The Biography
Born in Houston and raised in West Virginia, Jennifer Garner stars as Sydney Bristow in "Alias," which earned her a Golden Globe Award for best Actress in a Leading Role - Drama Series and an Emmy nominaton for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
She recently wrapped production in a lead role opposite Ben Affleck in 20th Century Fox's "Daredevil," which will be released on February 14, 2003. She will also be seen this Christmas in a cameo role in Steven Spielberg's "Catch Me If You Can," which stars Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio. Ms. Garner's additional film credits include "Pearl Harbor," "Dude, Where's My Car?," the independent feature "Rennies Landing," "Mr. Magoo," "Deconstructing Harry," "1999," and "Washington Square."
Her television credits include series regular roles in the dramas "Time of Your Life" and "Significant Others." She guest starred on "Spin City," "Law & Order" and "Felicity," and has been featured in the television films "Rose Hill," "Dead Man's Walk," "Zoya" and "Harvest Fire."
Recently married, Ms. Garner enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking, and she idolizes Martha Stewart. She and her husband, along with their two dogs and one cat, live in the Los Angeles area.
