Robert hadn't counted on Anna passing out, but when he saw her going down, he rushed over to her and caught her into his arms. In truth, he was just as taken aback at seeing her as she was seeing him. In shock that he was, he couldn't speak at first. He had been disappointed that she wasn't home when he first showed up and broke into the house through the secret passageway. He checked the house and nobody was home, so he went into the secret room and sat at the computer trying to find information on Jonas Trevers and several other people. He hadn't been expecting Anna to show up at all. It was such an ungodly hour, he figured that she was probably with Roy tonight.

And while that realization made his stomach twinge with jealousy, he felt at the same time better about it. Knowing that Caesar Faison was alive, he knew she would be safer with Roy then here on her own. But then she showed up out of the blue. He hadn't heard her come in, he was so busy concentrating on the computer at that time. But he heard her say something and he got up and came to the doorway cautiously. He knew that she would have a gun and he knew she would be ready to take him down. He also knew that her realizing that he was alive after all these years was going to be a huge shock. He held Anna in his arms and picked her up off the floor, he carried her over to the couch and laid her down. Checking her pulse and brushing the hair from her face. Five years later and she still took his breath away.

"Anna, Anna wake up" He whispered as he knelt down by her, he brushed her cheek with the back of his hand. Anna moaned as she started to come around. She opened her eyes and looked straight into his face and then suddenly the shock took over. She jolted up and jumped back away from him, not sure if she should believe that this was real. "Anna it's really me, I'm alive, I'm real." Robert assured her in a low voice so as not to startle her anymore then she was already startled. "Robert?" She whispered, voice cracking in emotions. Her breathing heavy as her eyes stung with tears. She leaned forth and hesitantly touched his face. When she felt his skin, she jerked her hand back and gave a sharp gasp sound as she covered her mouth. She sat for a couple of seconds, trying to comprehend all of this.

She could hear him breathing so he had to be real. After all, ghosts don't breath, or do they? She then took her hand and felt his face again, touching him, feeling him as the realization sat in with her. Overwhelming emotions poured out of her in streams of tears. "Oh my god Robert you're alive, you're really alive!" She screamed as she lurched towards him, wrapping her arms around him. Holding each other, smelling each other's scent as they embraced tightly and cried. Five years they had waited for this very moment, not knowing if it would ever truly come. And for the longest time it was as if time had stood still and the only beings that existed were the two of them. "Oh god Anna I've waited so long for this, to see you again, to hold you in my arms." Robert cried as he brushed her hair with his hand.

The embrace lightened some and they sat back and faced each other, faces wet with tears. "Oh god I just knew it, I knew you were alive!" Anna said to him as she wiped her face. Robert then suddenly remembered the urgency of why he was there in the first place. "Anna there is so much I want to say and so little time to say it." He said to her and she realized that something wasn't quite right. "What is going on? Was that really you at the ball tonight? Why didn't you guys come home if you were alive all these years?" Anna rapid fired her questions so fast that Robert had to stop and think for a second. "I'm not sure what's going on luv, that's why I'm here, we need your help." Robert stated to her as he helped Anna up so they could sit more comfortably on the couch. "We?" Anna asked, heart pounding.

"Yes, Luke and Frisco are alive too, and yes, that was us at the ball." Robert told her, knowing full well what was on her mind. "Oh my god!" Anna gasped, tears building up all over again at the realization. "Five years we all thought the three of you were dead, but Robert, I don't understand any of this, why did the WSB say that you guys were dead if you're not?" She asked as they sat facing each other on the couch holding hands. "Because I'm beginning to suspect that the WSB doesn't know that we're alive. There's something that I must tell you, it's going to shock you and scare you but you must know." He began to warn her, hating that he had to ever say his name. "What is it?" Anna pleaded, fearing the worst. "Caesar Faison is alive." He told her quite point blank and watched as the color drained from her face, her eyes widening. "He's what?" She whispered in shock, fear taking a strong hold of her heart.

"Anna I need you to just listen to me for a minute." Robert pleaded with her. Anna nodded her head, giving him the okay that he needed to continue. "For the past five years after the warehouse explosion, Luke, Frisco and I thought that the WSB were keeping a hold on us for their protection. But some things have come to light that is leading us to think that this isn't the case. That the WSB either doesn't know what happened, or they were never truly involved with the case that we were sent on to begin with." Robert explained in basics, but it all confused Anna too much that she had to stop and interrupt him. "What, wait a minute, I'm not understanding any of this Robert." Robert took in a deep breath to back himself up.

