Chapter 1:
It has been 5 years since Sheridan Left for Paris with a broken heart, she wondered the streets of Paris, with a Lonely, Sad and depressed look upon her face especially today as what it was, Valentine's Day when all the lovers celebrated and here she was all alone, why was she here anyway, Paris was the City of Lights and Lovers.
She looked up and the bright lights of the city were shinning throughout the night sky.
Couples everywhere surrounded the streets, holding hands, kissing, laughing and dancing they were holding a massive Valentine's Dance out in the streets of Paris, Today was one of the most important days here and every year there was a huge celebration for people in love, for lovers everywhere in the world.
" City of lights...yeah.. City of Love.. not for me"
Sheridan sighed and strolls along as she sees people kissing .
It makes her ill as she remembers the last time she felt that way, so secure and so in love seemed like a lifetime ago.
FLASHBACK
"I love you Luis"
Sheridan whispered into his ear as they were dancing cheek by cheek at the Harmony's Youth Center Ritural Valentine's Dance.
"And i love you so very much, always and forever"
Luis said as she brings her hands up to his lips and kisses her fingertips.
"Promise you'll never leave me, that we'll be together forever"
Sheridan's voice turned all serious she wasn't smiling any longer , her eyes were like a pool of silence.
Luis looked her straight in the eyes keeping their eyes locked together as he spoke.
"Sheridan, i love you no matter what, now and forever nothing will ever take me away from you.
Nothing or no-one could ever get me to leave you, do you hear i don’t want to think i ever will that’s just not a option, i love you too much and im here with you till the end of time."
Luis then cupped her chin with the palm of his hand and slowly kissed her soft sweet lips.
The kiss was sweet, slow and romantic then it deepened, their lips tasting each other, the sensation overcoming them.

Sheridan shook her head back to reality to the solid truth to what her life is now to the lonely, dark days of her life, the cold empty nights with no-one to share it with.
"Loves me forever??? Always going to be with me! And never leave, what a liar , liar, liar, liar"
Sheridan cursed him getting madder by the minute.
Sheridan's _expression turned angry hating herself for even thinking of the good times.
"He never loved me, all lies, should have never trusted him, im sick of him and all the lies"
She then rushed off , wanting to get away from this, the memories , everything.
Meanwhile in Harmony:
Luis was in his office at the Youth Center doing some paperwork on his desk, hearing the music from the dance there brought back memories when Sheridan was here with him.
He picked up a photo frame with a picture with her in it; looking into her sky blue eyes she looked so happy, they were happy.
" Sheridan i miss you so much, i wonder what happened between us, why did you leave me, why did you leave Harmony so suddenly all those years ago"
He asked the photo, expecting to hear a answer but knew he wouldn’t.
Luis had tried to find out her whereabouts after she left but no-one seemed to know and if her father and brother knew they certainly would not tell him of all people he knew if Sheridan didn't want to be found she can make herself disappear with nothing linking to her.
He searched for months and months and turning up with nothing, everyone family, friends tried to console him in his despair but no-one could bring the one thing he wanted, needed the most Sheridan back to him.
Luis got up and walked toward the window, looking out at the bright star sky.
"I wonder where you are Sheridan, i wonder what you are doing if you are happy i miss and love you every minute of every day and i pray one day you'll come back to me"
Luis breathed a sigh of hope, he will never love anyone else but her and that will never change no matter what.

Chapter 2:
Tears ran down Sheridan's eyes as she walked back to the hotel she just couldn't stop.
"darn him"
She thought for making her cry she was stronger than this ,she got mad at him for making her feel this way.
As soon as she opened her hotel room door her phone started ringing automatically.
"Geeze, so not now i am not in the mood"
Sheridan said to the phone as it kept ringing.
She walked over to the window for some night air she felt like she was suffocating.
A minute later the answering machine picked up and a Woman's voice spoke through the phone.
"Sheridan? Are you there i really need to speak to you.. well looks like your not there its Ethan ... he was involved in a accident and he's hospitalized ..please as soon as you get this message call me as soon as you can its urgent"
As soon as she heard Ethan's name mentioned she sped to the phone and quickly picked it up just in time just as Ivy was about to hang up the receiver.
Ethan was like family to her even if he turned out not to be her nephew that did not change her feelings toward him she still felt like he was and nothing will make her stop loving him.
"hello, ivy yes sorry i am here, now what is it with Ethan"
She spoke in a worried voice through the receiver, she prayed that he was not in serious condition she cant stand to not have him in her life, Ethan is the most positive thing in her life right now even after everything that went on back in Harmony.
"Oh My Sheridan Ethan was involved in a major car crash and the doctor just informed us that he now has slipped into a coma Theresa has been with him but they say there's a slight chance he'll wake up, please he needs you please Sheridan come home im begging for Ethan’s sake.
I know you have had trouble here but i wouldn't ask if it wasn't a emergency you know i would do anything for Ethan and i know you would as well so will you? Will you come home?"
Ivy emotionally said her hands trembling as she was trying to hold the phone.
Sheridan looked around the room trying to clear her head as of what to do, she wants desperately to be there by Ethan’s side because she loves him and would do anything for him but then again going back then means she might run into Luis and she wants to prevent that.
Sheridan is just so confused she doesn't know what to do.
"Maybe i should just go and avoid everything that reminds me of him and just stay clear of Luis no matter what"
She thought to herself.
Sheridan knew she may regret this one day but here goes.
