Surviving: Islands of Jioeli
Episode Three
Day 6: (Continued)
When the Hhark Tribe returned back to their site they were enraged, especially George the Clown.
“ What’s going on!” George exclaimed, “ The votes should have been two votes Jenna and six votes Misty… some one messed this up!”
“ Settle down!” exclaimed Leonard.
“ Who was it?” cried George, “ There’s something wrong here and someone better speak up!”
Day 7:
Sphymoodu was filled with new life. They had been excited and cheerful. Even John was happy. The tribe was finally coming together. Everyone was relaxing and having a good time on the beach. The tribe sat around the fire and ate some fish together. They talked about their victory in the Immunity Challenge and their surprise appearance at Tribal Council. Pizza Guy had left his worries behind about John and the Hhark member. Everyone but Patty was feeling comfortable. She had not made an alliance with any of the other members. Patty decided that she would talk with Moody to see if maybe Moody would invite Patty into their alliance. Moody was shocked. She knew that herself, Pete, Maria, and Pizza Guy were planning on voting Patty off sooner or later, and it would have been hard to have more than four people in their alliance.
Meanwhile at the Hhark Tribe…
The Hhark Tribe was very unsettled. George was on a big hunt to find out who voted for Jenna. Anna and Leonard decided to talk in the jungle together. Anna told Leonard that she voted for Jenna and Leonard admitted that he was the other that had voted for Jenna.
“ This is just between us, right?” whispered Anna.
“ Right,” replied Leonard.
Unfortunately, the Queen had been listening in on the conversation. She quickly ran off to tell George who had betrayed him.
Back at the Sphymoodu Tribe…
A large shriek echoed through the jungle from the Sphymoodu Tribe beach. John had sprained his ankle on a rock. Pizza Guy and Mr. Twinkles quickly ran over to help him.
“ Some one get two thick branches,” cried Pizza Guy, “ and someone else get some palm tree leaves.”
Quickly, Moody, Pete, Patty, and Maria returned with some branches and palm leaves. Mr. Twinkles and Pizza Guy made a splint for John’s ankle as fast as they could.
Meanwhile in Hhark…
When Leonard and Anna returned, George confronted them. At first he was calm and he asked them if they had voted for Jenna. Leonard and Anna did not know what to say. When they didn’t reply, George began to yell.
“ How could you?” he cried, “ This ruined everything. Now David is gone because you didn’t stick with your vote. Leonard, I’m not really mad at you, though. You weren’t in our alliance in the first place.”
Anna was upset. She tried to speak with Marcus, but each time she tried to talk, George would cut in and stop her.
Anna decided to go with Leonard out to the waterhole together to get away from the chaos. It was a good thing too. When they returned, George confronted them…
“ Anna, you’re no longer in our alliance!” George exclaimed, “ You ruined our tribe! Now, instead of David we have Misty! No one wanted that! Did you?”
“ You know what?” Anna said with anger in her voice, “ Fine! I don’t care! Kick me out of your stupid alliance.”
Day 8:
It was raining. The Sphymoodu Tribe was gathered under the shelter. They were singing songs, and joking around while they were waiting for the rain to stop. Pizza Guy decided to go out and have some fun. He ran out in the rain and began to jump in the puddles of water. Maria, Pete, and Moody decided to join him. They were having a great time. John was back to his grumpy self again and started muttering words to himself. This disturbed Mr. Twinkles and Patty so they also went to have fun in the rain.
Back at the Hhark Tribe…
Hhark was in a bad mood this morning. They had woken up soaking wet. Marcus decided that it was time to start building the shelter. They began to gather wood and palm leaves. Everyone was working hard, except for the Queen. She sat underneath the trees giving orders to the rest of the tribe while they worked. It was more than once that the Queen got dirty looks from the other members.
The Queen got up eventually to declare to everyone, “ I’m going to go to sleep, everyone.”
The Queen figured since she was the Queen no one would vote her off, so she took advantage of it.
Back at the Sphymoodu Beach…
Moody, Patty, and John went out to go get the tree mail.
On the beach, Maria, Pete, Pizza Guy, and Mr. Twinkles were snorkeling to find some fish or any kind of food to eat.
When Moody, Patty, and John reached the tree mail, it was missing.
