Liz is on her balcony writing in her journal. The camera pans in and you can see tears running down her face. She looks up at the sky for a small period of time, then looks back at her journal and starts writing.

(Voiceover) Liz - I’m Liz Parker and on September 18th, I died. Then the most miraculous thing happened, Max Evans saved me and brought me back to life. But today, 10 months later, I died again. Well, not all of me, just my heart. I went with Max, Isabel, Michael, and the gerbil (Tess) to the cave where their pods were first stored. They used the orbs and their mother (in the form of Diane Evans) appeared and confirmed everything about their destiny that was in the book Tess had. Max told me that everything he had said in the overturned bus was still true. I looked into his eyes and I believed him. I wanted to stay, but I knew that you can’t mess with destiny and that I should let him follow it. So, I ran. Max called after me; at first I wasn’t going to turn around, in fear that it would hurt too much. Then I thought that I deserve one last memory, when I saw his face, all the hurt and pain that were in it, especially his eyes, I turned away and started running again. I don’t know for how long, everything in the cave happened so fast. I finally stopped running when I came across the silver mine. I remembered that Maria and Alex were still in there; they needed to know the truth.

*Flash and we see Maria leaning her head on Alex’s shoulder waiting for them to come back*

Maria: What’s taking so long?

Alex is silent.

Maria looks at him. His face is in a worried expression; he is staring at the floor.
Maria: Alex?

Alex looks at her suddenly, like she startled him.

Maria: What are you thinking about? Oh wait, never mind, that’s a given.
Alex: She won’t want me anymore, I can feel it.

Maria: Don’t say that Alex, we have no idea what the orbs do.

Alex: No it’s not that, I know she likes me but, suddenly, like a minute ago I felt like something bad happened. I know it came from her.

Liz runs in, she looks terrible. Her tears are visible even from the distance she is from Maria and Alex. Maria jumps up and runs over to her best friend.

Maria: Liz? Liz! What’s wrong?

Liz is crying to hard to answer.

Liz: Its over (she whispers)

Maria: What!? What are you talking about? Liz, focus! What happened?

Liz: (between cries) Its over, they have their destinies.

Maria hugs her friend, still not sure what is going on. Alex is still sitting on the stairs. He is staring at the floor, he heard everything Liz said and he has the “I knew it” look on his face.

*Flash- Liz is still writing in her journal*

Liz- (voice over) After that Maria drove Alex home and me. Alex didn’t say much. None of us did. My mom came in about an hour after I came home and demanded to know where I have been for the past 2 days. I told her that Maria and I just went on a road trip to get away from everything. She bought it but she is worried about me. I hate lying to her. Sometimes I wish that I had never been in the CrashDown that day. Taking double shifts because Betty had quit the day before. I also wonder if Max and I would ever have dated, or if I would still be with Kyle. Hold on, the phones ringing.

Liz gets up and picks up the receiver but before she says hello her mother is saying it. Liz listens to the conversation. It’s Max.

Mrs. Parker: Hello?

Max: Hello Mrs. Parker, is Liz home?

Mrs. Parker: Yes, but she seemed tired, I don’t think she wants to talk right now.

Max: (disappointed) Oh, could you tell her I called? Have you been telling her that I have called before?

Mrs. Parker: Yes, I wrote down all 13 messages on a piece of paper and left it on her bed. She will call you when she can.

Max: (sad) Ok, thanks.

They both hang up the phone. Liz does after a few minutes. She goes to sit on her bed. Something under her makes a rumpling sound. It’s the piece of paper that has her messages on it. They are all from Max. Liz stares at the paper, tears well in here eyes and she lies down on her bed and cries herself to sleep.

Scene 2 Maria is sitting in front of her mirror brushing her wet hair. Maria is crying too. There is a knock on her window. Her face lights up, but when she looks at the window she sees Isabel. She wipes her tears and walks over to the window to let her in.

Maria: What…what are you doing here?

Isabel: How’s Alex? (Isabel looks concerned and her face looks sticky from tears.

Maria: He’s….well he’s Alex. He hasn’t said anything, well, except that he wishes that Liz were never in the shooting. Besides, why do you care?

Isabel stares at the floor. She doesn’t say anything.

Maria gets a knowing look on her face.

Maria: Wow.

Isabel: (quietly) What?