"Okay , Ivy ive thought this though and im doing this for Ethan and Ethan only if it was not for him then i would never step a foot in that place for the rest of my life, so i will get a flight tonight and i'll see you when i get into town okay, fine .. thanks. Bye..."
Sheridan responded then hung the reciever up putting it on the hook.
"I really hope im doing the right thing going back there, too many memories, too many things happened i want to forget"
She sighed and called the airline she had booked a flight for that night which only leaves her a few hours to get packed and to the airport and she didn't even know how long she was going to be there, til Ethan is well again and who knows how long that will be.
She went into the bedroom, opened the closet and pulled out her suitcase and began to pack.
Sheridan always loved to do things with music so she without thinking turned on the radio and what was playing none other than "their” song.

Sheridan fell to the floor next to the radio and began to listen to the lyrics remembering all the times her and Luis had danced to this song, so in love, they were so perfect together everyone could see that from a mile off. Her head was spinning of memories of their life together, the parties they attended, how he made her feel, the kissing , when they made love, he made her feel so loved, so secure, where were those times when did it all go wrong when she felt , when she thought it was forever.

The song ended as her mind swirled around in circles as it brings back memories of how things turned from good to bad when she found out he lied to her that he never loved her and never will. Sheridan laid down on the floor as she waited for the dizziness to fade she closed her eyes and her mind played back to those turn of events.
Flashback
Sheridan wanted to surprise Luis at the youth center with dinner plans a special night for just the two of them, she walked in there and stopped at the door as she saw Luis talking to Hank and the guys about her at first she was flattered Luis would be telling the whole world how much he loved her but that’s not what happened, they were all laughing and joking or so it seems but what they were saying was no joke it was cruel.
"And yeah i don’t love her, i never have and never will how can i ever love a Crane, i hate her family, blood is thicker than water"
Luis laughed at her with his buddies and they all found it hilarious making fun of her and she couldn't believe she was fooled into thinking he was sincere about his love , he suckered her in with his charm and good looks she should have kept her original opinion of him when she first came to Harmony that he was a macho pig and is only out for himself and this proves it.
This upset Sheridan terribly she thought she had finally found someone who loved her for who she was and not what she was and not for her money she thought Luis was that person she so much wanted to believe that. All her life she was involved with guys were only used her for her money and she let them because she craved the love that she never had as a child and now she finds out Luis is just like all the other jerks who used her, it hurt like crazy even more so than the others because she was truly, utterly in love with him she thought he was the one and true love of her life, what a fool she had been. Sheridan then rushed out of the youth center without having Luis see that she overheard them. She opened the door ran outside and began to sob all the way home which is where she packed up and left.
End of Flashback
Luis couldn't take it anymore he had to get out of this place he felt so caged he just wanted to go home and sleep this night off til tomorrow.
He packs up his things and takes off for the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, he droves off in his police car thinking about all the good times with Sheridan and starts to wonder again why she left without saying a word to him he had thought they were happy then one day he cant find her and boom she is out of his life forever and she has disappeared without a trace.
A few short minutes later Luis arrives at his place, gets out of the car reaches over for his paperwork he may can do later, he stepped inside the front door and walked into the kitchen put his work down on the counter and saw that Pilar was on the phone.
"yes, ooh good im glad she is , that is such a good idea Mrs. Crane yes see you later bye" Pilar said as she hung up the phone.
Luis didn't know what that was about if since it was Ivy he really didn’t want to know or think about anything to do with them, probably something to do with her nails or something.
"mama, what does Ivy want you to do now, order clothes for her from Paris or something , a typical Crane thing to do"
Luis complained , he never likes Pilar to work for them all these years but she was adamanet about her job and he cant convince her to leave it but that does not mean he has to like it.
"No Luis, Ivy was just filling me in because Ethan has had a accident very serious and he is in a coma and she was desperate she didn't know what to do she wanted someone to be with him, someone she knows will want to be here if something happened to him."
Luis explain the situation to Luis, even though he didn't seem to care that very much considering it was Ethan and even though he is not a Crane anymore he blamed anyone for Sheridan leaving.
"So, Ethan's had a accident, then im sure Theresa would want to be there is thats why Ivy was talking about?"
Luis asked his mother, even though he didn't like the thought of Theresa involved with the Cranes, Ethan turned out not to be one but Ivy is and she is Ethan's mother so she is still partially involved with them.
"No mijo, That’s not who ivy was talking about Theresa is already at the hospital, the person that Ivy called and is coming back to Harmony is Sheridan!"
Pilar waited for Luis's reaction to the news that Sheridan was coming back to town.
"Sheridan?? Sheridan is coming back to Town!!!!"
Luis tried to make the words hammer into his brain and try to make it register properly this is the day he had been waiting for ever since she left, what will he do, what will he say. This thought pondered Luis's head over and over.

Chapter 3:
Luis's head was spinning around and around like a thunderstorm.
He had to make sure he had heard it right.
“Mama, did you just say that Sheridan is coming back to Harmony”
Luis asked Disbelieving.
“Yes, Luis Sheridan should arrive in the morning”
Pilar saw Luis walk into the living room and slump himself onto the sofa, in shock.
She followed him, sat next to him in a hope of comfort.
“Mijo are you okay , know this must come as such a shock and im sure you want to see her to know why she left”
Luis looked at her contently.
“yes mama, could you blame me ?”
He said in a matter of fact tone.
He closed his eyes to when he found out she left 5 years before, when he's life practically ended.
FLASHBACK
Luis has been looking for Sheridan all day , but no-one had seen her he was beginning to worry about where she could be.
