Steve Through the Seasons


Season One: The Beginning of Everything

Steve meets Brandon.  They become good friends.   Steve and gang go to Palm Springs together(2/21/91).  Andrea and Steve share a kiss while prepping for the SATs(3/28/91).

Season Two: Junior Year

Steve is hurt when Kelly denies feelings for him.  Steve looks for his birth mom on Christmas, only to find out she is dead(12/19/91).   Steve is jealous when Kelly starts to date Jake(5/7/92).

Season Three: Senior Year

Steve has an on/off relationship with Celeste Lundy, whom he met on a game show.  Steve and his senior buddy break into the school and try to change Steve's grades.  While Andrea is recovering from her accident(11/4/92), she works heavily with Mrs. Teasely to find out who broke into the school.  This forces Steve is confess.  He is almost expelled from school.  But he gets to graduate with everyone else(5/7/93).

Season Four:  CU Freshman Year

Steve joins a frat.    His relationship with Celeste continues.  He cheats on Celeste and is later wrongly accused of date rape.  This causes Steve and Celeste to break up.  Steve gets into a huge fight with KEG brother, John Sears which results in Jonh getting thrown out of the KEG house.  Celeste and Steve get back together later on but break up while on a trip together in Hawaii.

Season Five: CU Somphmore Year

Steve is fooled by Valerie Malone's allure when she moves to town(9/7/94).  Steve and Griffin Stone throw a rave(11/30/94).  A fire erupts, resulting in Steve going to court.  He gets probations, community service, and he is banned from the party business for five years.  So instead of running the After Dark, his dad takes it over, who sells it to Valerie(2/22/95).

Season Six: CU Junior Year

Steve moves in to Casa Walsh.  Clare becomes his math tutor.  They admit their feelings for one another and start a relationship.  Steve stars in a porn film(10/11/95).   Thanks to Prince Carl, Steve celebrates his 21st birthday on the Queen Mary(5/22/96).  The Prince causes trouble for Steve and Clare but they work things out.  

Season Seven: CU Senior Year

Steve streaks the Quad on Spirit Day.  Clare and Steve constantly fight but when it comes down to it, they really love each other.  Steve graduates(5/21/97)  But Clare leaves after graduation, and moves to France with her father (5/21/97).

Season Eight:  Life After College One

The gang goes to Hawaii where Steve attempts to get with Val but it doesn't work(9/10/97).  Brandon and Steve open up a paper; The Beat.  Steve finds out his father owns a sweatshop.  Steve meets Carly Reynolds.  They begin a relationship.   He becomes really close with her son, Zach.  Carly moves back to Montana after her dad has a heart attack.  Steve goes to West Beverly's 5 year Reunion with Janet Sosna.  Their relationship doesn't get off on the right foot.

Season Nine: Life After College Two

Steve has a fling with Sophie Burns but it ends when she cheats on him.  Steve cannot avoid his attraction to Janet.  She denies any attraction to him, disliking his immaturity among other things. They develop a mature relationship tackling problems such as the paper, ethnic difference, and many others. Despite it all, they have a wonderful relationship. Perhaps, his first mature one.

Season 10: Life After College Three

Now that Janet is pregnant, Steve thinks about becoming a father. He is not only ready for fatherhood but also for a commitment to Janet. He proposes to her during an ultrasound. She accepts(9/29/99). They later marry despite Janet's father's feelings. They have a small, private ceramony and reception. After a difficult birth, everything turns out okay for Janet and Steve's new daughter, Madeline(11/17/99). Janet and Steve are given an offer to buy The Beat. That would mean Janet working for the new paper, Noveau, and Steve staying at home with Maddy. After fighting about it several times, Steve suprises Janet with a new office and the idea to start a new paper, losing the old tabloid rep. Janet, speechless at the thought, gives in(5/17/00).


Season One: A New Era

In hopes of getting the new office completed soon, Steve secretly plans a "Clean-Up Party" in which everyone got together and helps clean up the office. The party was a success and helped pave the way for the new paper. The new paper, entitled The Beat on the Street, was an instant success, with Brandon as a columnist and David as one too. Working so hard, David and Donna planned a suprise break for them, making arrangements for them to spend the weeked at the Beverly Royale. In the midst of their get-away-weekend, Janet and Steve decide to have another child. Janet gets pregnent not too long after. Throughout the pregnency, Janet and Steve work on the paper and do the usual day-to-day stuff. Near the end of the pregnancy, Steve gets Maddy sick, forcing Janet to rush home from the office. On her way, she gets into a serious car accident.

Season Two: Life Back With The Walshes One

Because of the car accident, Janet loses the baby. Putting a severe strain on his marriage and life in general. Steve and Janet both have a hard time dealing with the loss of the baby and Janet's slow reccooperation. But Steve gets over things much faster than Janet. As she slides more and more into a depression, things get tough. Thanks to Valerie, Janet eases back into to reality. It doesn't last long though when the news of Valerie being pregnent comes about. Steve gets put in the middle but after some sense is knocked into Janet, things slowly go back to normal.

Season Three: Life Back With The Walshes Two

Steve and Janet are still upset about the loss of their child. They consider many different options. They check out a local orphanage and decide to adopt children. They pick Brandon, Kelly, and Carly for their references, and the interviews don't go so well. They are nervous; but happy to learn they were approved. They continue with the process.