Maria: It just hit me that you, the Ice Queen, actually care about him.

Isabel: Well, there are a lot of things you don’t know about me. What about Liz? How…what is she…”

Maria: I don’t know.

Isabel: You don’t know?

Maria: I haven’t talked to her since I drove her home. Isabel: Oh, well…ok. I’m…I’m gonna leave now. Sorry to bug you.

Maria: Isabel! Wait, i’m sorry, I just, like don’t know what to think. Its confusing ya know, are Michael and I over, does he still love me? I mean Liz was the only one of us there and she didn’t exactly give out lots of details. I mean, I don’t know what to think and I am not sure if I should call Michael, if I should not call Michael. Sometimes that boy can-

Isabel cuts her off. Isabel: Maria! You’re rambling again!

Maria: Sorry, I do that. So, what IS going on?

Isabel (quietly) I’m a princess.

Maria looks at her funny, then grabs her Jasmine oil and holds it up to her nose.

Maria: Come again.

Isabel: Well, put it this way, we found our destinies and we don’t know what to do with them and-

Maria cuts her off this time. Maria: (in a mocking tone) Isabel! Your rambling!

Isabel doesn’t say anything. She just looks at her with a blank face.

Isabel: I gotta go, when I left Max was sitting on his bed in the dark with the door and window closed.

Maria: That bad Hugh?

Isabel: Well, yeah. Anyway, see ya.

Maria: Right.

Isabel leaves and Maria is confused. She is wondering why Isabel even came to see her (besides the fact of Alex and Isabel only talks to Maria if she has to.)

Maria looks back in the mirror.

Maria: Sometimes, I wish Liz had never been in that shooting so we would have never spent so much time with the checkoslovockiens. (Okay I know that has like a z after the c but I don’t know how to spell it and my computer doesn’t either)

Scene 3
Michael talking to Isabel on the phone: Iz, I wish that Liz had never been there that day at the Crash Down so we wouldn’t hurt them.

Isabel: I know, me too.

Max enters the room. The other cordless phone up to his ear. Max: Me too.

Isabel just looks at him with an expression that says “sorry”

Nesado is standing in front of the cave with the pods in them. He is holding one of the stones and hears the group’s wish. He smiles.

Scene 4

It’s the next day and Maria and Liz are waiting tables. They are both smiling.

Liz: So, are we on for tonight?

Maria: Sure, pick you up at seven. What movie do you want to see?

Liz thinks for a minute. Liz: How about Teenage Aliens 3?

Maria: Groovy babe. Oh gosh, Max is staring at you again.

Liz: He is not!

Liz looks over at Max’s table. He looks away quickly.

Maria: See! I told you, go talk to him!

Liz looks at Maria like she is crazy. Then walks over to their table.

Liz: Can I get you three anything else?

Max doesn’t answer; he just looks at his Cherry Coke. Isabel laughs and Michael looks at Liz with his head tilted.

Liz (confused): What?

Michael: Liz, are you still seeing Kyle?

Liz thinks for a minute. She doesn’t know the answer.

Liz: I don’t…think so, why?

Michael: Would you ever consider going out on a date with Maxwell here?

Max looks at Michael red faced. Max: Michael!

Michael looks innocent.

Michael: What?

Max: Leave her alone!

Michael: I was just trying to help.

Isabel stops laughing.

Isabel: both of you shut up!

She turns to Liz.

Isabel: So, how bout it. You, my brother, a movie, maybe dinner.

(She shakes her head from side to side.

Isabel: How bout it Parker?

Liz just smiles slowly and looks at Max. He has an embarrassed look on his face and is staring at Liz. When he realizes that she is looking at him he looks back at his drink. Liz: (slowly) Sure, I mean, if that’s ok with Max. Max’s head whips up and he stares at her in amazement. Max: Really? Liz: Yeah, I should be fun. Isabel jumps in. Isabel: Great, he will pick you up at 7 on Friday night. Liz nods and walks away.

Scene 5
Maria: Your kidding!

Liz: Nope, he asked me out, well Michael and Isabel did.

Maria: (sarcastically) How romantic! So, are Michael and Isabel going to go to, ya know, to help have a conversation?

Liz laughs.

Liz: Shut up Maria!

Maria and Liz finish changing out of their uniform.

Maria: So when is this dream date?

Liz: Tomorrow at seven.