At a last ditch effort to find her, he goes to the cottage, he opens the door and sees a whole bunch of movers telling him to get out of the way with boxes and crates they were moving things out for some reason and he was determined to find out what was going on.
He was confuzzled and he had no idea why they were moving stuff out when he saw Julian talking to one of the guys about some paperwork.
“Julian”
He called out angrily from the doorway as he made himself toward him.
Julian sighed and rolled his eyes at Luis.
“Oh geeze, hello officer and what may i do for you”
Luis looks angry everytime he sees him he realizes how much he gets to him.
“Where is Sheridan , i cant find her !”
Luis demanded from him looking around the place it was practically empty as if Sheridan had never lived there.
Julian started to walk away when Luis grabbed him to stop him he needed answers.
“How the hell would i know, she left town thats all i know and probably get away from you, well who could blame her”
he smirked and headed to stroll out the door.
“Where the hell do you think you are going , that is not a straight answer and i want to know now”
he yelled , you would think the whole grounds of the estate would hear him.
He grabbed Julian by the collar very tightly that he could hardly breathe.
“I want answers, and i want them now damit not any of this crap you are giving me tell me the truth for once in your pathetic of a life”
Julian was choking from lack of oxygen.
“Luis, Im sorry If i knew something i would tell you i don't get told much and look since you are about to kill me what use is it to lie right”
Julian said sincerely, he was actually telling the truth.
He just got told what to do and when to do them by Alistair without any questions asked.
Luis released him.
“You are not worth it, i'll find out for myself and if you are lying them you will surely pay and i always repaid my debts so you better watch your back im keeping a eye on you”
Luis then stormed out of the cottage, slamming the door shut tight.
END OF FLASHBACK
Luis came back to reality.
“Mama i cant believe tomorrow all i ever wanted is going to become a reality “
Pilar ran her hand through Luis's hair.
“I know Mijo, i know, why don't you go and get some sleep you have a long day tomorrow”
Luis agreed and kissed Pilar on the cheek slowly getting up and heading toward his room thinking things are going to change the next day.
Sheridan wiped her tears and lifted herself up from the floor and started throwing things from her closet into her suitcase.
After she finished that she left her room and went and slowly opened the door next to hers and walked over to the small purple bed next to the window.
“Angel? Baby.. wake up sweetie we are leaving for awhile , to go and see our family back in Harmony you remember that town that i told you about don't you.”
Angel nodded , she sat up in her bed with her night-light on and her pink covers wrapped around her she blinked and rubs her eyes.
“Okay Mommy”
The little girl said quietly, she shook the blankets off herself and slowly climbing out of bed she was wearing winnie the pooh pajamas.
She took little steps over to her closet and picked out her purple turtle neck top and her khaki pants and slipped on her shoes.
“Are we going to see daddy?”
Angel asked Sheridan and looked into her eyes hopeful, Sheridan told Angel that her Father was in Harmony her home town and she lied and said he abandoned her, she certainly did not want to tell her the truth about why she left , she didn't think a 5 year old girl would be able to handle it.
Sheridan had a deep longing look in her eyes.
“Oh, Hunny i don't know about that i will have to think about it, okay now hurry go pack our flight is in a hour”
Sheridan went and grabbed her bags, laid them in the front doorway and rang up for the doorman to bring them down and also a car to take them to the airport.
Angel came out a few minutes later and then there was a knock on the door it was the doorman ready to bring their stuff down.
“Yes we are checking out,i would like a car to the airport please”
he nodded and they all left the room and headed down the elevator to check out and then off to the airport.
“Going home is like going on a roller coaster”
Sheridan mumbled to herself under her breath.
Chapter 4:
A new day in Harmony
Sheridan woke at 7am by the announcement about their landing arrival at the Boston Airport, She glanced in the seat next to her to see her sleeping daughter crawled up in her seat.
“Angel, baby sweet open your eyes we are about to land and will be home back in Harmony very soon”
Angel opened her eyes and yawned , stretching her small arms out.
“We're here already?”
Her young daughter asked.
Sheridan nodded and kissed Angel's forehead.
A moment later they landed at Boston Airport , Sheridan and Angel walked through the crowded Airport and had a car waiting for them for the 20 miles back to Harmony.
They walked into the parking lot and Sheridan buckled Angel into the car before getting in herself.
“Here we go”
Sheridan said aloud.
“I wonder , just how it will feel to be back in Harmony after all these years”
She thought to herself.
Luis was tossing and turning all through the night anticipating about the day ahead and what it may bring.
Dream
Luis walked into the Crane mansion as he was going to talk to Pilar , he walked into the living room to see Sheridan's eyes staring back at him.
“Sh..eridan”
Was all he could get out of his mouth , he could hardly breathe.
To Luis she was more beautiful than he remembered , her hair was abit longer and golden more so than before like the sunlight.
She seemed to have more curves than he notices before and her eyes and face had a glow to them.
He was in shock , he wasn't prepared for this..not yet, he was speechless.
“Luis”
She responded in a clear, concise tone.
They then embraced as if they were the only two people left there on earth.
Then Luis pulled away, he needed answers and he was determined on getting them.
“Sheridan why did you leave me all those years ago and break my heart into a million pieces”
He asked her with a confused look on his face.
“Sheridan? , come on baby look at me, i need to know”
He was getting a bad feeling in his stomach.
Sheridan look a deep breath as she prepared to tell him the truth behind her leaving.
“Oh im sorry to tell you this way i left because..”
She started to say when a strange guy came through the door and past Luis where he was shocked to see the guy up and kiss Sheridan.
