin's Diary
23/02/2001

One contestant eliminated!!! but I'm not as happy as I usually would be as Toni was eliminated because she had nothing to do with the game what so ever!!

Daniel's Diary
24/02/2001

At the moment i haven't been doing too much to sabotage. With this latest challenge i could see it being a bit too obvious if i stuffed it up, and if i did i don't think it would matter too much to the sound the musical experts hear. Also at the start is where the greatest suspicions and ideas about the mole, that is why i am trying to make people think of others and get them off my tail. Most people won't change during the course unless something major happens, therefore stay low and do most of the sabotaging later.

Justin's Diary
24/02/2001 9:16pm

There appears to be disention growing in the group...exactly what I can take advantage of. Dave has taken it upon himself to select the "music experts" for the next challenge and has unknowingly selected THE MOLE, and the other contestant (Veronica) has very little knowledge of music...I'm just waiting for them to try and help me and Veronica and me solve the final song.

FURTHER MOLE NOTE: I have read the challenges for this episode in advance and have found a way to sabotage challenge 3: THE KNOCKOUT QUIZ, what if somehow THE MOLE managed to submit all false answers without being identified? RESULT: Instant failed challenge!!!

Justin's Diary
25/02/2001

10:32am - So the host wants proof that Napster is illegal??? then here it is!! http://www.newmediamusic.com/ps/napster_81400.html. Sorry contestants, no more money for this challenge!!!

9:45pm  - It looks a little like someone has been sabotaging the Alpha group's e-mail list...THE MOLE strikes again!!!

Daniel's Diary
25/02/2001

I knew what the answer was to puzzle 1 straight away, i have done this puzzle before. Just waiting for Sharna to respond to see what she thinks, what i think i will do, is that because i know i will try them believe it is something else, and make them send it in, so i am still here to stuff up the others and also to look better to the other contestants in my group.

Justin's Diary
26/02/2001 12:49pm

The music challenge has been failed, because of Steve's breaking of the rules!! I wonder what this will do for morral, anyway things just get better for the mole, already I have already eliminated 3 contestants from the KNOCKOUT QUIZ using a fake e-mail address and just to put the icing on the cake I attached Blake's name to the e-mail just to throw some suspecion on him...and a further note I have just received a e-mail from the host with the song we need to work out the lyrics for..I have been able to convince the other contestants I know nothing about music. I think it's time for THE MOLE to remain silent..

Daniel's Diary
26/02/2001

This is much harder than i thought. Why? Everybody is trying really hard to win the challenges, only Nat Freeman and Baskio, both from series one, seem to be the only one's who are stand offish and not trying as hard to cause suspicion.

IN RESPONSE TO THE EPISODE THREE MOLE CAM QUESTION:
most valuable in a mole sense, nick because he hasn't done much and suspicion could be on him. Yves and Sharna send lots of emails and really want to win challenges and quickly, it is hard for a mole to keep up.

Justin's Diary
27/02/2001 9:32pm

Yet another success for the mole. The group failed the knockout quiz without completing a single puzzle and the board game team also lost against the host, oh well better luck next time! In addition to the money being lost, BLAKE is trying to explain to the rest of the group why he lost them money he is claiming to be completly innocent, which of course he is, but still, it has thrown A LOT of mole suspecion in his direction. Also today the questionaire was released, now I really start to eliminate people from the game! I'm also going to try something different, I've asked the host to post a "Message from THE MOLE" this one's just to give them something to think about..must keep up the mind games it helps throw the group off track..

Who do people think is THE MOLE? After today's results, I think a lot of suspecion has fallen on BLAKE, after he claimed innocence for submitting the answers for the KNOCKOUT QUIZ. I think people distrust him now..one person was even asking him" I'm sure the host wouldn't have accepted an answers for another e-mail other than yours" but what if the host didn't check the e-mail address but just looked at the name in the "From" field..

Justin's Diary
29/02/2001 1:53pm

There are arguements galore in the group today BLAKE is trying to convince everyone that it wasn't him who sent in the answers. Unfortunetly it will still be to late for them to complete the knockout quiz in time. Dave has further commented that he will "kill" Veronica if we lose the "Next Line" Challenge. Could this be showing tension within the group? Could the team failures provide a pretense for more tension?

