Once Upon a Lifetime – By Kazza Part 58
The hot sun streaming through her window woke Liz quickly from her slumbers. For a moment she was disorientated, unsure where she was. Then it suddenly dawned on her, she had just woken up on the morning of her wedding. Smiling, she laid there for a while, thinking about what the day would hold for her, thinking about her wedding and her soon to be husband. She was just dreaming about Max, when her peacefulness was broken in spectacular fashion. Bundling into her room came Maria, Isabelle and Diane, all with huge grins on their faces. “Hi Liz!” Isabelle said happily. “Morning bride to be!” Maria added gleefully. “Did you sleep well?” Diane enquired. “Wow you guys are happy today!” Liz commented, sitting up in bed. “Of course we are, you’re getting married!” Isabelle replied, as if she was informing Liz of the fact for the first time. “Married? And there was me thinking it was just an ordinary day.” Liz said, trying to act calm. “Liz! Aren’t you the least bit excited?” Maria enquired. “Of course I am!” Liz replied, jumping out of bed and hugging her friends, unable to keep her calm pretence up any longer. “Ok, who’s for fresh fruit on the veranda?” Diane suggested, watching three hungry faces light up. They all giggled and chattered their way through breakfast, everyone enjoying the spread Diane had prepared. Everyone except Liz that was. The food was wonderful, and she was hungry, but she knew she just couldn’t eat it. Her stomach was churning around; doing mega flips each time she thought about seeing Max again. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to eat, more that just the though of food made her feel sick, she was too excited to eat. Diane scolded her gently, telling Liz she had to eat something, and in the end Liz helped herself to some water melon to please her soon to be mother-in-law. She picked at the pink fruit rather than ate it, wishing the next few hours away in her head so she could chivvy her wedding along. Watching from the sand, Michael kept a strong eye on his friend who was tearing up the water several feet away. Max was out in the sea swimming like his life depended on it. Against Michael’s better judgement Max had insisted on going for a swim when he woke up. Michael had offered to go with him, some friendly company, by Max had told him he needed some space alone and didn’t need a lifeguard. “Is he still out there?” Philip commented. “Yeah, and if he doesn’t come in soon I’m gonna go out there and drag him back in. Geez what’s he trying to do to my nerves? What do I tell Liz if anything happens, oh he just wanted to go for a swim?” Michael panicked. “Relax Michael, Max is a good swimmer, I’m sure he’ll be fine. He’s just got a lot of bent up energy to burn off, it’s just nervous excitement.” “Couldn’t he have burned it off some other way? A way in which I don’t get a heart attack every time he ducks under the water?” Michael complained. “He’ll
be back on dry land soon, just keep an eye on him.” Liz’s wish for the morning to fly past was granted, before she knew it the time was a little after 12.00 noon and it was time to start getting ready. As she sat in a chair with her head tilted back, Liz wished there was someone who could take a picture of her. She had Isabelle behind her washing her hair and Maria in front of her filing and buffing her nails. It was a very surreal feeling for Liz, she wasn’t used to being pampered, and struggled to enjoy the new experience. “How’s the patient doing?” Diane joked, watching her daughter and friend at work. “Mmm not bad I guess, but Liz your nail base is a mess, when did you last buff?” Maria asked in all seriousness. “I’m sorry Maria, I’ve had a lot of things on my mind, what with the house hunting, and working, oh and the little business of a wedding to plan. The state of my nails wasn’t particularly high on my list of things to do.” Liz replied sarcastically. “Ok, that’s me done. Now we need to leave the conditioner on for about five minutes to get the fullest effect, and then we can wash it out.” Isabelle informed, allowing Liz to lift her head forward again. “Well I’m not finished yet, so keep still!” Maria instructed, coating Liz’s nail with a plum coloured nail varnish. All too soon, Isabelle’s and Maria’s pampering was complete and it was time for Liz to slip on her wedding dress. The simple, light dress fell down her slim body with ease, leaving a trail of goose bumps in its wake. Slipping her feet into dainty cream sandals, Liz was finally ready. Waiting out on the veranda were Diane, Maria and Isabelle. Liz’s two friends were dressed identically, as her bridesmaids, in short lilac dresses, with thin straps and a small posy of flowers in their hand. They were chattering away and at first Isabelle and Maria didn’t notice their friend had stepped out into the sun. It was only when Diane gasped a breath of surprisement and amazement, that their attention was directed to the door of the cabin. “Oh Liz!” Isabelle exclaimed. “Wow!” Maria said, totally speechless. “You look amazing.” Diane added, tears forming in her eyes at the sight of her son’s fiancée. She really did look a vision. Her wedding dress so simple but classy, the chiffon over coat with small train finishing it off perfectly. Her hair had been expertly scooped up by Isabelle into a French pleat, with small white flowers inserted to enhance her appearance. Around