“ Maybe an animal took it…” said John.
“ Where could it be…” Moody said.
A few hours later they returned, without any tree mail. They were unprepared for the Reward Challenge ahead.
Reward Challenge:
Billy explained that each tribe would have to shoot seven arrows each at the target. The closer your arrow was to the bull’s eye the higher points your team would get. The teams were playing for ketchup, mustard, strawberry jelly, and spices.
“ Team Hhark, you can will go first,” said Billy, “ Ready, go!”
Hhark Tribe Points:
George the Clown- 10
Anna- 5
Leonard- 10
The Queen- 5
Marcus- 10
Jenna- 5
Misty- 10
“ Hhark, your total score is 55,” Billy said, “ Sphymoodu, you’re next.”
Sphymoodu Tribe Points:
John- 5
Moody- 5
Pete- 5
Maria- 10
Mr. Twinkles- 5
Patty- 5
Pizza Guy- 10
“ Sphymoodu has a total of 45,” said Billy, “ Hhark, you are the winners.”
Day 9:
Hhark woke up the next morning with the smell of spices in the air. Another smell was also in the air, also. This was the smell of victory. This smell was revitalizing to some tribe members, but it did not keep up the tribe’s good spirits. There were dirty looks passed back and forth from member to member. The tribe needed to win the upcoming Immunity Challenge to keep their spirits up.
At the Sphymoodu Tribe…
Things were the complete opposite at the Sphymoodu Tribe. Even though they had lost the Reward Challenge, they were too happy. Pizza Guy went out to stand at the water edge and let the waves crash at his feet. Maria and Patty came to join him, while Moody and John went over to talk in the jungle. They started talking about an earlier promise they had made to each other. Mr. Twinkles and Pete went out in hopes to find a new tree mail holder. When they reached the spot, there was a new container and now they were ready for this challenge. They found a letter inside. It read, “ A confusing race, you’ll be in a daze, you won’t win Immunity if you get lost in this maze.”
Immunity Challenge:
Billy greeted the tribes and began to tell them of their Immunity Challenge. They must chain their legs together and find their way through a maze. On their way through the maze, they must light five torches. The tribe that lights all the torches and makes it to the end of the maze will win Immunity.
“ On your marks, get set, go!” Billy cried.
The Sphymoodu Tribe had a bit of a disadvantage because of John’s ankle, but they started off quickly. Both teams twisted and turned around corners. Hhark lit their first torch after a couple minutes. Sphymoodu raced around looking for a torch, but they couldn’t find one. Hhark had found their second torch. Sphymoodu was lost. Both teams were still looking, and finally after a half an hour, Sphymoodu found their first torch. Hhark found another torch and raced off again to find another torch. Sphymoodu found another torch and lit it up. Hhark found the end of the maze and Jeff sent them back, they still needed to find one more torch and come back to the end. Sphymoodu found their fourth torch and lit it. After a lot of stress, Sphymoodu lit their final torch and began to search for the finish. Meanwhile, Hhark was still searching for their fifth torch. Sphymoodu found the end of the maze after a lot of trouble and confusion. Sphymoodu had once again won Immunity. The Hhark Tribe would have to vote some else off tonight.
Hhark had a tough walk to Tribal Council that night. When they finally reached the Tribal Council area they were seated. Billy didn’t hold back from starting his questions.
Billy first asked the Queen, “ Have the last few days in your tribe been tough?”
The Queen replied, “ Yes, we have been quite quarrelsome lately.”
Billy then asked Marcus, “ What do you think about the fighting in your tribe.”
Marcus replied, “ I think it’s really pitiful that we have been fighting. It’s not right.”
“ Okay,” said Billy, “ It’s time to vote.”
One by one the members went to vote who they wanted off the island.
Then Jeff red the votes:
1st- Misty
2nd- Misty
3rd- Misty
4th- Jenna
5th- Jenna
6th- Jenna
7th- Misty
“ Sorry, Misty you are the third person voted off of Surviving,” Billy said, “ Please bring your torch.”
Misty hugged Leonard and Anna and brought her torch to Billy. Then he put it out.
“ Have a good night,” Billy said.
And the Castaways walked away into the darkness.
Next week... Surviving the Islands of Jioeli just got tougher... what will happen to the final 13? You'll have to find out!