Maria: So, what are you going to wear?

Liz looks worried.

Scene 6
Max: I can’t believe you did that!

Isabel: You sure weren’t going to.

Max: yes I was.

Isabel and Michael just look at him.

Max: Okay fine, maybe not, but that’s because I didn’t think she would ever be interested in me. Michael: Well Maxwell, she is.

Max: Well thanks to you two I know that now.

Michael: Do you see this Isabel? We got him his first date and do you see how he thanks us?

Isabel smiles.

Max: Ok, since you guys are the experts, what should I get her? Flowers, candy, bubble bath? Max gets a flash of him giving Liz a bag with bubble bath in it.

*Flash*

Max: Its supposed to make your skin soft.

Liz smiles.

*Flash*

Isabel: Earth to Max!

Max looks at his sister.

Max: Sorry.

Michael: So, you guys wanna go to the movies tonight?

Isabel is holding a CD up to her ear listening to it.

Isabel: Hugh?

Michael: I said do you want to go to the movies tonight?

Max: Isabel?

Isabel: sure, what movie?

Michael: How about…Teenage Aliens 3

Isabel: What time? I have a date at 10.

Max: Again?

Isabel: Yeah, so what. You have one on Friday. Max blushes.

Scene 7
Maria: Liz! Will you hurry up! The movie is about to start! Liz: Go save a seat for me, I just want something to drink. Maria: Ok, hurry babe! Oh, and if you see Alex, yell at him for being late!

Liz: Okay.

Liz walks in line. Someone bumps into her from the back. She turns around ready to ask what their problem was when she sees Max turn back around from arguing with Michael.

Max realizes that it was Liz that he bumped into.

Max: (sheepishly) Sorry.

Liz: No, its ok.

Snack Vender: Next! Hey! I said next!

Max looks at the lady and back at Liz. Max: I think it’s your turn.

Liz: Oh right!

Liz turns around and orders a Cherry Coke. Max notices.

Max: Cherry Coke, my favorite.

Liz smiles and steps aside so he can order.

Max: Cherry Coke please.

Snack Vender: Sorry buddy just gave out the last one.

Max looks sad.

Liz jumps in. Liz: We can share mine!

Max: That’s nice but we probably are going to see different movies.

Liz: Teenage Aliens 3?

Max smiles.

Liz: Lets go.

Max starts to walk away with Liz when someone taps him on the shoulder. He turns around.

Michael and Isabel are staring at him.

Isabel: Forgetting something?

Max: I don’t think so.

Isabel: Umm, ya know…us?

Max remembers that he came there with Isabel and Michael. He turns around to face Liz.

Max: I sorta came with Michael and Isabel.

Liz: They can sit with us too, I mean, if you want to.

Liz looks at Michael and Isabel and smile. Michael gives her a fake smile that is obviously sarcastic. Alex walks into the movie theater and sees Liz.

Alex: Liz hey!

Liz: Hey Alex, umm, Maria is inside saving seats for us.

Michael: Maria? Who’s that?

Max: You know, the blond waitress that also works at the CrashDown. Liz’s best friend.

Isabel rolls her eyes.

Alex: So Liz, are we going to go anytime soon?

Isabel smiles and walks up to Alex. Isabel: Yes, we are. Do you mind if I sit by you?

Alex is dumbfounded.

Alex: Me? You, (points to Isabel) Isabel Evans wants to sit by me? (Points to himself) Alex Whitman?

Isabel: yes.

Alex smiles. Alex: Fine with me!

Michael: That’s great. Who am I going to sit with?

Max: Me, and Liz.

Michael: I love you and all Maxamillion, but your not all that pretty.

Alex: (very enthusiastic) Lets go everyone!

They all walk into the movie theater and see Maria.

Its kind of hard to miss her, she is standing up waving her arms calling to Liz.

Liz blushes.

Michael is leading the way and sits next to Maria.

Maria looks at him annoyed. “I was saving that seat for Liz.

Michael looks at Max and Liz sitting a few rows in front of them, sharing her drink.

Michael: Doesn’t look like she is going to sit here.

Maria is staring at him in frustration.

Maria: You know, that is so typical.

Michael: What?

Maria: Of a guy. Can I ask you a question?

Michael: No.

Maria: Too bad, what gives you the right to sit by me and ignore me when I have an objection to it? Violation of woman’s rights buddy.