her neck Liz wore the beautiful ruby pendant Max had bought her for the Christmas Party, and in her ears a pair of diamond studs. Make up had been kept to a minimum, under Isabelle’s instructions. Just a little foundation, eye make up and a touch of lipstick to enhance her already perfect features. Blinking away tears, Liz stared back at her friends, watching the awe and amazement spread over their faces. She had managed to silence both Maria and Isabelle, not a mean feat, but she needed their words of encouragement to make her feet work. She wasn’t afraid of marrying Max, just a little afraid in case he didn’t like what she was wearing, and a touch nervous. “Someone say something, please.” She pleaded, choking back the emotion in her voice. Tears were threatening to well in her eyes, and it took every bit of Liz’s will power to keep them at bay. “I think my son won’t know what has hit him when he sees you.” Diane said softly, gently hugging the young girl. “And I think Max has excellent taste in women.” She added. “I agree, you look so beautiful Liz, I can’t wait to see Max’s reaction.” Isabelle said, lightly kissing her friend’s cheek. “’Ria?” Liz asked tentatively, her friend’s chin still welded to the floor in amazement . “You ………… look …………….. wow!” Maria replied, tears beginning to spill down her cheeks. She was so close to Liz, they were practically like sisters, and to see Liz all made up, dressed ready to marry Max was too much for Maria. “Hey, don’t cry! You’ll make me cry!” Liz scolded gently, as her friend hugged her. “I just can’t believe how beautiful you look Liz, you’re just gonna knock him dead!” “Well I want him to be pleased, but knocked dead is a little over the top.” Liz replied, trying to bring some lightheartedness to the group. The last thing she wanted to do was cry, and she knew she was on the verge of it at that moment. Taking in a few deep breaths, Liz tried to regain control of her emotions, not wanting to ruin her make up before she saw Max. “Well my dear, I think it’s time for your wedding.” Diane said softly, watching Liz’s eyes dance at the prospect. Heading down towards the shorefront, Liz stopped by some palm trees where Alex was waiting. From her vantage point, Liz could see the back of Max’s head, as he talked to the registrar performing the ceremony. “Liz you look stunning.” Alex said softly, kissing her cheek. “Thanks Alex. How’s Max?” She asked tentatively. “He’ll be all the better to see you I can assure you.” He replied, throwing the bride to be a huge smile. Watching Diane kiss Liz, he saw his friend’s mother disappear down to the shorefront. It was time to get this wedding on the road, he thought to himself. “You ready?” Alex asked gently, holding his arm out so Liz could link hers with it. She’d been a loss at first on who to ask to give her away, Michael was already taken as Max’s best man, and that left a perfect choice. Alex. He was bowled over to be asked to give Liz away, taking it as a personal joy and honour to perform such an important task. “Yeah Alex, I’m ready.” Liz replied, taking a deep breath of fresh air and holding her head up high. Swallowing a couple of times, Liz tried to quell the rising lump of emotion in her throat. She really didn’t want to cry, but seeing Max, if only the back of his head, made her eyes well up with happiness. Inside, her heart grew for Max even more; she loved him wholeheartedly, like she’d never loved anyone before. “I think we’re ready to begin.” The registrar informed his very small congregation. Signally for everyone to stand up, the sound of a musical rendition of ‘Can you feel the love tonight’ from the Lion King suddenly broke the silence of the deserted beach. Jumping to his feet, Max resisted the strong urge to turn around and sneak a glance at Liz. He knew she would look beautiful, no matter what dress she had chosen, and he desperately wanted to see her. But he also knew it was bad luck to turn around before she reached his side. Not wanting to jinx their wedding before they’d got married, Max clasped his hands into fists to keep hold of his self-control. Glancing back at their friend one more time, Isabelle and Maria walked down the small red carpet that had been laid on top of the sand. Inside they were both filled with emotions, happiness, tearfulness and a little nervousness. The day had been planned meticulously, and it was suddenly upon them. Reaching the end, they both stepped to their right, standing the opposite side of the carpet to Philip and Diane. “I think it’s our turn now.” Alex whispered quietly, turning to Liz and seeing her struggling to contain her emotions. “You ok?” He added. Unable to form real words, Liz just nodded her head. Had she been able to speak, no words could have described how she felt at that very moment. She was about to walk down the short isle to the man of her dreams. The man who had accepted her with open arms, who had helped her through rough times, lending her a shoulder to cry on, and also loved her through the good times. Max was everything she wanted in a man and so much more. He was caring, sweet, handsome, a perfect gentleman, more than Liz thought she deserved sometimes. Smiling weakly at Alex, she took in another deep breath and faced the front once more. Slowly placing one foot in front of the other, Liz glided down the isle towards the man she intended to spend the rest of her life with.
