The series Smallville is shot around the Vancouver, BC Canada area

1) Metropolis is Vancouver, BC

2) The outside shots of Lex Luthor Mansion is Hatley Castle in Victoria, BC

3) The Beanery is a coffee shop call The Whip. It is located on E 6th & Main street in Vancouver, BC

4) The main street (downtown Smallville) scenes are filmed in Cloverdale.

5) The inspiration for Talon is located at 57th and 176th Street in Cloverdale, BC.

6) Smallville High
The outside shots and the first couple of episode was filmed at Vancouver Technical Secondary School. It is located on Broadway Street, Vancouver BC

Templeton Secondary is where they film the inside shots of the school. Templeton Secondary has put up some pitures of them filming to check it here

7) The Kent Family Farm While the interior shotis film in the studio. The exterior shot is a real home located in Langly, BC. Someone made a website about their encounter with the Kent Family Farm click here to check it out.

8) The Cemetery where Lana visits her parents is film at the Fraser Cemetery. It was established around 1870.

9) The Studio is located in Vancouver. This is where they house the three main set the interior of Lex's mansion, the Kent's family home and barn. Backdrops are used to achieve an outdoor look.
