5/20/08 TUESDAY "YOU'RE NOBODY 'TILL SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU..." Hello again... Dateline Milwaukee, WI. Life is interesting. What's new since I last updated this page two years ago? Last I posted, my sweet miss 'Lil had passed away recently and I was working at the famously evil Bryant & Stratton. Now: I just finished my first year teaching broadcasting at Marquette University- a real school! Yay! It had its ups and downs, but all-in-all, I enjoy teaching and Marquette's atmosphere and students. I did it. And now, three months off! I am still working at WTMJ a few times a week, though the company fires people every day and is trying desperately to break the engineering union (IBEW #715) and fire everyone making a living wage! I LOVE Corporate America's moral code... The pets: I have two new rats, Magik and Mojo. I didn't want to enter the rat game again, but rescues occurred and poof, here they are. Rommie just had tooth surgery #3 and recovered immediately. Delilah is.. Delilah. :) I am considering getting a Ph.D now... I got into UWM's Modern Studies program, but don't know how to fund it. I can't get financial aid if I only take one class, and I can't teach full-time and take more than one class... Dilemma. I can't afford to pay out of pocket either. Now I am considering doing a Ph.D in Educational Policy at Marquette becuase it would be free. We'll see. I am excited about Barack Obama's imminent candidacy, but need it to be a sure thing before I celebrate. The Clintons are insidious... Well, that's it. Party on, my friends!