Part 59
Taking a tentative hold of Alex’s arm, the two of them slowly started their descent down the isle. Tears filled her eyes as each faltering step took her that little bit closer to her husband to be. Blotting her eye quickly with the palm of her hand, Liz tried desperately to regain a hold on her awry emotions. As she floated up beside him, Max finally turned to look at his fiancée for the very first time that day. His breath was instantly taken away as his eyes lovingly surveyed her. She looked stunning, beautiful, and breathtaking …… in fact, as Max thought about it; there wasn’t a single word that could adequately describe how striking Liz looked at that very moment. She was simply a vision in a pure white haze. Leaning back and handing Isabelle her posy of white roses, Liz turned round and finally looked up at Max. His eyes shone through the amazing love he felt for her right then. It was a surreal moment for the young couple, time seemed to stand still as their eyes finally locked. Everyone around them seemed to pale into insignificance, to Max and Liz the only two people on the island at that moment was them. Love flowed freely between the two as bright smiles crept across their faces and shone out brightly. Every person watching on couldn’t help but notice how much this moment meant to Max and Liz. The registrar’s gentle words finally broke through the silence and seemed to just swirl around the couple, both Max and Liz contently concentrating solely on each other. Until, that is, it came time to exchange the vows they’d written themselves. “You are my sunshine, my ray of light. You brighten each day I wake up with you. Your love makes my heart fly to the sky and back, you are the joy in my life Liz.” Max said, taking the ring from the silk pillow the Registrar was holding and placing it at the top of her finger. “I give you my heart and soul as we exchange these vows.” He added, carefully pushing the ring on to Liz’s trembling finger. “You are my support, my tower of strength, my love. You give me a reason to live each day to the full. You shower me with more love than I though I ever deserved. You make me feel so very special, you make my life complete Max.” She said, taking his ring. “I give you my heart and soul as we exchange these vows.” She added, her voice crackling slightly through emotion as she put the ring on his finger. “Max, Liz, it gives me immense pleasure to announce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your new wife Max.” The Registrar said, smiling at them. Pulling Liz into his arms, he stared into her eyes for a moment, watching them sparkle with emotion. Smiling softly, he dipped his head and kissed his new wife. It was a passionate, no restraint kiss, sealing everything they were feeling at that very moment. The kiss seemed to go on forever, and when they eventually parted, Max saw a tear of joy spill down Liz’s face. Catching it with the pad of his finger, he smiled at Liz before they turned to face their friends. “You look truly amazing Liz.” Max said, as they walked back up to isle. “That dress is simply breathtaking.” He added. “Don’t Max, you’ll make me cry!” She replied, as they headed up to the veranda of the large cabin. Taking a drink from the waiter, Max and Liz were given a few minutes to mingle with their family and friends before the photographer needed them for photo taking. Taking the newlyweds away from the cabins, the photographer found a quiet spot by a clump of palm trees. The shaded area was perfect to take some relaxed, natural shots. Positioning the couple, the photographer returned to her camera. “Have I told you yet how amazingly beautiful you look?” Max said gently, bending his head almost close enough to kiss her. “Mmm, yes, but you can keep saying it.” She replied, looking up at him with impish eyes and a grin over her face. At that moment, their photographer knew she had to capture the pose. Clicking the button quickly a couple of times, she was sure she had the perfect picture. The couple were obviously very much in love, that was plainly obvious to see, but their pose had been perfect. Max, dipping in as if to almost kiss her, and Liz listening intently to his words but indicating she wanted more than words. It was a simple stance, but one that just screamed pure, unadulterated love. After several more pictures of the happy couple alone, the rest of their party were introduced for many more pictures. An hour later though they were able to relax and sit down. Their table had been laid out with various foods for their wedding meal. Now that the formalities of the day were over, everyone was calm and comfortable. Chatting away over their meal, they exchanged stories of the previous