Given to the old Enterprise crew in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, "Scotty" was sure they'd get a freighter. Instead they were presented with a sleek new Enterprise, more than they expected after their run about the galaxy finding Spock. The new ship lasted through two more movies, decommissioned after Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
