Ebony and Jay had the perfect life. They were so in love and Jay was going to propose to her. But one day when ebony went home her parents told her they were moving, all the way to California! Her parents told her to pack they were leaving as soon as possible. Ebony called her best friend- Taisan- and told her she was leaving and good-bye. Taisan was sooooooooo sad. Then the hardest thing ever she called jay and just said good-bye it was to hard for anything else. Then her and her family left to Cal.
Chapter 1 Ebony and her new best friend, Jenna, were in a bug, driving on the freeway. They were in New York because they both got into college there. It had been 2 years since Ebony moved and she could not wait to see her old best friend Taisan, and her love, Jay.
"Ebony where are we going again?" Ebony rolled her eyes.” Over there" Ebony pointed out the place. "Hey i live in California remember?" "Okay i guess i understand" "mommy!" a little boy said. " Is this nuw ork?" (He’s like 2 so he doesn’t talk really good) "yea it is" '' o ky" he said and laid down in the backseat. "He’s so cute!" "thanks" " i want one like him!" "cool, they're fun until, diaper change or temper tantrum" " I’ll keep that in mind"
about 20 minutes later they were at the college (eek! i don’t know any names!)
" So here's our dorm" ebony said as she opened the door, to room 178, Muir Hall (that's from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, my bro goes there) "this is small, 2 beds 2 desks, 2 computers and 2 feet of floor space" jenny said
"what did you expect, a luxury room?” ebony said in a weird/ funnish/ sarcastic way. They both laughed at the remark, quietly yet loud.
"Ebony?" an Asian girl said as she walked by the room. (The door was open) "tai?" she said, confused. I thought you would still be in high school. Your 17" "i am in high school, just visiting Lex" "oh well met my best friend, jenna" "hi" Taisan remarked, kind of mad at ebony because of her 'best' friend, they said no matter what they would be best friends. "Well i gtg" Taisan said and then left, fastishly. "She seems...nice" jenna said to ebony" "well i think she was in shock" "MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the little boy yelled again "what is it?" "mommy i woke up and you were gone! I could’ve choked!" (I got that from riding in cars with boys) "well I’m glad you didn't" ebony said to her son.
“Jay, I have some news,” Taisan said as she went up to Jay and Danni. “What is it Taisan?” Jay asked her, wondering what it could be. “Ebony, ebony’s back and you 2 go to the same college.” “No, that’s impossible” “No it’s not Jay, she’s back and still in love with you” “What dorm? 178, Muir Hall” “Okay thanks Taisan” “Whatever” “Hey aren’t you happy to see her?” “ I was” “Why, what happened?” “never mind.” taisan said, she didnt feel like telling the world. "okay” jay said, confused. “Oh, well if you’re going to see Lex say hi for me” “And me” Danni said “Ok, whatever” Taisan replied.
On her way back to Lex’s she bumped into, Ebony again. “Taisan, what was your problem back there?” “MY problem, what was with yours?” “what was my problem?” In ebony’s voice or something like it, “ This is my BEST friend, you said we would be friends forever, and you never called, EVER” “did you ever call?” “I didn’t know your number” “well so what" ebony said, she couldnt think of anything to say back to her. " don’t you have another best friend?” “I have friends but they aren’t my BEST friend, because YOU were” taisan said. “Were?” “Do you think you still are?” “No I guess not............... what the heck is that?” ebony said pointing to taisan’s left hand ring finger. “ Are you engaged? Or married?” “No I just wear it for fun to pretend” Taisan said sarcastically. Ebony gave her a, o I guessed wrong, kind of look and then Taisan said “ of course I am!” “Well congratulations” ebony said, kind of mean because Taisan didn’t tell her. “Thanks” Taisan said as she left to go to Lex’s. Ebony couldn’t believe Lex bought her that it was HUGE. It had eight diamonds and was pure gold. "Taisan!" ebony said as she ran after her. '' What is it with you? Are you trying to make me hate you?" "what is your problem!?" "my problem? You’re acting like your so much better than me just because I’m 6 months younger" "well I’m sorry for telling the truth!" "it's not that, it's just you ALWAYS point it out, to everyone!" Taisan said, half in tears. "Did i make you cry now?" ebony said meanlyish "it's not that, I’m not in the mood right now okay?" Taisan said as she walked into lex's room. "Tai? What’s wrong?" "nothing i just......... it's that i don’t, i don’t feel good, and i just had a big fight" "okay, well you can stay here'' "thanks, Taisan said as she laid down on lex's bed, while he unpacked. Ebony walked out of the building, angry with Taisan. How could she be so naive? Ebony had never been this mad at Taisan ever.