night. By the time their desert of fresh honeydew melon with raspberry and blackcurrant coulee was served, Max decided it was time to say a few words to his family and friends. Pushing back his chair, he rose to his feet, all the time keeping a firm hold on Liz’s tender hand. “Ok, I know this is a very informal wedding, and there are only a few of us here, but I’d like to say a few words, as is customary at weddings.” He started. “Firstly, on behalf of my wife and I, I’d like to thank you all for sharing this special day with us.” Max said, smiling at the ‘ooohs’ from his words ‘my wife’ “Mum, dad, Isabelle, thank you for accepting Liz into our family with open arms. Michael, Maria, you are great friends and I thank you for your support also.” He said pausing for a moment. “And Alex, thank you too for giving Liz away to me today, and who knows one day may be you’ll be part of the family by wedding title too!” Max grinned, ignoring the glared look from Isabelle. “But most of all I want to thank my beautiful wife Liz. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive today.” He added, watching Liz’s eyes well up in tears once more. “You are more than welcome for our support Max, you know you will always have it son. Liz you are a wonderful young lady, who we invite into our family graciously and with arms opened wide. You make a lovely couple ……. and I do believe my son had inherited my excellent taste in women!” Philip replied, making everyone laugh once more. “Well I think it’s time to propose a toast.” Michael said, raising his glass. “A toast to the happy wedding couple, Max and Liz.” He said as everyone chimed his words, echoing his sentiments. By the time their meal was over, the sun was starting to set. Moving back to the beach where they had exchanged their vows earlier, the lads proceeded to gather some driftwood to build a fire. Once the fire started roaring, everyone sat down to chat some more. Sitting down first, Max pulled Liz down so that she sat between his legs, making it easy for him to hold her tightly. He didn’t want the day to end, or for him ever to have to relinquish his stunning bride from his arms. Everything was so perfect, he wished he could pause the moment in time and hold on to it forever. “What are you thinking about?” Liz enquired, seeing Max staring into the fire. “What? Oh, just how wonderfully perfect this day has been.” “And still is ……. it’s not over yet!” She whispered into his ear. “And what does that mean Mrs Evans?” He countered. “Ahhh, I guess you’ll just have to wait and see!” Liz grinned. “That still feels really strange thought Max, I can’t believe I’m Mrs Evans now.” She admitted. “I
know, but I hope you’ll be able to get used to it.” “Ok guys, I know its your wedding day and everything, but quit the mushy stuff just for a few moments.” Isabelle instructed. “Sorry Is.” Max dutifully replied, knowing he was anything but sorry for kissing his new wife. “Whatever. Now I know this hasn’t been the most conventional wedding, but there is something I think you two need to do.” Isabelle said. “Huh?” Max choked, his mind on a completely different track to his sister’s. “Get your mind out of the gutter Maxwell!” Michael replied, smirking. “Not that Max! At least, not yet.” Isabelle said, realising where Max’s mind had been wandering. “No, you and Liz have to have your first dance as a married couple.” “And we are going to do that how Isabelle?” Max countered. “We’re on a deserted island, music isn’t that readily available.” He added. “Ahhh, that’s where I come in!” Alex grinned, producing a stereo system from behind him. “Really great Alex, but just where are you gonna find electricity around here?” “You know Max, there is this really nifty devise …….. really ingenious …….. it’s called batteries!” Alex replied. “So, come on you two, on your feet!” Isabelle instructed, as Alex set up the CD. Kicking off her shoes, Liz stood up and moved slightly closer to the fire. Feeling Max step close, she eagerly accepted his warm arms that snaked around her tiny waist. Staring up into his eyes, Liz wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him that bit closer to her body. She wanted him close, as close as they could get without being one. Taking a breath, Max gently kissed her forehead, as they both waited for the music to fill the peaceful island. The only sound that could be heard for a few seconds was gentle waves brushing against the shore, adding to the perfect ambience of the moment. It's
hard for me to say the things I
want to say sometimes There's
no one here but you and me And
that broken old street light Lock
the doors We'll
leave the world outside All
I've got to give to you Are these five words when I Swaying