“Who the hell do you think you are and why do you think you have any right to kiss her”
Luis demanded, he was just about ready to pound this guy.
The guy looked from Luis to Sheridan back to Luis again.
“Sheridan hasn't told you? she and i are married have been for the past few years”
Luis grabbed the guy by the shirt and was about to give him a good wack when Sheridan stopped him dead in his tracks
“No Luis stop , don't. he's right we are married that is why i left , i fell in love with him im so very sorry”
Luis screamed through the echos of the mansion.
“NOOOOOOO”
End of dream
Luis woke up in a sweat.
“No, that cant be the reason”
he tried to convince himself
He sat up in his bed, his heart was beating like a speeding bullet
He rubbed his eyes to make sure he is awake and that it was not reality and only a bad dream.
“I have to think positive that she left for some other reason”
he put that thought out of his mind and went to Shower and dress.
30 Minutes later Sheridan arrived in Harmony.
She stopped the car when she saw the sign “Welcome to Harmony”
“Right, welcome”
She sighed.
Sheridan was quite hesitant but she had come all this way which means no turning back now.
“Well its now or never”
She whispered.
Angel then sudden woke up who was exhausted from their flight that she fell asleep once she got in the car,
“Did you say something Mommy?”
Sheridan looked at her daughter and smiled sweetly.
“No hunny everything is fine, look sweetie we just arrived in Harmony we should be at the house in a few short minutes”
Angel put on her most warming smile she couldn't wait , to meet all her family she never knew or met it was so overwhelming.
She just sat back as they pulled into the gates of the estate.
“Oh Mommy, look it is so huge and beautiful”
Angel said in awe.
Sheridan looked around the estate as it brought back memories.
“Huge..yes but beautiful no”
Sheridan thought to herself and sighed she cant believe she was back here she swore to herself that she would never come back here less alone bring Angel.
“Come on, lets start to make our way inside”
Sheridan helped her daughter out of the car and they walked toward the front door just as she was about to open it she stopped herself.
“What's the matter:
Her concerned daughter asked her as she saw the reluctant look on her mother's face.
“Nothing baby, just been a long time since i was here thats all”
Sheridan went silent.

Chapter 5:
Pilar was interrupted from her phone conversation with Ivy, who was updating her on Ethan's condition, it seems he is stable but other than that no change when the doorbell rung.
“Ivy there is someone at the door call if there is any news”
Pilar excused herself and hung the receiver up walked out of the living room and toward the front door.
She pulled open the door to come face to face with Sheridan who was dressed in a light sundress and also next to her holding her hand was a small child she didn't know but somehow she felt a instant familiar connection to.
Sheridan now had shoulder length blonde hair , she was aged a little since it had been 5 years since Pilar last saw her, she noticed Sheridan no longer had the bright spark about her but she did seem happy whenever she looked at the young girl.
The young girl has bright blue eyes and long golden curls the color of sunflowers.
“Omg, Sheridan , Welcome Home”
Pilar blurted out , she smiled brightly and held her tight.
Sheridan, Shocked but happily returned her embrace.
“Oh Pilar”
Sheridan had tears in her eyes.
“How ive missed you and im sorry its been so long”
She commented and broke apart.
Pilar looked at her and wiped her tears from Sheridan's eyes.
“Its okay , you don't need to apologize im sure you had your reasons for doing what you did and i wont push you to reveal them”
Sheridan then glanced down at her daughter and those bright blue eyes that were always shinning and her sparkling smile that always gave her a reason to wake up every morning.
If it wasn't for her Sheridan would not be able to get through the days.
Pilar looked from Sheridan to Angel back to Sheridan again , confused.
“Sheridan hunny who may i ask is this cute little girl”
She asked politely smiling at Angel, Sheridan looked around and thought it was about time she should tell Pilar she had a grand-daughter.
“I don't think i should say anything right here standing up what i need to tell you we should sit down, come on lets go into the living room”
Pilar nodded not quite understanding so the three of them walked through the foyer and into the living room sitting down on the couch.
Sheridan took a few deep breaths before she would start to tell her .
“Pilar trust me when i say this, what i am about to say will come to you as a big shock and will change lives forever, everyone's lives”
Pilar was trying to make out her _expression to what she was about to say.
“Okay well , i don't want this to go on forever because it can ,so to make a long story short this young child , well she is my daughter , her name is Angel and is 5 years old don't we look alike?”
Sheridan said smiling at Angel.
Pilar was absolutely totally blown away by Sheridan's confession.
“Your child? 5 Years old! her name is Angel!”
She was trying to dissolve what Sheridan just told her.
Sheridan cleared her throat.
“Yes, Pilar that's right Angel Teresa Lopez-Fitzgerald Crane”
Pilar's eyes practically jumped out of her head.
Luis got dressed in his Police Uniform before heading off to work for the station.
He walked into the kitchen to go through the back door as he's car was closer to that entrance rather than the front door when he saw a note from Pilar on the table.
Luis,
Sorry i didn't wake you sooner but i thought i should let you sleep longer, i am about to leave for work and just wanted to let you know where i would be in case you needed me, Theresa is still at the hospital she hasn't left Ethan's side but i cant blame her i would do the same thing she is, and Miguel stayed the night at the bennett's.
I'll talk to you when i get home.

Luis sighed , he hated it how Pilar has to work tooth and nail to meet ends meet and pay their bills every month and especially having to do it at THAT place the Crane mansion he despised it there.
he thinks they work her too hard and not give her enough money for the work she does, Pilar has always told him she doesn't mind working so many hours and she loves what she does and wont have it any other way.