"Remember five years ago when Patrick Rikers called Luke and I about the caper to help with a DVX meeting in some warehouse?" Robert asked her and suddenly Anna remembered what she saw on the computer screen earlier, the memory caused her to gasp sharply. "Oh my god!" She yelled, looking at Robert in shock. And Robert had a sense that there was something more into this. "What is it Anna?" He asked her, heart racing, jumping out of his chest. "I did a search in the WSB database earlier for Patrick Rikers." Anna said to him with eyes wide open and Robert had a strong nagging feeling that he wasn't going to like this at all. "Anna what did it say?" He whispered, dreading what she was going to tell him. "Robert, when I pulled his file up, there was a red flag on it." She told him, Robert sat back in shock. "Well then, everything is starting to make sense now." He whispered, but Anna still wasn't really understanding this. "Robert what's going on?"

"Anna, I need you to do us a favor, I need you to look up profiles for several people for me." Robert stated as he picked up a pad and a pen. "I want you to do a profile on a Jonas Trevers, his real name is Dr. Mark Campbell." Robert continued and Anna suddenly recognized the name and interrupted him. "Dr. Mark Campbell?!" She asked in shock for confirmation. Robert had a sinking feeling about this. "Oh god Robert, Laura and I had to take Lulu to the emergency room tonight, her doctor was Dr. Mark Campbell!" Anna told him. "DAMN!" Robert yelled as he jumped up and paced angrily. "This is all Faison's doing, all of it! I'm going to kill him if it's the last thing that I ever do!" He barked as he paced angrily. "Don't say that!" Anna cried, getting up and going over to him. "I don't want to loose you again!"

Robert calmed himself down with a deep breath and sigh. He pulled her into his arms and embraced her. She held him, tears sliding down her cheeks once more. The two of them felt trapped, and even though they were embracing each other, they felt as if someone was trying to keep them apart. After a few minutes they pulled apart and Robert escorted her back over to the couch. "Okay listen, here's what I think is going on. I think Faison has infiltrated the WSB with double agents and I think that instead of the WSB having a hold of us the past five years, it's been the DVX. I'm thinking Faison plans for us to take a very big fall and that involves making it look as if Luke, Frisco, Crystal Hanson and I are all double agents siding with the DVX. And I don't think the WSB has any clue about this yet."

Robert paused for a moment to see if Anna was following him. She had a pad and pen in her hands, ready to take down key notes. And once more, they were a team, ready to fight together, and together they were going to take Faison down. "Just to be on the safe side, I don't think there's a reason not to trust her, but just to be sure, do an intensive background search on Agent Crystal Hanson. And her late husband, John Hanson. He worked on a jewelry case with Herr Kreig and ended up getting set up. Buy the time the WSB came in, he had been killed. I don't have the details on it though." He paused to allow Anna to finish writing stuff down. Once she finished she looked up at him, cluing him in to finish. "Now, also do a background check on a man by the name of Harris Ryerson, I am suspecting that this is Patrick Rikers's alias, I think they are one and the same. Now also we need background checks on Dr. Mark Campbell, aka, Jonas Trevers."

Robert paused and thought for a moment. Anna suddenly looked up at Robert with a fear stricken look on her face. Robert knew instinctively what she was thinking. "And just to be on the safe side, have Laura take Lulu to a different doctor, preferably Tony, Monica or Alan. We know we can trust them. Have them prescribe any meds that she needs. This is just a precautionary thing." He told her, reading her mind. "So I should tell Laura then?" She asked. "Yes, we need you and Laura to help us all out. You see, we thought that the WSB had sent us on this mission here to help Agents Jerry Jacks, Jasper Jacks and Roy DiLucca on their case for the night of the Governors ball. The thing was, we weren't supposed to have any contact with friends or family." Robert began to explain. "The WSB wouldn't do that though." She stated confused. "Precisely, which is why Luke, Frisco and I all felt as if it was a set up from the get go."

"So that's why you and Luke acted so strangely and rudely, because you couldn't have contact with us?" She asked him. Robert nodded yes and continued to explain everything. "We feel now that this was a set up by Faison to expose us as having joined the DVX, thus in turn, the WSB would come after us and eliminate us. This would allow Faison to move in and make whatever move he had in mind, and I think I know what it was." He told her quietly. "You think this elaborate set up is in retaliation for what we did to Faison?" Anna questioned, Robert didn't really answer her at first, he continued to explain things, knowing that he was running out of time. "When Jerry contacts the WSB in the morning, which won't be long from now, he's going to find that the WSB never sent us and that will raise suspicions within the WSB."

