[12/07/01] Karmul's 1st Assignment! Go me! I promise updates should start picking up really soon. Especially with Christmas Break coming up, I should definitely find lots more time to reach a computer then. Ok, to get down to business. If you have been on top of things at this site, you will have noticed a change up in the news box that I didn't announce. You should also have read about a new Staff Member. Please welcome my friend Karmul! Currently he is in control of the Extra Features section. Moving right along...his first entry to the site. The beginning of the list of "Related Titles" under Extra Features. (Remember, the information is from him, not the design.) Expect more to come to that list soon. We will not rest until we have EVERY SINGLE BOOK EVER WRITTEN LISTED THERE! Errr...every book listed that is Tolkien Related. ::Looks around:: Well, that's all the damage I can do around this popcicle stand. Time to move on. My next update will definitely include the start of the "Official Art Gallery" with pictures by my favorite artist, John Howle. Tata! [12/02/01] Or So She Says... Ok, in "The Hobbit" under "Tolkien's Books" you will find that "Readers' Response" is now up. So, feel free to send in your own responses at any time. ^_^ I will get them up as soon as possible! Next we have two links that were added to the bottom under "Extra Features". One is "Related Titles" and that will be added to in the next update. The other is "Tolkien Stuff". ;) As I once said, the purpose of this site was for any information about Tolkien to be found. In that area I will eventually have EVERY Tolkien item ever made listed and whether it is available anymore or not and so forth and so with. If anyone would ever like to help with that, please feel free to send in the information. I have no real idea how it will be organized but...we shall see. I'm finished!! Ugg, well, I had intended to update at least by yesterday, but certain home events prevented THAT from happening. Nevertheless, I have managed to get up one new section of the site. Under "Tolkien's Books" The Hobbit is now accessable. Only the Synopsis and Rating are completed, however, be sure to note the left box that appeared relabeled "Tolkien's Books" above "Main Site Stuff". (The Rivan Codex by David Eddings) After having not updated within the space of a month (I'm just off by two days), in fact, I finally return with some grand news. First of all, as you can see, TTR has received a new grand look that I'm sure all of you will like far better than the last one. And this one, to me, has much more style and taste. Everything is not up yet, and not everything is finished. I might still have a few things that I will decide to change at the last minute, but then, I'm always doing that. *Sigh* It's the curse of a writer to try to improve things constantly!! Remember that some aspects will ALWAYS be changing, especially that big blue banner above labelled "Mini Articles". That will also one day get special attention so that there will be a link that will go to a special page filled with articles that go into further detail and some that weren't even posted that day. These will be changed without warning!! Next will be the announcing and introduction of TTR's first Staff Member, other than myself. Please meet Etched Chaos! He will be our Graphics Designer (the only at the moment) and the chances are very high that he will be made into the Graphics Engineer. Please, if you too are interested in becoming part of the Staff, JOIN NOW!! I have lowered my standards slightly until I get some good staff, but after that they will be heightened once again.