Michael: (annoyed) What right? The movie theater is full Alex is with Isabel-

Maria cuts him off. Maria- Isabel Evans is with Alex “the dork” Whitman?

Michael: He had the same reaction. Max and Liz are up there sharing a drink like love struck puppies, so that leaves you. I don’t have anywhere else to sit. Okay?

Maria: You better not be one of those guys who talk throughout the movie.

The room gets dark and the previews start.

Michael: i’m sure you will be doing enough of that for the both of us.

Maria: All right! That’s it! You don’t even know me.

Michael: So? You made a snap judgment for me.

Maria: You haven’t proved me wrong.

Michael: Do you ever shut up?

Maria: No!

Michael: Oh really?

Maria: Yes, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Michael smiles and kisses her. After a few minutes he breaks away.

Maria: What the hell was that?

Michael: (Shrugs his shoulders) Hey, you shut up for a minute.

Maria: You know what?

Michael looks at her.

Maria: Aw, screw it.

Maria grabs Michael’s head and they start to make out.

Scene 8
The heroine of the movie slashes an alien. Isabel hugs Alex’s arm and buries her face in his shoulder. Alex smiles.

Scene 9
Max looks at Liz as she takes a sip of her drink. There is no more left. Liz looks sad.

Max: (whispering) what’s wrong?

Liz: (whispering back) were out of soda, I guess you have to go sit with Michael now.

Max: You know (Pauses) Dr. Pepper is my second favorite drink.

Liz: Mine too.

Max: I know.

Liz looks at him.

Max: I mean, I will go get some.

Liz: I’ll go with you.

They both get up and walk hand in had to the concession stand. The sign on the counter says closed.

Liz looks at Max.

Liz: I’m not that thirsty anyway.

Max looks at her and smiles. They walk into the arcade.

Max: What game do you want to play?

Liz: Why don’t we go and take pictures in the photo booth?

Max: Ok.

He grabs her hand and leads her over to the boot, holding the curtain up for her to go in. They sit on the stool together. Max puts in the money.

Liz: How should we pose?

Max: I dunno.

Liz: Its about to take the picture!

She gets an idea and smiles.

Liz: Just look at the camera and smile.

Max: What are you going to do?

Liz smiles. When the picture is about to be taken she kisses Max on the cheek.

The flash goes off and Max looks into her eyes. She does the same. The second flash goes off.

They both start to lean in, and their touch lips the flash goes off again.

Then, Max runs his fingers through Liz’s hair. Max breaks away and leans his forehead agents hers. Liz smiles. The last flash goes and they remember that they are in a picture booth. They get out and wait for their pictures. Liz leans agents the booth and Max kisses her while they wait for their pictures.

Scene 10
Tess is standing outside the movie theater. Nesado comes up to her.

Nesado: What’s wrong?

Tess: What did you do? (She looks angry)

Nesado: I granted their wish, that way you could move in much easier.

Tess: Well, they are all making out with those humans!

Nesado: How did this happen?

Tess: I don’t know, maybe the book was wrong.

Nesado is angry.

Nesdao: Don’t ever doubt you destinies.

Tess: What am I supposed to do?

Nesado: Leave it to me, I will fix it.

Tess and Nesado walk to their car.

The camera shows Michael and Maria making out in the movie theater. Then it shows Isabel and Alex in Max’s jeep, also making out.

Finally it shows Liz and Max still by the photo booth in the dark arcade, lips locked.

Scene 11
Tess is lying in her bed. She is angry at what has happened. She goes out of her room and finds Nesado pouring Tabasco Sauce on his ice cream.

Tess: Don’t do anything about what’s happened.

Nesado: Why?

Tess: Because if you have tried to fix it already and this is how it ends up again, its just going to happen all over again when you put it back. Those 6 belong together.

Nesado: But the orbs…

Tess: Its fake. I did it with my powers. I wanted Max to come to me so I made the whole image in front of them, it’s not true.

Nesado: Tess! I told you to never use your powers on them! You have betrayed me!

Tess: (disgusted) What was I supposed to do? He loves her and she is human!

Nesado: Its too late now.

Tess: what do you mean?

Nesado gets up and places his hand on Tess’s forehead. She falls to the ground. Nesado checks her pulse. There isn’t one. He smiles.
