Matthew Perry

Matthew, who plays Chandler Bing, was born in Williamstown, Massachusetts on August 19th 1969. He was then raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Matthew had his first acting experience when he was in eighth grade. At the age of 15, he moved to Los Angeles to live with his father, actor John Bennett Perry. Matthew's interest in acting grew after he performed in several high school stage productions. As well as acting Matthew had a huge talent in tennis. He was rated number 17 nationally in the junior singles and he and his partner were ranked number 3 in doubles. After his graduation, Perry intended to go to university but when he was offered a leading role in "Boys Will Be Boys" he took the opportunity to begin his chosen career. His other jobs include regular roles on "Home Free" and "Sydney" as well as a recurring part in "Growing Pains". He also guest starred on "Beverly Hills 90210". His TV movies include "Deadly Relations", "Call Me Anna" and "Dance'til Dawn". His feature length films are "A Night In The Life Of Jimmy Reardon", "She's Out Of Control", "parallel Lives", "Fools Rush In", "Three To Tango", and "Whole Nine Yards", As well as actin Perry also enjoys writing. His other interests are playing ice hockey and softball.