He then put down the note, grabbed his jacked and left for work.
Ten minutes later Luis parked his Cruiser in the stations's parking lot.
He walked out of the car and in through the doors that led into headquarters.
He saw Sam sorting through some paperwork on his desk,Sam then looked up and saw Luis come in he waved for them to join him.
“Oh hey good morning Luis, you don't look so good like you hadn't had any sleep, are you okay buddy?”
Luis frowned and thought there was no use keeping it from him he was sure word would get around town sooner or later.
“Actually to tell you the truth no, not really”
Luis sat down next to Sam and began to tell him what Pilar had told him the night before that has changed his life.
“Well so it appears that Sheridan was coming back to town this morning , i was in such shock when mama told me that.
I have no idea what i am going to say to her will i be strong and confront her or will i break and crumble at the sight of her.
You know how miserable i have been the last few years since she left and now she is back oh man i need to know why she left me”
Luis told Sam , banging his hands onto the desk in frustration.
“yeah i know i remember oh wow she is back in town that must have come as quite a shock i wish you the best of luck “
Luis thanked him for always being there for him and also for being a great friend, he then stood up and walked over to his own desk to do some paperwork of his own before he could go over and talk to Sheridan.
Luis just remembered that he has to do a shift at the Youth Center right after work finishes, he sighs he was hoping he would have time to go over to the Crane mansion to talk to Sheridan the one place he dreaded going.
“Well i guess the sooner i finish here the sooner i can take the shift and then head over the the estate.
He said to himself trying to imagine how this confrontation was going to go.
“Omg, is she?”
Pilar started to say still in shock not really knowing what to say.
“Yes she is Luis's daughter , i was pregnant when i left i was about to tell Luis when something happened i don't want to talk about right now”
Pilar nodded as she didn't wanna pry into what Sheridan didn't wanna talk about if Sheridan wanted to tell her than she would be here but if not than it was her business.
“Oh wow , i have a grand-daughter”
She was trying to say it over and over for the news to sink it.
Pilar turned to look at Angel her one and only Grand-daughter.
“Hey Angel sweetie your so beautiful the sitting image of your Mommy wanna give your ABUELA a hug?”
Angel gave no response instead she ran into her arms crying happy tears.
Pilar was also crying it was a long time since she had been this happy.
“Oh my darling you are no baby anymore you are so big”
Pilar wiped Angel's tears from her eyes.
“Yep im a bit girl now”
Angel giggled finally feeling she had everything she ever wanted , more family.
“Yes you are a big girl now and i wish i was there when you were born and growing up”
Sheridan apologized for not telling her again.
“I understand Sheridan all that matters is that we are all together now and i finally get to see my first grand-daughter grow up with family who love her”
Sheridan just nodded and smiled not wanting to say anything that they were just there until Ethan is better than after that they are leaving.

Chapter 6:
Pilar was playing with Angel , teaching her the names in the Lopez-Fitzgerald family.
“This is Theresa , my daughter your Aunt”
She showed her photos of every family member.
“Oh just like my second name”
Angel giggled.
Pilar laughed with her grand-daughter
“Yeah, just like your name”
She looked at Sheridan for a moment then paid her attention toward Angel.
“She's so pretty, just like you”
Pilar blushed at her comment.
“Oh boy you sure know how to boost someone up don't you?”
Pilar then put Theresa's picture at the back of the stack.
“Next is your Uncle Miguel”
Angel traced the photo with her finger.
“Ohhhh, he has your eyes”
She smiled
“your a very observant young girl”
Angel nodded and giggled sweetly.
“Cant help it, its a nature i was born and raised with”
Pilar grinned then took out another photo.
“here is Antonio , my eldest son, he was the one who rescued your mommy a few years back and brought her back to Harmony”
She gave Angel the photo so she can look properly at Antonio.
“But he doesn't look anything like anyone else in the family”
Angel noticed no resemblance at all to any of the others.
Pilar had to think of something to tell her so that she wouldn't get too suspicious, as she seems to be the equisitive type of child and considering who her parents are its not hard to figure out why.
“Ah well , he um looks like my husband”
She covered the truth was that she would never want revealed when the truth was that one night years ago Alistair got her drunk and took advantage of her which produced her son Antonio she knew it was not her husbands but she could not tell him that because he would leave her in a flash so she kept the secret all these years and made out as though he was Martin's child and no-one was the wiser lucky no-one was suspicious to that because if there was blood work done then the truth would come out and hell would freeze over before she would let that happen.
“Antonio left with his girlfriend to travel the world “
She then showed her the final photo she had and it was Luis , Angel's Father.
“Angel, baby this is Luis my Second son, your Daddy”
Her eyes widened in surprise.
“Thats daddy?”
She asked in shock as Sheridan never showed her a photo of what her father looked like she just told Angel a few things about him not always good like when she lied about him abandoning her .
“Oh i wanna know everything , i wanna meet him even if he did abandon me as a baby”
Pilar was of course shocked and horrified at Angel's comment because she knew that Luis didn't even know he had a child and if he did he would never in a million years do that to her, she was totally confused she shot a look at Sheridan.
Sheridan didn't know what to say.
“helen?”
She called for the cook from the Kitchen.
“yes miss”
helen asked as she came out into the living room.
Sheridan asked her if she could take Angel in the kitchen for some cookies and milk so she could talk to Pilar alone.