EPISODE FOUR

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Daniel's Diary
02/03/2001

Well this next challenge involving the passwords for Word, is looking good for me. No-one seems to have the first one. Everyone thinks Billy should have it seeing he is the first person but says he doesn't, we are yet to hear from everyone so we don't know yet. I told everyone i don't know what letter i am, but i do. Been sending personal emails to daltonique. He told me he thinks billy is the mole, and is glad i think the same way. But i never said i think he is the mole. All i said is what is with him? he seems suspicious. And tried to get Yves into his mind by telling him that i said at the last challenge (puzzles) we should all agree before we send in our responses. Bt Yves just sent it in, because he thought it was right. Except for one where Sharna agreed, but i didn't even though i knew it was right, and tried to convince them i saw that puzzle before. It didn't work. But after i saw he got the first one right, i sent in
an answer to it, i knew was right, after i said i didn't think i knew, but because he had already sent in an answer i could send in the right answer to sharna and yves and look like i was trying to help. I actually knew all the answers for our puzzles, but by saying that we should agree first then send it in, hopefully put suspicion on Yves as he just sent it in
without asking.

Justin's Diary
04/03/2001 3:45pm

The assignments look pretty easy this week so, I think it's time THE MOLE threw off some suspecion. Isaiah is currently having computer problems so he could be the next to go...as for mole activity this week I have been constantly trying in the scavenger hunt NOT to get correct links for the challlenge but Robbie keeps checking up on me!! So far though I don't believe that suspects that it's anything other than me not reading the challenge correctly. From mole activity there is also a chance that Robbie might fail the "OFF TARGET" challenge, I've been "helping" him work out how much money that the other team could have won but accidently I made a mistake... Last weeks "Message from the Mole" was to easy for them so this week I'm going to make it a harder puzzle...but this time I'll make the answer point at another contestant.  Of course after last weeks message a lot of people spent a lot of time trying to solve the riddle, in the hope of discovering my identity, more than actually helped complete the challenges!!

Daniel's Diary
06/03/2001

Last challenge, i showed my group what was in my word document with 15 minutes to go, i didn't bother trying to decipher it. I also asked lots of questions of the group questioning their playing of the game, throw them off my scent.

Daniel's Diary
08/03/2001

Did big sabotage by only sending in 2 URL's and one wasn't even allowed. I was told to send in some more. But made it seem like I wasn't on enough, or often enough. It seems I may have gotten away with it, with a couple of people especially Daltonic. Daltonic talks a lot to the group, as with Sharna and Billy. So I decided to make buddies with one. I chose Daltonic because he is about the same age and same name. As soon as i sent the first email to him, i think he has trusted me.

Also with the next challenge, choosing people in groups. 1 in first. 2 in second and 3 in the third. Has created much angst amongst the team, especially between Daltonic and Billy, and a little bit Sharna. It could send this team, and this game into a different position, that has yet to be seen. It wasn't seen in series 1 and yet to in series 2, it will be interesting.
It is also interesting the rest are quiet during this Yves and Nick. Nick is worrying me, playing the game totally different from last time, and I think he may be on to me for some reason. Also Billy is really annoying

EPISODE FIVE

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Justin's Diary
09/03/2001 10:38am

Robbie has to leave the group. I really didn't think that my little bit of sabotage would work, but obviously the false suggestions that I gave him for the OFF TARGET challenge were believed. Helping Robbie with that challenge was a MAJOR risk, if he had got the challenge right then it may have thrown a lot of suspecion on me for suggesting wrong answers, but now that robbie is gone, he can't tell the group of his suspecions about me, even if he does know it was me at all. Isn't it ironic that the former mole is himself a victim of THE MOLE.....

Justin's Diary
11/02/2001 5:25pm

Well, we have been issued with three challenges this episode and I have been nominated to help complete two of them. One of them involved finding a secret website. I completed that part of the challenge for them, Furthermore with the sniper challenge I have managed to work myself into being one of the people looking for the flags within the labyrinth....I'll have to be careful that they don't suspect me...

Justin's Diary
12/02/2001 7:30pm

The group continues to slip further and further under, as BLAKE has taken it apon himself to buy himself a free pass to the next episode just like Isaish did. This in turn has driven the group apart, as well as costing the group a further $30,000. As Steve said and I quote: "Yeah well let's just spend all our money so that a few people can get through to the end. If I get eliminated this week, I hope you lose to Beta team"

Well Steve may just get his wish and there are bound to be failures in this weeks challenges, the only problem that I could see with this is that BLAKE and ISAIAH may be given an even bigger clue that I am THE MOLE if they discover that I'm the only one who survives at the end of the series. I would hate it if I was left with those two twits.

Without those two buying free passes I'm sure I could have gotten rid of both of them by the final episode....one good thing to come out of this I'm almost sure to win the mole competetion for LEAST MONEY FOR THE TEAM. Well, unless the other mole does something major within the next
couple of episodes....

