Chapter 1:
Luis and Sheridan walked inside from the romantic carriage ride they had had earlier. "Thanks again, Luis, that was so sweet!" Sheridan said. "I just want to let you know how much I love you, even if we can't have strenuous activity at the moment." Luis said grinning. "Ohh I love you, too!" Luis leaned into kiss Sheridan when the phone rang. "Ugh, let me get that," Sheridan said, angry.
"Hello."
"Sheridan! Hey It's Ethan! I just wanted to know if you and Luis are still going to be attending our engagement party tonight."
"Oh. . Of course, Ethan, we'll be there!"
"Okay, well, I'll see you two at 8 then!"
"Bye," she said and hung up the phone.
"That was Ethan," Sheridan stated. "He wanted to know if we were still going to his engagement party, and I said we would. Is that okay, baby?"
"That's fine, but just becuase we can't engage in any strenuous activity tonight," Luis said as he rubbed Sheridan's hand.
"Thank You. This really means alot." Sheridan said as she quickly kissed Luis on the cheeck. "Well I am going to get ready since its already 7!"
"Sheridan, will it be alright if I go home to my house to get a few things for tonight, it will just take a few minutes."
"Yeah Luis that's fine, just be back by 8 okay?"
"Don't worry, I wouldn't ever miss my Sheridan looking all pretty." Luis smiled.
"Awww you are soo sweet to me Luis, but you better get going if you are gonna be back by 8."
"Okay be careful, I'll be right back. I love you."
"Love you too, bye!"
Sheridan took a quick shower and changed into a short spagetti strapped dress. She put on some makeup, and jewelry to look extra special for Luis.
Luis parked his car in the parking lot of the jewelry store.
He was hoping to surprise Sheridan tonight.
He loved her so much and he hoped she felt the same way. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Tonight would be the night, he thought.
He paid the guy at the register and slipped the black box in his pocket, and sped off to his house.
Luis took a shower and changed into some nicer clothes. On his way out the door he saw his mama and decided to talk to her about Sheridan. He told her what he had planned tonight, and Pilar said he was very happy for them.

Luis finally made it back to the cottage.
He opened the door and snuck up behind Sheridan. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck. "Hey beautiful." "Luis! You're back! I missed you!" Luis laughed, he had only been gone for 45 minutes, but he loved how she loved him so much.
"I missed you too."
"Well, it's about time to go," Luis said and he handed Sheridan a beautiful red rose.
"Shall we?" Luis hooked up arms with Sheridan and escorted her out of the cottage. This was going to be a night to remember the rest of their lives! :)

Chapter 2:
Luis arrived at the Crane mansion at exactly 8:00.
Many people from in a out of town had come to the celebration, astonished at how Ethan had dumped Gwen the day before the wedding.
When Luis and Sheridan entered the doors though, many people crowded around them too.
Sheridan was flooded with questions and reporters questioned her about her "death".
The memories of the terrible experience of being trapped in the coffin came flooding back to her.
Sheridan fell to her knees and started sobbing.
"Hey Sheridan, it's okay, do you want me to get these reporters away?" Luis asked in a soothing voice.
Sheridan nodded.
When the reporters had cleared away, Luis took Sheridan in his arms and comforted her.
"Sheridan, you don't have to remember the horrible experience. Just think, we're together now! I will never let anything like that happen to you again." Luis promised.
"Oh Luis, Whenever I think of what I put you through, making you think that I was really dead, and almost really dieing. It's just so frightening." Sheridan stammered.
"I know, it was hard for me thinking you were really dead, that's why I did something Sheridan. I want you to know that almost losing you broke my heart into a million pieces. Whenever I think of losing you, i know i just can't, and that's why I have to ask you Sheridan," Luis go down on one knee, "Sheridan will you. .. "
Luis was interrupted by gasps from many of the guests at the party.
"Yes, It's true, Sheridan did murder Luis's father," Ivy exclaimed.
Ivy told the tale, including every little bit, the letter opener and everything.
"No!" Sheridan screamed.
"I didn't kill him! Eve said I didn't kill him!"
"Well, what do you call this Sheridan," Ivy said as she played the tape of Sheridan's confession to the audience.
"Oh My God! Sheridan!" Luis just stared at her, in shock.