She agreed, Angel stood up and walked into the kitchen with Helen while Pilar got up and walked and sat next to Sheridan on the couch.
She looked at Sheridan.
“Now, tell me what's going on!”
Luis was finally finished his paperwork and was so ready to go home but he still had the shift at the youth center though.
“hey Sam , i'm knocking off i'll be next door if you need me though”
Sam nodded.
“okay buddy, good luck for later, im sure you are going to need it”
Luis sighed, packed up his stuff and headed out the door which was where the center was located.
“this is going to be one of those long days”
He said as he swang open the doors to the Youth center to see some kids throwing some hoops in the court.
“hey Guys”
He called out to the kids.
There was 3 boys on the court.
“Oh hey Luis, wanna shoot some baskets?”
They asked him bouncing the ball around the court.
Luis was not really up to play but he thought he should since he was the director and for the kids sake he did not want them to think anything was really wrong.
“sure okay lets get this show on the road”
he laughed and ran onto the court, getting the ball and slam dunking it into the ring.
Sheridan had to explain to Pilar the reason Angel thought Luis abandoned her when in fact he had no idea he had a child.
“Well i was mad and angry at the time and it just came out i didn't mean it and then i couldn't take it back”
Pilar was confused as she didn't know what that comment meant but she didn't say anything about ti further though.
“But Sheridan, you could at least tell him about Angel whatever happened between you two should not have to affect his relationship with his daughter”
She said wholeheartly.
Sheridan looked into Pilar's sweet eyes she could never say No to her and she could always make Sheridan see the clear picture in every situation.
“Okay , Pilar for Angel's sake i will tell him”
They embraced , finally Pilar thought their family was going to be united now and forever.
“I think there is no time like the present”
She pointed out to Sheridan grabbing her hand and pulling her up from the couch.
“What?? Now.. don't you think its too soon?”
Sheridan was whining she was trying to put it off as much as she could cause she knows how Luis is going to react and it certainly wont be pretty.
“No i think its not too soon i think you have put it off too long as it is, there is no time like the present so off you go missie i think he is at the Youth Center right now, so go on before you chicken out”
Sheridan was practically being forced out through the door.
“Oh don't worry i'll look after Angel til you get but i promise she will be fine she is safe with me”
Pilar assured her.
Sheridan closed the door, drove into town and parked along the sidewalk, it was only a mile to the center, she could walk there also she was sure she would need a walk later to cool off.
She walked and walk, she contemplated going back but knew she had to do this now or else she would never will and she did promise Pilar though and she always keeps her promises.
Sheridan then found herself across the street from the Center. Luis was helping out some kids out the front and his heart practically jumped out of his body when he got the shock of his life , he saw Sheridan looking straight at him from the other side of the road.
“Luis”
She cried out.
“Sheridan”
Luis yelled , he walked to the edge of the road ready to cross over he could clearly see her she was beautiful as he remembered he couldn't keep his eyes off her.
Sheridan started to cross the street to the other side where Luis was when she didn't watch the road and see the Truck coming from the opposite direction.
Luis freaked when he saw the truck he couldn't get to her in time it was too late.
“SHERIDAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
He screamed with all that he had in him, it was like a nightmare this was the only time he could not save her.
Sheridan froze when she saw the truck coming for her she was like stuck in the middle of the road and couldn't do anything her body was not moving.
The last thing she she remembers is the oncoming vehicle before her whole world goes black.
“NOOOOOOOOOOO”
She screams.

Chapter 7:
Luis ran across the road as he hears the horrid crash, the truck stops and a mid 40 year old man steps out and rushes toward the body that lays unconscious on the ground.
"Oh my, im so sorry, miss.. can you hear me?" his voice echos through the crowd of people that had now crowded around the accident site.
Cars stopped to take notice and people stopped and looked out of curiosity wanting to know what had happened always being busy-bodies as usual since this was Harmony and such a small town where everyone has gotta know everything and whatever goes on
Luis crawled down on the ground to a unconscious Sheridan, clothes torn from when her body has slip from under the truck, bruises were visible to see.
“Sheri, wake up “ He began to cry out.
EMT's came onto the scene, pulled out a stretcher and they gently lifted Sheridan onto it, supporting her back.
He ran after them as they were loading her into the Ambulance.
There was one emt left standing before they left, Luis tapped him on the shoulder and watched as he turned around facing him.
“Excuse me, please tell me if you can , how is she, will she live please i need to know i love her than more than anything on the earth” Luis asked pointing to the woman on the stretcher in the back of the Ambulance.
The emt sighed as he looked from Sheridan to Luis.
“Im sorry sir but it does not look good, though it is too soon to tell if there was any real permanent damage done, excuse me i have to go” He turned away from Luis and jumped into the vehicle.
Luis watches the scene as it slowly pulls away from the curb, as though time has slowed down not really being in the normal time frame.
“She has to live, she just HAS to” He tells himself..for most of his adult life he has had a habit of talking to himself it seems to help solve alot of his delimas, saying things outloud rather than not at all.
He then spun around when he heard a police office talking to a guy then once Luis saw his face he remembers that he was the Truck driver, the one person who did this to Sheridan, his beloved.
“You!” Luis angrily said , striding toward the guy and grabbing him by the shirt.
“You were the one who did this”
The Truck driver could hardly breathe, Luis was holding him by the color which was practically choking the life out of him, feeling like that Luis was about to kill him.
“Please!” he begged.
“I'm sorry, i didn't meant it, she came out of nowhere and i put on the breaks but it was too late and before i knew it, i had hit her” he said crying , he sounded so sincere that it had to be the truth, his mother always told him violence never solved anything just makes it worse.
