Courtney Cox

Courtney who plays Monica Geller, was born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 15th 1964. Courtney is the fourth child of Richard and Courtney Cox. She has one older brother and two sisters. she also has nine half brothers and sisters. Her parents divorced when she was only ten. She stayed with her mother, who married a businessman called Hunter Copeland. After graduation from the Mountain Brook High School, she began to study architecture and interior decoration at the Mount Vernon College in Washington. In the summer holidays she went to New York where she got many modelling jobs. Courtney made he acting debut in 1984 on the daytime soap "As the World Turns" Her first successful as a movie actress was when she appeared in "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" with Jim Carrey. it wasn't until 1994 when she stared in the hit sit-com Friends. Her biggest movie success was in the horror film "Scream". On the set of "Scream" was where she met her husband David Arquette. During summer 1998 they were engaged and then married on June 12th 1999. It has now been rumoured that she might be pregnant.