around gently, the next words to the song seemed perfect for them at that very
moment. Thank
you for loving me For
being my eyes, when I couldn't see For
parting my lips, when I couldn't breathe Thank
you for loving me Thank you for loving me Taking breath, Max felt the beautiful perfume Liz was wearing invade his senses. Dancing around a roaring fire, under the moonlight with Liz tightly in his arms, things didn’t get much better than that. She was his dream, his perfect reality; she made his life worth living so beautifully. He couldn’t imagine ever not having the amazing Liz Evans in his life, in his arms, in his heart and soul. I
never knew I had a dream Until
that dream was you When
I look into your eyes The
sky's a different blue Cross
my heart I
wear no disguise If
I tried, you'd make believe That you believed my lies Staring up into his deep brown eyes, Liz tried desperately to hold on to her emotions. Once more her tears of joy threatened to spill down her face, she felt like that was all she’d done all day, cry. Yet it signified how wonderful her day had been, and still was. She loved Max so much sometimes it hurt. He had brought her so much immense joy, more than she ever felt possible or that she deserved. You
pick me up when I fall down You
ring the bell before they count me out If
I was drowning you would part the sea And
risk your own life to rescue me Staring up
at them, six people took in the sight in front of them and couldn’t deny what
they saw. The immeasurable love Max
and Liz gave off was infectious, making all around them feeling happy and joyous
too. Maria felt
Michael inch closer and put his arms around her, and she couldn’t help but
smile. In such a short time she had
totally transformed her life. She’d gone from a wacky blond who didn’t know where her
life was leading, to a wacky blond with a handsome guy whom she loved with all
her heart. “That’ll
be us one day.” Michael whispered
into her ear, breaking her self-induced daydream. “You
think?” She questioned. “No
………. I know.” He replied
strongly, bending in and gently kissing her lips to seal all that he’d just
said. It wasn’t just words for
the moment Michael had just said. Right
then he knew he’d found the one woman he wished to spend his whole life with.
In his heart he knew one day he would make Maria is wife too, and he
would become the happiest man alive. When
I couldn't fly Oh,
you gave me wings You
parted my lips When
I couldn't breathe Thank
you for loving me I Gently
kissing the top of his wife’s head, Philip stared at his son, and then his new
daughter-in-law. They both looked
so happy, like nothing in the world would ever hurt them.
Watching
Max twirling around with his new bride, made him think back to when he’d
married the love of his life. He could remember being just like Max, feeling like he was on
top of the world, so happy he could literally burst. In his heart, he hoped Max would have as many happy years
with Liz as he’d had with Diane. Thank
you for loving me For
being my eyes When
I couldn't see For
parting my lips When
I couldn't breathe Thank
you for loving me Thank
you for loving me Watching
the tears slowly tumble down her cheeks, Max wished there was something he could
do. She looked so happy, but the
tears still wouldn’t abate. Moving
his hand to the back of her head, Max gently pulled her towards him, allowing
Liz to bury her head in his chest. The tears continued to fall as the music encased them, making
the moment even better than perfect. Thank
you for loving me Under
the gaze of a few stars and the sparkling moonlight the romantic dance
continued, no one wanting the magic of it to ever end. Once
the music abated, Max and Liz slowly came back down to earth, and relinquished
the tight grip they had on each other. The
ability to exist without touching some part of the other still wasn’t possible
though. In each of their minds they
knew they had to keep connected with the other.
Holding hands, kissing, wrapped in arms, touching cheeks, anything to
keep them bound as one. Sitting
down again, the group descended into chatted and reminiscing over the orange hue
of the crackling fire for quite a while. It
wasn’t that the fire was needed for heat, no one was cold, more to add
atmosphere to the already emotionally charged evening. Diane
recounted stories of her children when they were younger, much to the
embarrassment of Max and Isabelle, with Maria, Michael and Alex laughing. To Maria and Michael, it felt good to be apart of the
wonderful family atmosphere the Evans always managed to create, giving them a
taste of what family life should have been like for them during their
childhoods. Liz,
on the other hand, spent most of the time gazing lovingly at her new husband.
