Donna Through the Seasons

Season One: The Beginning of Everything

Donna Martin is a student at West Beverly High. Her best friends are Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh. Donna's favorite thing to do is to go shopping! In preparation for college, Donna takes the SAT and low score indiactes that she has a learning disability. Donna goes to the Spring Dance with Steve Sanders.

Season Two: Junior Year

Donna spends the summer taking an acting class with her friends, the highlight when she plays Romeo to David's Juliet. With Steve's advice, Donna invests in the stock market. Donna and David go out to a movie...just as friends. At the Winter Dance, Donna and David kiss and she annouces to her friends that she really likes him. Donna discovers that her mother is having an affair. Donna explains to David that she plans on remaining a virgin.

Season Three: Senior Year

Donna and Brenda go to Paris for the summer. At first all of Donna's thoughts are on David until she is offered a modeling contract. Once home, Donna discovers that David has kissed another girl while she was gone. She forgives him and considers having sex with him but decides not to. Donna steps in as a DJ to help David, who is busy studying in order to graduate early. Donna wins "best dressed, friendliest, and funniest laugh in the Senior Poll. Donna gets drunk at the prom and is banned from attending graduation until the rest of the school hold a demonstration and the school board changes their minds. Donna graduates.

Season Four: CU Freshman Year

Donna, along with David and Kelly move into the beach apartment and start their freshman year at California University. Donna pledges the Alpha Omega sorority. Donna and David begin working for the campus radio station on the night shift. The hours prove to be too much for Donna and she takes a daytime position, angering David. At their one-year anniversary, Donna decides that she wants to make love to David until her parents interrupt them. David breaks up with her but soon they get back together. When Kelly and Donna discover that David is using drugs, they move out of the beach apartment. After David quits using drugs, Donna and him reunite until Donna catches David having sex with another girl in the back of a limo.

Season Five: CU Somphmore Year

Donna returns from having spent the summer in Houston and discovers that she isn't completely over David. Donna "comes out" as a debutante. Donna meets Ray Pruitt, a construction worker/musician, and they start dating. Donna's parents disapprove of her dating Ray. Ray leaves town after Valerie fires him from playing at the After Dark. Donna is attacked by the campus rapist and is saved just in time by David. During the filming of a class project, David and Donna kiss. Donna goes to Portland to visit Ray where Ray becomes abusive over his jealously of David. At the Alpha convention in Palm Springs, Ray pushes Donna down a flight of stairs.

Season Six: CU Junior Year

Donna forgives Ray and they spend the summer together. Donna gets drunk and asks Ray to sleep with her, but he refuses. Donna tries out for the Rose Court. Valerie tells Donna that she slept with Ray so Donna breaks up with him. Donna meets Joe Bradley and makes Ray jealous. Joe gives Donna a parrot for her birthday. Donna decides that Joe is the one, but he explains that he plans to wait until he is married. After proposing, Joe leaves town to coach in his hometown, Donna opts to remain in Beverly Hills. David and Donna start making music videos together and they grow closer.

Season Seven: CU Senior Year

Season Eight: Life After College One

Donna and the gang go to Hawaii where Donna has a fashion shoot. After interviewing for several jobs, Donna and Valerie go into business together. Soon Val is stealing all of Donna's clients. As David is preoccupied with his financial problems, Donna and Noah grow closer. When David steals money from Donna, she kicks him out of the Beach Apartment. Her and Noah date. Donna's grandmother dies and David is there to console her upsetting Noah. David and Donna get into a car accident. Donna gets addicted to painkillers and overdoses. She gets help and overcomes her addiction.

Season Nine: Life After College Two

Donna and Kelly open a clothes shop...Now Wear This. Donna tries to help Noah deal with his grief after his father commits suicide. He pushes her away. Donna's cousin Gina arrives in town and kissed Noah. Gina attempts to break up Donna and Noah. Donna discovers a picture of Gina and Noah kissing. She begins to spend more time with David who wants to be more than just friends. Donna and

Season 10: Life After College Three

Donna learns that Gina is her half-sister. Donna and Noah reunite and then later break up. Noah turns to drugs and alcohol. Donna's father dies and she is consoled by her friends. Just as her and Gina start to build a relationship, Gina leaves town. Donna attempts to help Noah but has to realize that he has to want to help himself. Donna realizes that she still loves David who is dating her partner Camille. Donna catches David and Camille having sex at the store. The two soon realize that they love each other and reunite. David proposes and they wed.

Season One: A New Era

Donna moves into the Bungalow with David and settles into married life. She is happy when her sister Gina moves back to town. Donna is unahppy when her mother starts dating again. Donna continues to run Now Wear This and her and Gina expand into the New York market. While on a business trip to New York, Donna runs into her old boyfriend Joe Bradley. She tries to deny her attraction but they end up spending a night together.

Season Two: Life Back With The Walshes One

Donna come back to Beverly Hills and tries to deal with the guilt she feels after having cheated on David while in New York. She goes about her daily routine, however always carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. She is happy to have some old friends Clare and Brenda back in her life and working with her at the store.

Season Three: Life Back With The Walshes Two

Donna and David are seperated after he finds out she cheated on him. He moves out, and she is devastated. She dates Michael Mancini, but it doesn't work out. After a long awaited seperation, she and David reunite.