Daniel's Diary
13/03/2001

Billy's actions are good for me because he is pissing everyone off, they may not be able to think laterally about what i am doing.

Justin's Diary
13/02/2001 9:33pm

What can I say another questionaire completed and another contestant on the way out..it's a real shame that Isaiah and Blake can't be eliminated this episode, but their actions in buying free passes hasn't made them a lot of friends in Alpha Team...I'm curious to see what will happen to the group dynamics after these recent actions. I can tell that Dave and Steve are REALLY annoyed at Isaish and Blake after the money they cost them.

Justin's Diary
14/02/2001 7:30pm

it looks like we are going to fail the sniper challenge due to so constructive time wasting by THE MOLE....

EPISODE SIX

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Daniel's Diary
17/03/2001

Okay here we are, not long to go now. I was placed in a challenge to play Hangman with Dan
against Yves. I actually really wanted to win this challenge, because 2 people will leave if we lose and Yves will come back. Yves coming back means he can rule out who he thought the mole was, because he knows that is wrong, that is why i wanted Tim back. Also with 2 people leaving also means that those who stay are likely to have guessed me as the mole, now if they were at all unsure i was the mole before, they would be pretty confident i was now.

Justin's Diary
18/02/2001

It looks like war is about to break out in the ALPHA team. People are really upset that Robbie has a chance to get back in the game, and boy are they mass e-mailing the host to get him to change his mind. There all saying it's not fair that Robbie and Yves can work together to solve the challenge when they can't get help from the other team. Next they're going to say it's not fair that THE MOLE has been sabotaging the challenges BOO HOO!!!!!!

Daniel's Diary
18/02/2001

I think Billy knows its me, because 3 people from our group bought free passes, Dan, Sharna and Nick. Leaving Yves, Billy and I. Yves was eliminated. This meant Billy had to score higher than Yves, now he either guessed me or got lucky and got a few right. I don't think some of the others have worked this out as they keep saying he is lucky to be there, which he very well could be. I think he is lucky to be this far, i don't think it is because of his mental capabilities, thats for sure. Now I don't know who complained about Yves and Robbie coming back into the group, i am not sure whether this will be useful for me or not.

IN RESPONSE TO THE EPISODE SIX MOLE CAM QUESTION
I believe Nick and Billy will be there. Thats just a feeling i have. Last series when i thought Robbie was the mole, i wanted to be in every group he was in to see what he did. No-one has really always been with me, it has been very spaced out. For the reasons i have said before do i think Nick and Billy will get through.

I don't think Dan thinks I am the mole, because he put larger amounts of money on the challenges i am involved with, and less that Sharna and Billy and Nick were involved with. If he thought i was the mole, then he knows i am going to sabotage, therefore don't risk a large amount of money.

Justin's Diary
20/03/2001

Looks like one more victim coming up!! After the team successfully argued that the "NASTY REUNION" challenge was unfair, I managed to win a free pass AND cost the group $55,000. I think Mike wanted me to lose the challenge for the good of the team..I DON'T THINK SO MIKE. The Groups "kitty" stands at $175,000. As Cornelia of "The Weakest Link" would say "team that is simply not good enough! You try to win money not lose money...or do you like pocket change???"

Daniel's Diary
20/03/2001

I was very lucky to win that free pass. For Sharna's I thought, she would be about 5'8". So i took that as a lie, the others i stuffed up. I was lucky, as for the others, i must not have been thinking, but i sent in what i thought was correct. So for Dan i thought he was ranked 4th. I thought Billy was bisexual and Nick had won more than $5000 worth of prizes. I did Sharna's first then came back to the others, so again i was lucky i was wrong about Dan. The lies I think would be, Billy is not a model. And Nick doesn't know Natalie Imruglia. I don't know whether i would have got the free pass with this. But i do, and feel a bit stupid. Hey i almost sabotaged myself, what a bastard!

EPISODE SEVEN

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Justin's Diary
23/03/2001

I have to admit that this "FACELIFT" challenge is a bit silly, it takes WAY to much time to complete. As such, I may unwitingly attract suspcion just because I don't have the time to complete the challenge!!!

Who's being the most annoying person? Well, the most annoying person by a LANDSLIDE isn't even playing the game. THEVAMPIREDEVILSPIKE keeps messaging me that I am the mole. Maybe he's just trying to annoy me....besides he can only be taking a stab in the dark as to my identity. I have done nothing blatantly suspecious to warrent such a suspecion..... So who do I think is going to be the winner? I'd like to think that Steve might win after all he's put more effort into the challenges than anyone. I'm glad that Isaiah got eliminated last episode. He simply didn't deserve to remain in the game. The only reason he survived this long is that he bought free passes when he could, I wouldn't mind if Blake won either, but Steve deserves it more, but as the saying goes "life is rarely fair...."

