Once in a while a true talent comes along that puts all competition to shame. What is it exactly about OutKast that we admire so much? Is it the connection between Andre Benjamen ("Andre 3000") and Antwon Patterson("Big Boi") or perhaps the way they are so different from each other that somehow magically unites them into one cool brotherhood? For certain the music is wonderful and unique - Dirty South rhymes set to danceable beats and dreamy rhythms. The blunt truth spit into the microphone. Fashion and dance moves that no one else dare try. Only Andre 3000 could get away with his style because there is only one Andre. It is true this webpage mostly recognizes Andre 3000, the more eccentric of the duo, but that is because I see something in him that sets him apart from the rest. His musical genius (he writes and self-produces all of his own songs without even writing them down first on paper), his dance style, his "in your face" yet "I'm just being myself" personality.