Try as she might, she struggled to get the realisation to sink in.
Max was no longer just her boss; he was more, so much more. He was her heart, her soul, her very being, he was her life.
From that moment onward she couldn’t imagine Max not being right beside
her, holding her tightly in his arms and guiding her through the new chapter in
her eventful life. Adding
another log to the fire, Philip watched Diane and Isabelle disappear for a few
moments, only to return with a blanket, which was folded neatly. “Is?”
Max queried, wondering what his sister was going. “We
thought you and Liz might want to make your day even more special ……… and
sleep under the stars tonight.” Isabelle
said, as everyone else stood up, signally it was time to turn in for the night. “Have
fun!” Michael remarked, as he
started to walk away. “I
hope this day has been all you dreamed of Liz, you certainly deserved it.
I love you.” Maria said, hugging her best friend. “It
has Maria, and so much more. Thank
you for sharing this special day and for being such a wonderful friend to me.
I love you too.” Liz replied, as a tear seeped out of her eye. Quietness
descended on the beach the moment their friends had departed, leaving Max and
Liz alone on the sand with the fire and blanket. “Come
here babe.” Max said quietly,
sensing Liz’s overwhelming emotions of the day’s events.
Pulling her into his arms, he held her close, enveloping her in warmth
and safe feelings. “This
is all a dream.” She breathed
against his neck. “Yeah,
a technicolor dream that I hope will never end, but only get bigger, brighter
and better.” He replied softly. “Can
it get any better Max?” “I
think so.” He said, lifting her
head up so that he could look into her tear filled eyes. Bending
his head down, Max softly brushed his lips against hers, before taking them in a
fiercely passionate embrace. The
love they felt ran deep inside their veins at that moment, connecting and mixing
with the other to produce a love so strong nothing could ever break it. Gently,
Max eased them down on the blanket Isabelle had laid out, but not once breaking
contact with Liz’s lips. Running
her hands up, Liz placed them on Max’s hips, before taking grasp of his crisp
white shirt and pulling it out of the confinements of his trousers. Slipping her hands underneath, her fingers connected with the
toned muscles of his chest, and the feelings sent shockwaves tumbling down her
spine. He
was on fire; all she’d done was touch his bare skin, but that was all it had
taken. His head flooded with the
familiar dizzy, almost falling, feeling, the one that he identified as the
‘Liz effect’. It was true, no
one had ever made him feel like that before, and he knew no one ever would after
Liz. Her
nimble fingers deftly popped open the buttons to his shirt, before pulling the
material apart. The sight in front
of her was breathtaking. His tanned
skin shone up at her, glazed with a silver hue given off from the sparkling moon
in the sky. Slowly
leaning his hand round, Max reluctantly eased the zip down of her beautiful
dress. Part of him was sad to take
it off her delicate body. It was
such an amazing dress, so completely perfect for her, he felt slightly guilty to
be the one to end her day of wearing it. But
end it he did, as the zip fell apart Max gently eased the two tiny straps away
from her shoulders and down her shapely arms.
Pausing for a moment, Max leant in and trailed kisses up her first arm,
before pausing and doing the same with her other arm.
A simple snap and her bra fell away into his hands, leaving her upper
body completely exposed. Leaning
her backwards so she laid out on the blanket, Max shed his open shirt before
returning to her. Gently he placed
a palm on her cheek and just looked at her for a moment, captured, frozen as he
drunk in the amazing beauty of his new wife.
Finally
coming back to the task at hand, Max leant in and captured one of her perfect
breasts in his mouth. The low
moaning from Liz played havoc with his self-control, and informed his brain that
she most certainly was enjoying his onslaught.
Running
her fingers across his shoulders, Liz couldn’t resist the urge to drag her
fingernails down the length of his back. The
deep growl that sprung from his throat signalled that he approved.
