Surviving: Islands of Jioeli (Episode Two)

Episode Two

Day 4:

Sphymoodu had a quiet night. No one said a word.

The next morning, John got up and looked for some more fire wood. Pizza Guy awoke to find John talking to someone from the Hhark Tribe. At first Pizza Guy panicked.

“ Maria, wake up!” exclaimed Pizza Guy.

Maria woke up and saw John talking to the Hhark tribe member also.

“ What’s he doing?” she whispered, “ Is this cheating?”

John was talking to Misty, from the Hhark Tribe. After a couple minutes Misty headed back into the jungle. John came back with some wood, and looked around to see if anyone was watching. Luckily, Pizza Guy and Maria laid back down to pretend they were asleep. Moody then woke up and Pizza Guy and Maria told her about John and the Hhark member. (They weren’t sure who it was.)

At the Hhark tribe, George, David, Anna, Jenna, and Marcus were looking for Misty. They weren’t sure, but they thought maybe a wild animal had caught her. The looked almost depressed until Misty showed up with a bundle of wood. Everyone crowded around her and asked her where she had been. She said that she was just collecting lumber, but George, Anna, and Marcus weren’t very sure of her. Leonard was very quiet, he sat near the fire not saying a word. He had seen Misty leave that morning.

Many hours passed at the Sphymoodu tribe, until finally, Pizza Guy got up the nerve to speak with John.

“ What were you doing with that Hhark member?” he asked in a demanding voice.

John was shocked. He didn’t know what to say. Finally, some words came out…

“ I was asking her if she was lost…” he said unsure of himself.

After saying this, the tribe began to talk amongst themselves while Patty and John headed out to the clean waterhole. Some thought John was planning to give away the tribe’s secrets, some thought he was planning to purposely loose in the next challenges for some weird reason.

The Hhark tribe decided to go on an expedition to explore their area. They traveled around the mountain walls and through the vine-covered jungle. Finally, the tribe came the volcano. The tribe climbed the volcano walls and stood upon the top of the dormant volcano.

The night then came, the Hhark tribe was fairly settled and the Sphymoodu Tribe had high suspicions.

Day 5:

Marcus woke to find one of the bushes on fire close to him. He took off quickly into the jungle to the waterhole. His comotion woke Anna and Misty and they began wake the rest of the tribe. Quickly, Jenna took out her luxury item, her blankets and got the tribe members to smother the fire. A few minute later, Marcus came back with a jar of water, but there was no more fire to put out.

At the Sphymoodu Tribe, Mr. Twinkles was talking with John. They decided to stick together and John told Mr. Twinkles about his conversation with Misty. Pizza Guy and Pete decided to go check the tree mail. Pizza Guy opened the tree mail case to find a letter, “ If you’re willing and you’re a wiz, then you’ll have no problem answering this quiz.”

Reward Challenge:

Billy Breakfast, the host, got out a book and told the tribes that they had to stand at the bottom of a set of stairs. Then, Billy would ask a question and whoever got the answer right first would get to go up one step. Whoever got to the top first would win. They were playing for, soap, shampoo, and de-oderant.