Taisan was really pi$$ed off at ebony. She was always like this. She never called anyone and then got mad at them. She thought they were friends but maybe she was wrong.
Ebony decided to go to the NYU (yes i thought of a college) college cafe. She really needed to go somewhere. When she got there, believe it or not, Jay was there! She couldn't believe that he was still in New York; he always wanted to go to a college, that wasn’t in-state. Then she saw, the person she hated, Danni. Omg! did they just kiss? That was impossible, no way. They were not they would not ever. It was impossible! Ebony’s cell started ringing. It was Jenna " hello" "hi ebony, where are you? Your son wants to see you" "I’m at the cafe, right next to the college" "okay we'll be there really soon okay?" " Okay, bye" "bye" they hung up. Why does she have to bring him here? She thought, the one time her son would his father, would be when he's kissing another woman. Ebony waited outside the cafe' she couldn't watch jay and 'her'. When Jenna got there (with Shawn, ebony's son) she asked why she was outside. Ebony told her that Shawn’s dad was there. Shawn overheard this (he's 2) and started saying "me see dadda". "Ebony come on let the kid see his dad" "no! He’s making out with another girl" "come on, you both go to the same college, show him now and get it over with" after protesting for 30 minutes, ebony gave in.
"jay" ebony said. Jay turned around "ebony?" "Yea it me and this is, your...your... it's your son" ebony said. "This is your son" ebony said. Jay looked, happy confused, shocked, and mad. "Well aren't you going to say anything?" he just sat there speechless. "da dda" Shawn said, he was happy. "Mom a is this dad da?" "Yea, but he's just um... shocked" '' why?" "Um. Maybe later" "jay do you actually believe her?" Danni said, mad. "Uh...um.... uh...um..." was all that jay could say.” of course he believes her, she doesn’t lie" " or does she really? She's been gone for 2 years and you're going to believe her?" "Yea he is" Jenna said, and then smacked Danni, only because she really wanted too. (Hehehe, actually I want to ) "What the he!" Danni said as she rubbed her, very red cheek. " Come on Jenna, let's just go" ebony said picking up Shawn. "Okay" Jenna said, happily, she REALLY felt good after doing that. They left. "Hum... ebon... wait!" he said but it was too late they were gone. Jenna and ebony (and Shawn) got back to their dorm. "Jenna! What was that all about?" ebony said mad and confused. " Nothing or i should say, none of your business" "what is it?" " Okay i know Danni, she used to live in California" "and what happened between u two?" " Well i had a boyfriend, i really liked him, and he liked me. Then one day Danni 'made' him like her, a lot. Therefore, he dumped me and then the next week she dumped him and went for my best friends boyfriend, then after 1 week, she dumped him. I was going to do something but it turned out she was moving, to New York" " o i c" "and now she's with your man and she WILL dump him i know it but she's going to make you really jealous... so what i did back there felt really good. And i understand if you do it too... believe me it feels good" " hey maybe I will try it sometime" ebony said, that made Jenna laugh and herself.
Taisan walked down the hall to see ebony, and to say... *knock, knock* "who is it?" "Taisan" she said, not very loudly "come in" she walked in. "ebony i wanted to say sorry, i was just in a bad mood." "it's ok" she was happy to have her friend back as a friend. "Well i gig" "okay, bye" ebony said. Taisan left (and i don’t know why!)
in the hall- "jay? Why are you here?" Taisan asked. "To see ebony, why else?" "um... maybe because Danni is with you" "wait, what" he turned around and Danni was there. "I thought i told u to wait?" "well i wanted to come, please?" she gave him the puppy face he could not turn down. "Alright" he said. "Well bye" Taisan said as she left, just laughing a little because Danni never listened to what jay want. *Knock, knock*
ebony opened the door, only because she was right by the door. "Jay?".................... "Jay?" "hi ebony, can i come in?'' ''um... sure" "i need to talk to you" "in private" "Jenna can u take Shawn and go keep Danni busy" "yea, but Shawn should stay here" "but" "no he's staying Ebs" she left. "What do you want jay?" " to talk. like I said" "I know that much, but what is it we have to talk about!" she asked. "About him" he pointed to Shawn. "What about Shawn?" "well if he's my son i think i should be able to see him" " well what if i was lying, what if he's not yours" she just wanted him to go and believe me Shawn IS jay's. "Then i have no reason to be here" "then go,” she said meanly, he had hurt her so bad and she did not want to talk. "Fine" he said leaving.........