His
lips trailed along her upper body, along her shoulder blade before he attacked
her inviting neck. His hot kisses
scorched her skin sending Liz spiralling out of control. Putting
her hands on his cheeks, Liz pulled his head up so that she could capture his
lips. Taking them hostage, she
started the passionate kiss. Running
her tongue gently across his bottom lip, she enjoyed the sensation, before
dipping forward and allowing their tongues to duel in a winless battle.
Hot, scorching, passionate, loving, it was an amazing blend of what
they’d experienced that day, in such a simple action.
It was a clinch so hot that an onlooker would wonder whether it was the
fire or the connected couple giving off more heat. Finally
coming up for air, Liz reached for the belt holding his trousers up.
Allowing her fingers to do the work, she deftly undid the belt, the
button and the slowly but surely undid the zip.
She
was driving him crazy with her gentle actions.
Inside he felt like he was going to burst, the heat building inside him
well over boiling point. He needed
her so badly it was almost painful. Pushing
her dress all the way off her delicate body, Max ran his fingers back up her
naked legs. All that covered her
now were the tiny lace panties, and Max felt his breath taken away instantly. “God
you are so beautiful Liz.” He
whispered huskily. “What did I do
to deserve such a goddess?” He
added, nipping at her jaw line with his lips. “Ditto.”
She managed to force out of mouth, her voice severed by the passion
consuming every centimetre of her body. Slipping
her hands down under his trousers, Liz pushed them away, before doing the same
to his boxers. She paused for a
moment, watching the midnight sky glisten over his rippling muscles.
Continuing in her quest, she stretched her hand over his stomach, past
his thighs to the place where he ached the most. Her
tiny hands encircling and cupping his most sensitive part nearly did him in, and
Max found himself dragging in very deep breaths in an attempt to calm his racing
heartbeat and raging hormones. Taking
her queue, Max slipped his hands across her arms, down her sides until he
reached the soft lacy material of her underwear.
Placing his fingers either side, he gently eased them down, so that she
too was free of confinements of any clothing. Wrapping
her arms around his neck, Liz pulled Max back down to her, and allowed him to
crush his lips on top of hers. Passion
erupted once more, as the kiss rapidly spun out of control.
Grabbling helplessly at each other, they both tried to quell slightly the
feelings rampaging through their bodies. But
their actions only served to heighten their already charged emotions, pushing
them further, making them both need more, crave fulfilment. Knowing
his resolve was almost at bursting point, Max stretched his hand out to touch
Liz where she ached the most. On
first contact, she cried out, images flying through her mind heightening her
senses even further. Not
being able to pull back any longer, Max returned lips to hers and kissed her
passionately once more. As they
duelled, he gave into the craving drowning his body, and finally entered her,
making them as one. The
soft sighs emitted from both of them were ones of satisfaction, finally finding
comfort in the place they knew as heaven. Pushing
his body up on his forearms, Max gently eased out of his new wife, before
plunging back in. The rhythm was
slow, tender and loving, Max wanting to prolong the moment, and make it perfect
all at the same time. Soon
though, desires that ran thick through their veins took over, pushing them
faster. Upping the pace, Max took
control and pushed them harder, faster, driving them on to their mutual goal. “Oh
Max!” She cried softly, as the
first ripples of amazing feelings washed over her body. Driving
harder, Liz finally tumbled over the edge of reality and plunged helplessly but
eagerly into oblivion. Wave after
wave of pure ecstasy coated her body, sending her mind spinning out of control.
Within
a moment, Max had joined her in the heaven, his own pleasure drowning his
worn-out body. As
the last few ripples surged through their bodies, Max collapsed on top of her,
his body completely spent, all energy levels dropping to near zero. Finally
finding an iota of energy, Max clasped his arms around her back, and gently
rolled them over. Softly kissing
his bare chest, Liz gently laid her head on his body.
Sighing she felt the complete perfectness of the moment fill her body. Picking
up part of the blanket, Max gently pulled it across their naked forms, just in
case a member of his family walked out on them in the morning. Wrapping
his arms tightly around her naked body, Max kissed the top of her head and
pulled her body as close to his as he possibly could. “Goodnight
Mrs Evans.” He whispered. “’Night
Mr Evans.” She replied sleepily. “Sweet
dreams babe.” He added, before
they both quietly slipped into the magical world of dreams. And that night they had wonderful dreams, dreams of the day of their wedding, the day when everything in the world had been simply perfect.