Luis looked him straight in the eyes , because he always got told the truth is always in the eyes, they do not lie.
He saw compassion, honesty and truth, he saw that he was not lying , Luis released him.
“I'm sorry i am just angry and upset for what has happened and i know things happen you cant control i just got out of hand, i can see you are telling the truth, ive so have to get out of here and to the hospital”
He started to walk away toward the Youth center which was where his car was located, he grabbed his cell from his pocket and called his mother at the Mansion.
Three rings and then someone picks up the receiver.
“Hello” A woman spoke through the phone , Luis breathed his heard beating fast, he was sure she would want to know about Sheridan and he needed her right now.
“Mama, something is wrong, meet me at the hospital, there is no time to explain right now just meet me there okay!”
Pilar was panicking, she had all these thoughts running her her head she didn't know what had happened she was afraid of what it might be, she was going crazy, she wanted to know what happened to have Luis not tell her right away.
“I'm on my way Luis, be right there”
She put down the phone, grabbed Angel and her bag then left the house for the hospital.
Luis was pacing the halls of the hospital, if he did that for much longer he would burn a hole in the floor.
Waiting was something Luis least liked to do and he certainly was not good at it.
“Doctor!, Doctor!” He called out from the corridor though no-one was answering him or paying any attention to him at all.
A few minutes later Luis saw Pilar walk through the doors of the hospital with a little girl holding her hand.
“Mama!” He yelled out, walked toward her and Pilar embraced her emotional son.
“Luis, what is it? what is wrong” She sounded frantic horrified that it was not Ethan.
“Oh no, not Ethan “ She exclaimed, afraid to find out that is what happened that he got worse but then again if that was the case then Luis would not act like this.
Luis took a deep breath.
“No, its not Ethan im sure he's stable just like you said thats not why im here” Pilar looked at her son with a confused _expression on her face.
“if its not Ethan then who is it then?”
The Hospital was filled with patients and doctors running around frantically, into and out of rooms never stopping to talk to anyone about their loved ones well not Luis's and that was a fact.
“It's Sheridan, Mama, she was hit by a truck a while ago and they brought here here and now i have no idea how she is they wont stop and tell me”
A hand came over pilar's mouth and a horrified look came upon her face.
“You talked to her?” She asked curiously, she glanced down at Angel then back up to Luis again.
“Well no not exactly, i didn't get the chance to, by the way who is this?” he shot a glance at his daughter not knowing who she really is.
Angel was quiet for the whole time, she was about to say something but just then she looked at pilar and stayed silent.
“Um.. well.. her..well that's..” She shifted uncomfortly on each foot trying to decide if she should be the one to tell him.
“I know who she is” He announced.
She looked at him shocked.
“you do?”
Luis cleared his throat.
“Yes, she has to be someone you are babysitting for right?”
Pilar's heart was racing like a speeding bullet.
“Babysitting? yeah i guess in a way i am” She smiled at Angel who had the most beautiful smile just like her mothers.
“She's cute” Luis admired Angel.
Pilar was admiring how Luis was looking at his daughter, even though he didn't know it yet.
She then changed the subject.
“So how is Sheridan, any news?”
Sadness overtook Luis.
“Unfortunately no, i can't get a doctor to tell me anything about her condition”
Pilar then decided to find out on her own, she stood on the table behind her and cleared her voice.
“CAN I HAVE A DOCTOR OVER HERE THIS FREAKING MINUTE” She screamed, her vocal cords blasting through the entire hospital.
Everyone stopped, looked around and starred at her.
“What are YOU looking at?” She demanded to one of the girls, who looked at her with her mouth open .
The girl and everyone else turn back to what they were doing and a doctor came toward them.
“Yes, what can i do for you, and what you mind not screaming it is a hospital after all”
Pilar breathed, calmed down and nodded.
“we need to know how Sheridan Crane is doing, she was brought in the ER like a hour or so ago”
The doctor looked at his charts.
“Oh yes, Sheridan Crane here we go.. she has suffered quite a bit of damage and is not in a very good condition but she is alive and we are all praying for the best, its now up to her she has got to have the will to live, we have put her on a respirator”
Pilar and Luis thanked the doctor for the information.
“May i go see her?” Luis asked him.
The doctor nodded and showed him the room she was in.
Luis walked into Room 14B, looks around the plain surroundings.
He then looks at the bed and sees Sheridan hooked up to all these machines.
“Oh sheri” He says sitting in the chair next to the bed.
Theresa walks down the hospital corridor , past Pilar in a catatonic like state.
”Theresita, Theresita” Pilar called but Theresa did not hear anyone, she was in her own world, she blocked everyone out.
Theresa continued walking til she came in contact with the door to Sheridan's room.
She walked in, her eyes starring straight ahead like a zombie.
Luis sees Theresa enter the room and tries to put a convincing smile on his face for his sister.
”Hey Theresa” Luis says trying to sound like his normal self though not sure how good it was doing though.
She says nothing but continues walking as she gets to Sheridan's respirator.
”This is for you, my love, its all your fault you took him away from me” She says her voice sounding like a robot, she looks at Sheridan.
She then puts her hand on the switch for Sheridan's respirator and turns it off so that Sheridan does not have any oxygen left.
”Nooo.. what have you done Theresa?”Luis cries out in pain as he watches Sheridan's oxygen and life drain away from her body.
He then yells for help.

Chapter 8:
Sheridan's monitors go off signaling disaster, the lights and the beeping noises indicate bad news.