"Which means that Luke, Frisco and you will have to go into hiding again doesn't it?" Anna asked, sensing that this was the case. "It could be Anna, I just don't know. I need you to find out these things for me first so that we can get a better understanding of what in the hell is going on here." He told her as she wrote down a few other ideas that popped up in her head. They both paused for a moment, looking at each other. Robert wanted nothing more then to make love to her at this very moment. And then the thought hit him. "Anna, I know about Robbie." He whispered proudly, smiling his biggest smile. Anna smiled, heart warmed that he knew. "Would you like to see a picture of him?" She asked, not knowing if he had ever seen a picture of him. "I would love to see him, not just a picture. But a picture will do for now though." He told her.

Anna got up from the couch and walked over to the fire mantle, she picked up the most recent picture of Robin and Robbie taken just a few months ago. She walked back over and sat down. "Here, it is the most recent one I have of both Robin and Robbie." She told him as she handed him the picture. Robert took the picture and stared at them for the longest time, eyes stinging with tears. "We have such beautiful children." He whispered. "Yes we do." Anna whispered. "And we're not being biased at all!" Robert stated, eyebrow raised. "No, no, no, not at all." Anna teasingly mocked. They both burst into laughter. The mood lightened just for a brief moment. Anna grew suddenly very serious, knowing in her heart that Robert had no idea about Robin. "Robert, there is something that I need to tell you about Robin."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

As hard as she tried, Laura just could not go to sleep. Half worried over her daughter who was now soundly asleep, and half worried about Anna. Laura couldn't help but wonder if she had upset Anna somehow and that was why she would confide in her. She thought back at the incident with the nurse. Anna was so suspicious of her, she was convinced that the nurse was eves dropping on them. Anna had always had a suspicious nature, but lately her suspicious nature seemed more in tune the usual. Laura thought back to the ball and remembered how suspicious she was of that girl there, Lindsey something or other. And those men that Lindsey was with, all three of them were pretty strange. Especially that one, the one that did everything he could to avoid looking at her and Anna. Maybe that's why Anna was acting strange. Maybe she sensed that all was not right by the way they acted? Laura didn't buy Lindsey's story of their women troubles. And neither did Anna, this much she knew.

But there was something auspiciously familiar with the one guy. And she knew that Anna was very curious in the other man. What was it about these men that felt as if they were so familiar to them. Laura's mind was too busy asking these questions to ever get any sleep. So she decided to go make a cup of tea. Crawling out of bed quietly so as not to wake up Lulu who had insisted on sleeping with her. She quietly tip toed downstairs and then to the kitchen. Putting the kettle of water on and grabbing a mug and a tea bag, she sat at the counter and water for the water to boil. Meanwhile she continued to think about last nights events and of Anna. Why was Anna so insistant on not telling her what was wrong? Did Anna find something out that she didn't want to tell her? She knew from past experience that Anna didn't like to jump to conclusions with out proof to back it up.

"Maybe that's why Anna wouldn't tell me what was up?" Laura whispered to herself. Once the kettle started to whistle, she grabbed it and poured the hot water into the mug. She then took her tea and walked out into the living room. She decided to see what was on TV, but after a good ten minutes of channel surfing, she realized there wasn't anything worth watching. She sat wondering some more about Anna and the ball. She felt Luke so strongly, but even stranger was that she felt Robert as well. She couldn't explain that one at all. Her thoughts then drifted onto Anna's behavior once more. Maybe that's why she was acting so strange, maybe she felt them too, Luke included? But why wouldn't Anna just tell me that? She wondered. The more she wondered, the more that she could not understand. She thought back at the ball, talking to that girl, Lindsey.

She remembered how it seamed like Lindsey was diverting her attention away from the men for some reason. Laura and Scotty had gone over to meet with them at the buffet table. But of course, she seamed to make sure that this would not happen. She remembered the one man speaking in a husky like voice and not actually looking at her or even Lindsey for that matter. And that voice did seam somewhat familiar to her. Did Anna know these Agents? Did she know something about them that made her on edge? It seamed like for about the last twenty four hours, both she and Anna were feeling Robert and Luke's presence so very strongly. But even more strange was that Felicia could feel Frisco too. Why on earth would she suddenly feel him?

She knew that all three of them were WSB agents. She also knew that if the WSB needed to protect them, they would. And once more, she knew that the WSB never found their bodies, they were only MIA and presumed dead. Then there was this fact that Jerry, Roy and Jax requested more agents to help out. Then they got these three very strange acting agents. And to top all of that, she, along with Anna and Felicia were feeling their husbands. She hadn't thought about any of this until now really because Lulu was sick. But now that Lulu was better, she sat back to ponder everything that has happened in the last oh twelve hours or so. Laura finished her tea and started to go back into the kitchen when a sudden thought crossed Laura's mind, causing her to drop the mug. It shattered when it hit the floor, and at that same instance, Laura screamed. "OH MY GOD IT CAN'T BE!"