Daniel's Diary
23/03/2001

This week, i was going to stop after the about $5000 in the deduction challenge, but i went to far and lost anyway, which was good for me, as it doesn't really look like my fault. Second challenge is one i don't really like. Plastic surgeon and critic, i nominated myself as the critic, as i told everyone i didn't know what was going on, and to a certain extent i didn't but i knew enough to be the surgeon. However Sharna is ill, and says she can't do any work ,and won't do any, so i may have to take up the position of surgeon and with only 2 days left, i may try and see if i can fail it by nit making the time deadline. I tried looking for eyes, nose etc, but cant find pictures of just these things. Anyway i don't really like this challenge. I still think Nick might be on to me. But then again im really just guessing, as i think billy has, i think he guessed me, and has stayed with me. I don't think he is smart enough to work out a game like this.

Justin's Diary
26/03/2001

WHO IS THE MOLE? The question that all the remaining contestants must answer before they have a chance of getting to the final episode. Do they know it's me? I don't know but even if they do one will still be eliminated for scoring the lowest on the mole questionaire. i have to say it's been a different experience betraying the group....certainly been an interesting game of cat and mouse between me and the contestants....Well it time to find out who will survive and who will get the axe....

Daniel's Diary
26/03/2001

With this latest challenge, Plastic Surgeon. I decided to make Sharna plastic surgeon. Sharna then got sick and said she couldn't do any challenges, so i decided to take my time. Make it look like I was doing a good job, by taking over the role of plastic surgeon, when i was supposed to be the critic. Took up more time asking what the role of plastic surgeon was. Nick told me. I decided take as long as I can to send in the photos of body parts. This was so we wouldn't get the extra $15,000, for doing the challenge earlier than ALPHA.

Then the pictures, are slight sabotage, while they may seem all off, there is a photo of a crocodile's nose, where Nick's photo is of a dinosaur. Also Billy is apparantly a model, so the women's face pieces can be construed for a model. So i am able to throw up all these things and make it look like no sabotage at all. Just Billy wasn't thinking.

EPISODE EIGHT

THE WEEK'S CHALLENGES:

Justin's Diary
"FINAL WORDS FROM THE MOLE"

Blake was the last to go. Now there are only three: A winner,a loser and me THE MOLE. Some final comments from THE MOLE.

It's been a great game to play and even better to be the Mole. I'm glad to say overall everyone played fair (yes including the MOLE) Some were better than others. Steve on the ALPHA team was truly the best person on our team. He was a very good leader, he always managed to organise
the group as soon as I confused it. Mike has always been sitting in the background helping when he needed to, but still keeping his eyes open.

So finally all of the team played well, some just didn't know enough about me to remain in the game.

To the winner from the mole......WELL DONE I never though anyone would catch me!!!!

Daniel's Diary
27/03/2001

Other things i have done, were put my name down for the 3rd series, even though i am going to have a break. Because people would think he has been a contestant and probably the mole, he's done everything. So to put them off, put my name down there, so it would look like i am still interested, and there is something i am still to accomplish.

Also in the mole poll, i am the only one who has put me down as someone they expect to win, if not people see me with no votes for a win, therefore with no votes it may well suggest i am the mole.

The last episode, lots of challenges, godd for a mole to broaden their horizon. For Hangman just playing out a draw. Knockout quiz, i quickly worked out the answer to the easier puzzle, so i got the right answer to make it look good for me, but at the same time took out the option for one of the others to complete the easier challenge, especially when i think i worked out the answer to no. 3. The Hunted, it is hard to choose an obvious place, but choosing A1 is about as obvious as u can get, so i stuck a flag there. Yes/No game, i gave the yes or no, to the opposite to what i thought.

And i also didn't divulge all information that what i have done in the challenges up to now, with other members in the group.

Daniel's Diary
30/03/2001

Last ever mole cam. I think. When we get back the other teams responses to our questions, I will try to suggest their mole is someone i don't think. Anyway, that is still to come. Sharna just sent me a message saying she has done her answers, she only sent them to us, not the host.
I am not going to tell her she should send them to the host. I won't say anything. In the Next Line challenge, i didn't finish off the line. I also thought if someone was unsure about me being the mole, i will look like i tried very hard, perhaps suggesting to that person i was a contestant who thought they knew who the mole was, and was just trying to put up the kitty. So i would have a better chance of winning against the other teams winner.