Chapter 3:
It had been three days since the horrible engagement party.
Luis had left Sheridan that night, telling her he needed some time to think, but he would eventuallly return to her.
~*~
Sheridan lay in her bed in the same clothes she had worn the night of the party.
She hadn't eaten, slept, or even moved from this position since that night.
Her life had been soo perfect before that horrible night.
She had wanted to stay in that moment with Luis forever.
Sheridan had never imagined Luis would leave her.
She suddenly flashed back to that night**
~*~Flashback~*~
"Oh My God Sheridan, you killed him, you killed my father!"
"But Luis, Eve said I didn't kill him, she said it was me remembering my mother's death!" Sheridan choked out.
"Oh but Sheridan, Eve covered that up so you and Luis could be happy, but guess what? I found the tape!" Alistair scoffed.
"How could you do this Sheridan?? Kill my own father? I just don't understand!" Luis yelled, hurt.
Sheridan winced at his harsh words and the tone of his voice.
"I need to be alone Sheridan, i need to get away from you. You'll hear from me eventually, i just need to think about what you have done."
"Luissss pleaseeee don't go, please Luis!" Sheridan screamed sobbing uncontrollably.
Luis slammed the door to the mansion, slamming the door to Sheridan's life.
~*~End of Flashback~*~
Sheridan knew how much she had hurt Luis, but she couldn't believe she killed his father.
Her life had been so terrible.
Losing her mother, the only person that had ever loved her, and then losing Luis, now no one would ever love her for herself.
Ethan had come to visit her various times, begging Sheridan to get up and move on with her life. Sheridan would always decline, saying she had no life without Luis.
Sheridan knew that today Ethan and Theresa were to be married.
It hurt Sheridan so much missing her own nephews wedding, but she sent her best wishes and told Ethan how painful it would be to see Luis there.
Ethan, being the wonderful nephew he was, accepted his aunts wish and understood.
Gwen had called Sheridan several times, also in pain.
They had both lost their soulmates.
They would never love any one else in their lives.

Gwen walked up the steps of Sheridan's cottage and knocked on the door. When Sheridan didn't answer she decided to let herself in.
The door was unlocked and Gwen decided to point that out to Sheridan, but she knew it would only bring back painful memories of when Luis would get mad at Sheridan for leaving the door unlocked.
She made her way through the messy cottage, and finally made it to Sheridan's bedroom.
She found Sheridan laying on the bed staring into space.
"Sheridan, I know this is hard for you, losing Luis, and good lord, it's hard for me too! Ethan's wedding is today! But we have to move on with our lives!" Gwen said trying to make Sheridan feel better.
"I know Gwen, it's just that, i thought I would be with Luis forever. Just like I thought you would be with Ethan forever. Why do things like this happen to us? Why?" Sheridan asked wanting an answer, but knowing she would never get one.
"I don't know, Sheridan, but you have to get up, you have to move on with your life."
Eventually Gwen pulled Sheridan out of bed and persuaded her into taking a shower. Sheridan hadn't taken a shower for 3 days and the hot water felt great.
The hot shower water mingled with her tears. Sheridan knew she would never get over this.
~*~
Later that night, after a day of trying to cheer Sheridan up, Gwen took Sheridan to the Book Cafe.
That day, they had talked and talked.
Sheridan and gwen both cried, thinking about losing the love of their lives, but also talked about happier things and were a little bit happier.
Sheridan and Gwen took a seat in a booth at the cafe, and Sheridan decided to go up and order some coffee. She went up to the register, and spotted a lone blueberry muffin sitting in the window.
Sheridan broke into a new set of tears, remembering when her and Luis had fought over the blueberry muffin.
"Oh God." She said softly. "I will never get over this."
