Question: What is a songfic?
Answer: A songfic is a fanfic in which the writer uses a song for his/her inspiration. Often, the lyrics of said song are incorporated into the fic, and sometimes, the entire song is wrote out inside the fic. There are quite a few songfics in this site.

Question: Is fanfic legal?
Answer: In most cases, yes. However, if you don't give credit where it's due there could be problems. So, as long as you put a disclaimer on your fics saying who they belong to and ensure your readers that you don't own the characters nor make any money from them, you should be fine.

Question: What does "TOW" stand for?
Answer: "TOW" is an abbreviation put in Friends' episode title names. For example: In "TOW the Cat", it stands for "The One With the Cat." In, "TOW Chandler Can't Cry", it stands for "The One Where Chandler Can't Cry.". In rare cases, there are episodes of Friends that don't have "TOW". "TO in Masepequa" for example. Or, the series finale "The Last One". However, any time you see "TOW" on any Friends-related site or magazine, it means either "The One With" or "The One Where".
