EpilogueRuby and Silas grew older to have four other children. When Wolf was four he got a little sister named after Rose. She had long golden hair with a thinner face, like Silas, and blue eyes. Seven years later, when Wolf was eleven and Rose was seven, they got a little brother named after Ruby’s little brother Jacob. He had a rounder face, like Ruby, and straight brown hair which was usually cut in a bowl haircut. Then three years later Silas was born, not Silas Michael Greyson, but Silas Kevin Greyson. Silas and Ruby had their fifth child two years later only a few months before they died. Her name was Jasmine. She had auburn hair with bright green eyes and a rounder face like Ruby, Wolf, and Jacob.
Silas never stayed in close contact with his family after the wedding, well, except for James, Rose, and his mother. Rose married Daniel and they had two sons together. They lived on a ranch until they died. James really didn’t get onto settling down until he was about 32, when he met a female wolf and they settled down. They never produced any children. Mr. Kinston died about eight years after Ruby and Silas got married. He was buried next to his beloved wife, and every now and again Ruby and Silas would go down to his grave and lay flowers on it. Princess Lavender grew up to be the proud queen of the Eighth Kingdom. Although she didn’t stay in close contact with Ruby and Silas, she still sent them gifts and sometimes talked to them through a mirror.
Jasmine grew older to be neither a good nor bad queen, but she did a fairly good job. She and Patrick had one child, a daughter, who would one day be the Red Riding-Hood the Third you see at Wendell’s coronation. Patrick died about thirty years after he and Jasmine married. A few years later Jasmine retired her crown and royal duties, and passed them on to her daughter, Melanie. Before Ruby and Silas died, their home had grown to be two stories, with two bedrooms on the top floor and one bedroom one the first floor. There was also a kitchen and a family/dining room. On the outside of their home Ruby had created a garden with all sorts of vegetables, and they made a pump that connected to the stream. All of their worldly possessions were lost when Silas was falsely accused of murder and he and Ruby were burnt at the stake, and so was their home. Their five children got separated from each other and wouldn’t see one another for sixteen and a half years... but well, that’s another story.
