Analysis of Love

Tanya extended one foot infront of her as she flipped through VOGUE DAILY DUCK. It was an old edition, obviously, but it reminded her of Puck World. "Mom, Dad, I'm alright. Look at me now, I'm famous," she said, subconsciously smiling.
"I sense a strong inner peace and ego in this room." Tanya laughed seeing Grin not only enter the room with not only a funny comment but in a hawaiian shirt.
"I was ya know, just thinking about Puck World."
"Does it make you sad?"
"No, not at all... well, most of the time anyway," she said laughing alittle bit. Grin watched Tanya and appeared to be deep in thought. "Hell Grin, what does it matter? It's not like I can go back."
"Perhaps ther is a way... think deep about your possibilities." Grin jumped to the floor and crossed his legs. Tanya rolled her eys.
"And I s-suppose you want us to meditate on th-this."
"Come join me," he said with a smile.
"Grin, scientifically this is impossible!" Grin smiled once again.
"I know why you think it's impossible."
"Yes, it's because of science!"
"No, not at all," Grin leaned close to Tanya and whispered, "You just don't believe in 'The Matrix'." Tanya rolled on the floor hysterically. Giving up, Tanya sat down next to Grin. "Now relax," Grin said soothingly as Tanya closed her eyes. He moved behind her, massaging her shoulders.
"Nothing's happening."
"Because you're trying too hard, relax." Tanya suddenly gasped.
"Oh Grin! It's beautiful!"
"You're doing it! You're starting to believe!" Grin yelled excitedly.
"Grin, I believe! Oh it's gorgeous! I see-" Tanya opened her eyes to look back at Grin but froze. "You," she said as her voice trailed off. Slowly the two leaned together embracing their lips.
"Grin I-"
"Throughout all acts of Zen I cannot even describe... just know three things: you can do it and believe."
"B-but Grin, that was two?"
"I know..." he said sadly. 'I think you're really special,' Grin thought of saying, 'No, emotions equal disturbed inner peace.'
"Nevermind," he said quietly, leaving the room quickly.
Tanya watched Grin before futting fingers to her lips. 'He kissed me; I kissed Grin?' She shook her head, 'How did this possibly happen? Scientifically hormones are arroused due to the original purpose of being created to mate and multiply, but this? This short, sweet kiss? Could that be included, or is there really...' Tanya walked to her desk. Everything was arranged neatly so it did not take her long to find the files: Scientific Study of Love.
Tanya opened the file and scanned through documents until she found profiles... of her teammates:
Wild Wing appears not to be interested in lust but is interested in a good home/family in the future; not ready for serious commitment
"Duke: flirtious but solely interested in Mara, must be love
"Mallory wavers between lust and care; horrible at relationships
Nose Dive claims he only wants to be involved only in lust, but I don't believe that is sincere
"Mara Jade is only dedicated to Duke; must be love
"Amber... too confusing to analyze for this purpose?" Tanya laughed at her notes. "Poor kid... well, atleast by these observations I can prove that-" Tanya quickly skimmed over Grin's profile, "Grin: No signs of emotion". Tanya paused before pulling out a pen and jotting down the rest of her conclusion: "there is no such thing as love."
Tanya didn't move from her chair for a very long time. When she finally did move, she sighed wondering if she should believe in something like 'The Matrix'.