Nurses, Doctors rush through the door to see Luis panicking and a young girl over by the machines, her eyes so dead you would think she was looking right through you.
“Excuse, Excuse me, Please wait outside” One of those nurses who came in with the doctor forced Luis and a dead to the world Theresa out of the door and into the waiting room.
“Wait” Luis started to say when the nurse just shaked her head Luis then had no choice but leave and wait outside.
“Just wait outside and the Dr Jacobs will be with your shortly to give you some news upon her condition soon”
Theresa was just standing there with a evil grin upon her face.
“I hope you go to hell” She was chanting over and over.
Luis saw this and shook her by the shoulders.
“Theresa!, Theresa!, why the hell did you just do that?” His eyes smelled of anger and confusion.
Theresa then out of the blue snapped out of her daze.
“What, what Luis? What's wrong why are you yelling at me?”
Her head was spinning around and around, she could not remember what transpired in the last hour or so, like she was not herself.
“You know exactly what i am talking about, Sheridan.. her machine.. you turning it off. ring a bell?” His voice started to sound sarcastic.
She rubbed her temples , her mind was racing.. trying to remember why she was outside Sheridan's room.
Last thing she remembers is being with Ethan in his room, she cant remember much else apart from that, like she has got temporary amnesia.
“Me? Turning off Sheridan's Machines - what are you crazy? Mow why would i do a thing like that?” She walked and sat down on one of the waiting room chairs.
“You tell me, That's what i'd like to know” He commented.
Theresa's Mind rolled round and she tried to think of why she couldn't remember anything and what did happen in the last hour of when she left Ethan and til now.
~Flashback~
Theresa was sitting by Ethan's hospital bedside, talking to him, the doctors say he can hear what is going on around him and that she should try talking to him.
“I love you Ethan, Please wake up!” She cried, tears flowing from her eyes.
One of the nurses who was in the room earlier, had told her about Sheridan's accident and after figuring out the connection between Sheridan and Ethan and also Theresa and Luis she figured that she should notify Theresa that she would have liked to know.
“Oh poor Luis” She put her head in her hands and sobbed for both tragedies.
Everyday Theresa kept Ethan updated on the happens around Harmony, the news, sports, what was going on with their families etc.
“Ethan baby there is some horrible news about Sheridan, well the good news is that she is back in town , But the bad news is that she was hit by a truck earlier this afternoon and is in critical condition they are not sure she will live” Ethan's heartrate skyrocketed through the roof upon hearing the news.
“I'm so sorry” She cried for his pain.
There was then a long beep on his heart machine which she then knew that his heart had stopped and he was no longer breathing.
“ETHAN , ETHAN, BREATH! WAKE UP!” She screamed through her lungs, doctors come rushing in, making her stand back so they could do their job.
They pumped his heart, trying to find a pulse, tried to resuscitate him but to no avail.
“One, Two, Three - Breathe” Dr jacobs then shakes his head in no response.
“Repeat one, two, three breathe”
He shakes his head again to the nurse, she writes it down on the chart.
They repeated it a few more times but still nothing.
They stop and Theresa sees this.
“What! Keep going, don't stop now” She demanded to them who were whispering to each other.
“I'm sorry miss , But there is nothing else we can do”
Theresa cried out.
“Nooooooooooooo, Ethan don't leave me , i love you” She fell to the ground and broke down sobbing her eyes out.
“It's all your fault Sheridan!”
She cursed through the entire hospital.
“If it wasn't for you, Ethan would still be with me now, i hate you, i hate you i'll never ever ever forgive you for taking him away from me you'll pay no matter what i have to do, if its the last thing i do you will pay dearly”
~End of Flashback~
Theresa snapped back to reality to realize that she was at the hospital.
“I'm sorry Luis , that wasn't me Like someone had taken over my body”
This was one of those moments where she was dead serious, or she was just dead either way she was being serious.
Luis then comforted her, he loves his sister no matter what she does.
“Well just as long as Sheridan will be alright , that is the main thing, whatever took you over or whatever does not matter all that i care about is having Sheridan well”
He stood up and walked over to her room to see the machine still hooked up to her, doctors walking around recording things on her chart.
Then Dr. Jacobs Sheridan's doctor came from the room.
“Mr. Lopez-Fitzgerald?” He asked around.
Luis came forward.
“Yes Dr.Jacobs, what can you tell me about Sheridan ?” Luis was growing impatient over how Sheridan was and didn't know how much else he could handle.
“Well , in reguards to Miss Crane and her condition, she is stable and will pull through even though it was touch and go there for awhile we have her settled and she will be just fine”
Luis sighed in relief, he was simply overjoyed.
“Oh thank you Dr. you have no idea how happy this news makes me”
Luis shook his hand in gratitude, he was so happy he could burst.
“oh i think i know, i can see how much she means to you and that you love her very much and her love for you pulled her from the brink of death and gave her the will to live”
He practically jumped up and hugged the doctor but decided against it.
Pilar came forward to see what the doctor had told Luis about Sheridan and her condition.
“Luis? what is it.. what did the doctor say?”
She asked concernly.
Luis up and hugged her.
“Oh Mama, it's wonderful news, Sheridan is going to live, she is going to pull through, this is the best news i could be given”
Pilar was overjoyed and delighted.
“Oh Luis, I'm so happy”
She replied to him with a huge grin on her face.
She was not just happy for Luis and herself but for her grand-daughter whose Mother was going to live. and sheridan would see her daughter grow up.