The first question was, “ what is the name of the volcano in the center of the island?” Quickly, Mr. Twinkles called out the answer, “ Han-Janovar.” “ Correct!” replied Billy. (Sphymoodu has three steps more, Hhark has four more to go.) “ Next question,” said Billy, “ What is the name of the purple flower which grows along the shores?” Quickly, once again Mr. Twinkles called out the answer, “ Purple- Three Rings!” “ Correct!” said Billy. (Two more steps for Sphymoodu, four more for Hhark) “ Next question,” Billy said, “ What does your tribe’s name mean?” Quickly, Leonard cried out an answer, “ A lion!” “ Correct!” said Billy. ( 2 steps for Sphymoodu, three steps for Hhark) “ Next question,” said Billy, “ How many islands make up the Jioeli Islands?” Leonard quickly answered again, “ Three.” “ Correct,” said Billy. ( Two steps for Sphymoodu, two steps for Hhark) “ Next question,” said Billy, “ How many jungles are on the island?” Moody then called out, “ Two!” “ Correct,” said Billy. (One step for Sphymoodu, two steps for Hhark) “ Next, what is the tallest mountain on the island?” asked Billy. “ Mount. Acorn,” exclaimed Jenna. “ That is incorrect,” said Billy, “ Sphymoodu do you know the answer?” “ Avalon.” Said John. “ Incorrect again,” said Billy, “ Do you know Hhark?” “ Han-Janovar!” exclaimed the Queen. “ Correct!” said Billy. (Each team has to climb one step.) “ What is the circumference of Island of Jioeli?” “ 16 miles!” exclaimed Patty. “ Correct!” Billy said, “ Sphymoodu wins!”

Sphymoodu went home with tons soap, shampoo, and de-oderant. They were very excited.

Day 6:

Hhark was still upset about losing the challenge the day before, but they were very comfortable with being without soap. George and Leonard went out to pick some fruit and talked about Misty. They said that she couldn’t be trusted and that if they lost immunity, they would vote her off.

At Sphymoodu, everyone was washing themselves in the ocean. John sat alone on the beach, thinking. Everyone else in the water discussed the issue with John. Could he be trusted? Pizza Guy, Pete, Moody, and Maria privately began talking about another weaker member, though.

Leonard and Misty went to get the tree mail. On their way, they talked about forming an alliance together with David. When they reached the tree mail, they found a letter saying, “ Trust your members, stay at pace, you must be ready for this relay race.”

Immunity Challenge:

Billy told the team that four people would have to sit out from the Hhark Tribe and Sphymoodu had to sit out three members. The first set of people would run through the jungle and give their next member a baton. This next member would race with the baton until they found a key. They would give the key to their next member. The next person with the key would run to find the next member. When they found him or her they would unlock the fourth person. The fourth person would run to the finish line. Whoever made it to the finish line first would win.

“ On your marks, get set, go!” Billy cried.

Pizza Guy from Sphymoodu got off with a good start. Pete received the baton from Pizza Guy and left David from Hhark in his dust. Pete was having a hard time finding the key. David found the key before Pete and gave it to Jenna. She flew past John who finally received the key from Pete. John was very quick and sped past Jenna giving Maria the baton. Maria took off like a bullet, Anna from Hhark was close behind. It was neck in neck. They were both so close, but then Maria from Sphymoodu picked up spead and passed the finish line with Anna closely behind. Sphymoodu won Immunity and Hhark had to go Tribal Council that night.

Hhark packed up their things and were on their way to tribal council.

That night, the Hhark Tribe walked 2 miles through the jungle until they reached the tribal council area. Billy Breakfast then began to speak. He first directed his question to George.

He asked, “ Do you think your tribe has bonded?”

George then replied, “ Each person on this tribe is close and we have bonded, the past few days.”

Billy then asked Anna, “ Do you know who you are voting tonight?”

She replied, “ Yes I do, but don’t really want to.”

After this, everyone went to vote…

When everyone completed filling their votes, Billy red all the votes out loud…

1st- Jenna

2nd- Jenna

3rd- Misty

4th- Jenna

5th- Jenna

6th- Misty

7th- Misty

8th- Misty

“There is a tie,” Billy said, “ We will go to our second resort for the tie breaker.”

After waiting patiently, Sphymoodu entered the tribal council area.

“ I guess you didn’t think you’d end up here, did you guys?” said Billy to Sphymoodu, “ Now you must vote who you want off Hhark’s Tribe.”

Everyone gasped. Sphymoodu talked it over and they all pointed to David. David is now voted off.

David got up and shook his head. He brought his torch to Billy who put it out.

“Have a good night, Hhark and Sphymoodu,” said Billy to the remaining fourteen. Then the tribes walked out into the darkness in opposite directions.