That is it for this challenge i am pretty sure. Not everything i have done as the mole, have i stated in these confession cams. I have don't quite a bit in some challenges and hardly a thing in others. If you wish to know if something i did was sabotage then just ask. I have enjoyed being the mole, it is different to being a contestant, probably for the thrill, being a contestant is better, but there is this pressure on you, to get no-one to know it is you.
At the start, i said to myself, right you have two people who were in the last series with me, i am going to play it different this time around, as a sort of double-bluff. Probably if they were not in it, i may have played it the same way i played last series, fairly quiet. Nick changed the way he played also, Nat no so much. I think i must have put Nat off, because she thought it was me last series, but i don't think she did this series.

It was fairly hard, because i couldn't really rely on others to do the stuffing up i was expecting. I thought a few may make it look like they were a real out there mole. But i felt everyone except Billy, tried their hardest to win the challenges, which made it harder for me.

Did the bickering and fighting in the group help the mole? Probably, get people's minds off, what the mole was doing, or what they weren't doing. Apart from some people, who just didn't get involved, and i don't think i would of if i was a contestant. It think it helped me at the time, but overall marginally.

I don't know where the other teams kitty stands at, but ours is very low, i am happy at this stage (before i knew what the final kitty was) where the kitty is. I am fairly positive it is below the other team's.

Doing the most inventive sabotage was hard. The challenges were hard to do inventive challenges, probably if i had my time again there were things i could probably do better, but i can't and i am pretty happy with my stuff-ups.

I worked out Billy must have guessed me as the mole, i assume sharna does, because i thought nick also knew. So there is points of for me as the mole.

Anyway, hopefully i did better than the other mole. My role as the mole, was full of bluff and double-bluff. Some may just take it on its merits, others may have read a lot into what each contestant was doing. Probably to the former, they would have made it further.

I want to say good luck to the remaining contestants, good luck to the other team's mole, whoever they may be.

Thanks to the host who made me the mole, i said the him/them, i would only play if i were the mole, i wasn't ready at that stage to play a whole game, with the possibility of losing in the final round, it is really quite devastating to make it that far, and lose because you forgot what went on earlier.

I am the mole. I am the traitor. I hope nobody hates me.

"The last confession of THE MOLE"

Well, the final questionnaire, previously eliminated contestants are beginning to ask who it was that betrayed them....they will know soon enough.

Being the mole was a totally different way of playing the game, it was a delicate balance. Trying to remain inconspicuous while sabotaging the assignments, not an easy thing to do.

As for the final three, Steve I hope you win buddy, and Mike good luck to you too...

May the best man  (or MOLE )win

THE MOLE.

THE FINAL WORDS BY STEVE - SERIES II CHAMPION

Hi Justin,

You played a great game as the mole.  Did you want to know why I suspected you?

1.  In the first episode, you asked too many dumb questions.  For example, you kept asking what do we do now, when it was obvious you had been to the website to read it in the first place.  I figured it took a little Web knowledge to find the game in the first place, but you were acting like it was your first experience on the internet.  Didn't compute.

2. In the defuse the bomb challenge, you sent a note saying you had been playing around defusing the bomb while Veronica was doing it...except, you sent that note well after my computer received the e-mail from Veronica telling people not to try anymore.  I figured that you must check your e-mail at the same time you log on, so why ignore a post from Veronica if you knew you had to check as we could only try once...made me very suspicious.

3. Of course, the knockout quiz.  It was inspired to send Blake's answers for him from a dummy account, but to me that narrowed the field down to You, Robbie (who I didn't think it was) and Blake (who I thought would have been very stupid to set himself up to take the fall like that).  So, you.

4. The mole clue: "Thanks to the Treachery of two others and me..." was referring to the two treacherous people as being Isaiah and Blake.  I knew I wasn't the mole, so that left you and Mike to consider.  Because Mike had definately not been responsible for the Knockout Quiz stuff-up, guess who that left.

5.  I deliberately teamed myself up with you in the 7th episode (the Plastic Surgeon Challenge) in order to eliminate Mike and Blake from my suspect list once and for all.  I did the work for you, you were on the net, and you still didn't send it.  That was the clincher.

There was more, but this was the real stuff which put me on to you.  You played the role very well, obviously more people suspected me as the mole too (but I only did one Mole like activity, that was when I didn't really help when Robbie was the MVP and the scavenger hunt challenge).  I was very suprised at this.

Well thanks for a great game.  I hope we all keep in touch, it's funny how an experience like this can make new friends.

Cheers, you bastard!  You could of at least let us make $300,000 out of a million! ;)

*grin*
