are suitable for shelling coastal buildings and enemy defences. Gold is
required to maintain them. If there is no gold left, your galleys will
cease firing. Requires much coal and iron to fire. |

Low-rank military vessel. Good
maneuverability. High speed. Low firepower. Spends much coal and iron to
fire.

Frigates
 |
Medium-range military vessel. Does not
require financing. When shooting, large amounts of coal and iron are
needed.

Battleship
 |
First-class warship. High rate of fire
and fire power. Requires much gold. Spends little coal and iron. Low
manoeuvrability.

Xebec
 |
Medium-rank military vessel. Does not
require gold for maintenance. Considerable consumption of coal and iron
when firing.
